Yes, surprisingly enough I do. So, Tug Boat 4005 was the first non Duplo set I was given. Was a hand-me down from my cousin in the early 90's. Which was given to me around the time I had gotten myself Riptide Racer 4002 with my allowance. Both I took with me every time I took a bath and every time I went to the pool.
I forgot for 25 years that this set existed and that I had it back then. Now I see it here again for the first time and pure, warm nostalgia flows through me. Thanks.

I just found my first set that IVE been looking for for a while. It’s the Star Wars Republic Attack Shuttle (8019). Unfortunately my standards for lego sets have been set too high from this point forward. Birthday present at 8.
Mine is

My old beetle, I got it when I was 5 years old at legoland and I built it myself in a day
Okay, maybe some of you detectives can help me identify these.
The first LEGO I ever got wasn't really a set, but a bunch of them in a horizontal set of connected bins. This was the 90s. I think the top of the bins might have been blue. It just had miscellaneous bricks inside.
The first real set I got was a tiny submarine with a hexagonal dome canopy and little robot arms. Also the 90s. I built it with my dad, and I can still remember him teaching me how to read the instruction pictures.
I had a set like that! [565-2](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=565-2#T=I).
I have most of the original parts but don't have the bin. I still have the plates though.
That is my most prized classic space set. I recently bought black 2 technic axle/pins for the wheels. There is like only 2 sets where they come in black and are now 2.5 a piece
First sets that were my own and not sort of shared with my sister were:
6265 Sabre Island and 6270 Forbidden Island. Loved both of those sets. My sister had the old 6081 Kings Mountain Fortress. She would let me play with that very rarely. We managed to rebuild it mostly last year for my son and daughter.
5620 for me, and 5613 for my brother. Still have them both complete as of today (missing box, and I think mine is missing its manual too).
But I think 8398 and 7737 are the two I hold the most sentimental value.
1682 Space Shuttle launch
A family friend bought it for me when I was five. My parents did most of the building, but it definitely kindled a love of Legos and space early on.
Now Benny is my spirit animal
Definitely. Mine was 6811. Needless to say I bought the new minifigure the day it came out
https://preview.redd.it/thwp9mlicn8d1.jpeg?width=2980&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff4988ec20d150e6bd114a78172086014a80777f
Mine was Lego Space #1968. My parents got it from McDonald's and my dad helped me put it together. It felt gigantic to me at the time and I was totally fascinated by it
https://preview.redd.it/h2qh32fcvp8d1.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=efdfdc49b17b441024dc64e158ff41f11b98a239
I remember this set. It wasn't my first but I got it when I was visiting my grandparents.
My first set was just a generic box of bricks or something. I got it for my 5th birthday in 1987.
Dark forest sets weren't released in Europe.
Dolphin point is kind of cool and yet a bit underwhelming on the inside. Feels like it needs another floor with a bedroom.
The one I remember the most vividly was an airplane one that we never actually made it into the actual set, I had to search through Google and it looks like it's 6345.
The first set I remember building was with my grandfather… set 6274 Caribbean Clipper.
6056 Dragon Wagon was the first set I built myself. Both awesome sets.
My first set was 897- mobile rocket launcher (classic space), and I recently bought an unopened box, I really want to open and build it, maybe I’ll find another opened one!
First was probably one of the Thomas Duplo sets, if Duplo counts. First non-Duplo set Antroz (8691) from Bionicle, which I got for my birthday. I was going to get Pohatu, but he was out of stock at the time. Didn’t actually end up getting him until like 10 years later. Absolutely no idea what my first normal system set was, though it was likely a pretty standard city set or something. First theme I ever really got into was Power Miners.
My older brother did have a bunch of stuff that I’d play with before then, though, including a lot of 2007 Castle and Aqua Raiders
Those window pieces bring back so many memories of 90’s/2000’s Lego. I still love this basic esthetic.
And either 6565 Construction Crew Town Theme, or a helicopter set that looked like the one in 6357 Stunt 'Copter 'n' Truck, but mine had like a little refueling station to go with it? Just the helicopter, no truck.
735-1 Christmas 1990, maybe 1991. I remember swapping between the fire truck build and the jeep build all the time.

