In general though, the normal version is the better one for farming since I believe once you claim the weekly rewards, the bp points you get from both the normal and hard versions are the same - at least, that's how it was for MD2/MD2H.
Setting aside the fact that MD2 is permanently closed and MD3 is about to start, MD2. MD2H just lets you complete all your weekly bonuses in a single run, and gets you some extra manager experience. If you want to grind manager experience to farm shards, MD2 is fine.