When i was 4 or 5 years old my parents bought a police bus. Its color was green but i dont remember its brand Lego or not. So if anyone can know something about it it would be cool to know which set is it.

My dad bought me first school shoes and first Lego set.
The first one which I shared with my older brother was 6271 - Imperial Flagship
And the first one I remember having just for me was the 4950 - The Loader-Dozer from the Rock Raiders set.
the first lego set i got, excluding the hand me down bucket of random bricks from my parents, was 6625
i have fond memories of that stupid cheese wedge car
Yup! I was three years old, nearly four. It was from the UFO line in 1997, which is still the best colour scheme Lego ever had. Greatest helmets too.
The set is [4305 Cyborg Scout](https://brickset.com/sets/4305-1/Cyborg-Scout). I remember how it felt to open the perforated plastic bag with the parts in. I really loved building it and rebuilding it over the years.
Then the dark age, family trouble, and some necessary no-contact separated me from my childhood collection.
Found Nexo Knights when they were still on the shelves and fell in love. After a little while I found a New-In-Box Cyborg Scout so I could remember it properly and go back to my roots. I loved it! Still sitting on my shelf.
Aye it was one of the og pirates vs I guess they were supposed to be British or Spanish armada sets frm the mid 90s. Miss those lil cannons n sharks. Also miss when the skulls lookd spooky
6546 slick racer & 6331 the patriot. Got them the same day! My little brothers first set was 6550 outback racer. Good times. I should invest in more octan.
I feel like it’s a Lego racers set those plastic tins with the car ontop

483 Alpha-1 Rocket Base when I was 4. Relatives thought I was too young to build it, but I proved them wrong. It started a lifelong love of Lego. Still have it and every single set I've bought/received since then.
Mine is 6646 Screaming Patriot. I got it for Christmas
[6646-1: Screaming Patriot](https://brickset.com/sets/6646-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/6646-1.jpg)
I had the same.
My brother and I each got our first LEGO sets for Christmas, 1991. His was 6646 Screaming Patriot. Mine was 6878 Sub Orbital Guardian.
I found one of these at a thrift store still sealed not too long ago.
One of my first was the Delivery Van 6624.

So cool! We would be friends
That’s Commander Bear! Captain Cold was DC
My first was the Johnny Thunder - 5918 desert car. Really miss that one now I think of it. Still have the bricks in some box in the attic I think.
[5918-1: Scorpion Tracker](https://brickset.com/sets/5918-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/5918-1.jpg)
Good bot
I had that one. That was a lot of fun. The cockpit was challenging to use but had so many good details and geometries
Yes, surprisingly enough I do. So, Tug Boat 4005 was the first non Duplo set I was given. Was a hand-me down from my cousin in the early 90's. [6769-1: Fort Legoredo](https://brickset.com/sets/6769-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/6769-1.jpg)
Dang I can only imagine the battles that went down in that set, looks so fun!

[6812-1: Grid Trekkor](https://brickset.com/sets/6812-1) [[Photo]](https://images.brickset.com/sets/images/6812-1.jpg)

That set you are describing was a small set of the series Subnautica? Subnautics? Edit: Aquanauts set 6125
1977: Special Three-Set Space Pack
I'm not 100% sure what my first set actually was, but the oldest one is 6930 Space Supply Station

This was an awesome set, and i really wish i still had it
6375 the Exxon gas station
First sets that were my own and not sort of shared with my sister were: 6265 Sabre Island and 6270 Forbidden Island. Loved both of those sets. My sister had the old 6081 Kings Mountain Fortress. She would let me play with that very rarely. We managed to rebuild it mostly last year for my son and daughter.

Mine was 6842 Small Space Shuttle Craft
Mine was 7638 I bought a new one some years ago and it's now in my city, it's actually a pretty good set even with today's standards

1682 Space Shuttle launch A family friend bought it for me when I was five. My parents did most of the building, but it definitely kindled a love of Legos and space early on. Now Benny is my spirit animal
My first one was 6808: Galaxy Trekkor. Though I remember having 6646 as well. Fun sets back in the day.
Definitely. Mine was 6811. Needless to say I bought the new minifigure the day it came out https://preview.redd.it/thwp9mlicn8d1.jpeg?width=2980&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff4988ec20d150e6bd114a78172086014a80777f
I probably had some of those generic boxes of bricks first but my first actual set was 7668 Star Wars Rebel Scout Speeder
First set was Lego 90-1 Super Set (1975), I was 3.
Mine was Lego Space #1968. My parents got it from McDonald's and my dad helped me put it together. It felt gigantic to me at the time and I was totally fascinated by it https://preview.redd.it/h2qh32fcvp8d1.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=efdfdc49b17b441024dc64e158ff41f11b98a239
6357 LEGO Stunt 'Copter N' Truck, I was about 4 at the time.
Honestly, no. Hell I can't remember much of the 80s.
I remember this set. It wasn't my first but I got it when I was visiting my grandparents. My first set was just a generic box of bricks or something. I got it for my 5th birthday in 1987.
Mine was an old castle set. Not sure which one but it had two horses. I definitely had the one in the pic though too.
The Orchid set - I just got into Lego like 2 yrs ago.
Not sure which was actually first, but it’s a close thing between 6314 City People, 6024 Bandit Ambush, and 6414 Dolphin Point (still have them too!)
Dark forest sets weren't released in Europe. Dolphin point is kind of cool and yet a bit underwhelming on the inside. Feels like it needs another floor with a bedroom.

Street sweeper 6645. Loved that thing.
Oh my god I forgot I had 6646- I loved this one!
I think it was either the Small Car 3177 or Air Mail 7732 (which is still one of my favorite sets)
Mine was 4434 Dump Truck from 2011.

6600 Now, I don't exactly know if this was my first set, but it's the first I remember.
I recognize that blue star 4x1 tile in my old lego
I forgot all about this one! I loved it!
The red VW camper van #10220 I didn't really Lego as a kid, I got this set on a whim during covid and now I'm doing all the modular buildings LOL
4002 My parents were so hesitant to buy me lego because of how much expensive they were, this set felt huge to me
Magic Shop - 6020. :’)
21333 I got a late start, but have jumped in with both feet.
Pretty sure mine was the ambulance set 6688
2006 v wing
I think it may have been the Lego Glade Runner 6513.

My first set was 897- mobile rocket launcher (classic space), and I recently bought an unopened box, I really want to open and build it, maybe I’ll find another opened one!
It was the last 90’s I want to say. It was a bulk set of bricks that came in a square bucket shaped like a Lego brick.
Oh man I had this one! I guess the answer is "no" haha
My first encounter with the idea of Lego was some sort of bootleg bus set, but I think my actual first set was 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber
I remember having a giant tub of assorted Lego pieces before this, but the first set I remember having is Hagrid’s Hut
I got 6615 eagle stunt flyer from the Mall of America legoland
6609

LEGO 6678 Pnuematic crane. I remember it well as the yellow 1x4 plate on the windshield was the only 1x4 plate we had available for building.
oh man i had this
76017 Captain America vs. Hydra. I think it was my first. I was very young and could’ve gotten one before but that’s as far back as I remember.

Yup. Bought it 2 years ago at age 34. UCS Millennium Falcon. I dove head first into the deep end
I thought it was lego but it was knex so if that counts I'm pretty sure it was a Mario kart toad car
I'm pretty sure mine was good ol 7474. I still have the raptor :)

Lego 6362 legoland post office waaaaaaay back in the day
I don’t remember my very first, but when I got back to LEGO after years of hiatus, my first set then was 75269 Duel on Mustafar
6009.. I know someone knows
