4. In terms of id, prioritize for which sinner you don't have a 3star for to stabilize, or go for anything u like that fits your build/theorycrafting
The only hp heal you'll ever need, decent AOE damage, good SP recovery against gimmick enemy/bosses that lower your sp, or simply to recover from using egos
It's an AoE ego attack that heals HP and SP, and then on a heads hit, heals more SP (uptie 4). It's great for both chipping away the enemy team's health while stabilizing your own team. Healing effects are quite valuable in drawn out fights (like bosses) or continuous stages (like mirror dungeons or the railway).
That is the reason it is so powerful.
Outside of EGO Gifts and other EGO, healing is rare. (And group healing especially.). Fluid sac heals 15% of max HP on ALL allies, including Faust, and heals 15 SP for ALL ALLIES, again including Faust, and an extra 10 SP on heads hit.
This means that Faust can actually make a profit on SP if she hits heads, since it costs 20 SP.
The EGO passive also gives protection to the lowest HP ally every turn.
People will probably tell you exactly what the EGO does but *why* it's good is because this game's system for "accuracy" is tied to sanity. Any fight that starts with you at 0 sanity but lets you start with sin resources you can skip the awkward 50/50 head/tails roll period of the fight by using Fluid Sac. There are other sanity healing EGOs like Heath's Sunyata, Ish's Fluid Sac, and Faust's base EGO, Fluid Sac's effect healing everyone makes it stand out as the best at the role. It even makes other EGOs easier to use.
Do you really need it? Probably not for story content? But it sure does make things easier
You never know what the storys gona throw at ya... especially after fighting the god damn pequod trio and even minus the recent canto there was dongbaek who drains sanity like a fucking maniac. So its very highly recommended for the story too.
It's the best healing EGO in the game - the only one that rivals it is Meur's Pursuance , and that doesn't target the Salt man himself so you want to pair his with FS tom maximize healing. The fact it also heals SP is a great boon too - combine it with RE and you can get your Team's SP up in a snap after a Story Mirror Dungeon Checkpoint zeroes it out.
He hasn't completely fallen off because 3 fragile and high rolls with good offense level on quick suppression is still insane for speed clears, but he like n clair arent the top of the top anymore due to things like new options and the raise of status teams via more actually useable units and the new MD favouring status teams.
Get the one that fits with your strat, like if you are ready to use Blade Linage IDs, Peaquod Ids and Pirate Gregor is good addition. Don’t forget to uptie 3 them at least. (DO NOT exchange if you don’t have enough threads to uptie them) they matches the required sin to activate passives and status effect buff.
From season 3:
IDs priority -
1. Pequod Heath (good tank/resonance unit)
2. Twin Hooks Greg (strongest offensive ID for Greg)
3. Pequod Ish (good resonance unit, acts as support/pride resonance enabler)
4. BL Meur/Faust (You need built BL team so these two and BL Yisang + BL Don for a functional team. Only recommended if you can UT4 all of em)

1. Holiday Outis (SP Regen + resonance mech + tremor burst may be useful for future tremor units)
2. Holiday Heath (Foxcliff or if you like 2 AOE Zayn I guess)
3. Garden of Thorns Greg (he exists I guess)
From standard (There's way too many to consider, so I'll name top 5 ID & EGO, at least imo if trying to bolster account:

2. W Don (strong DPS, even better with telepole)
3. R corp Heath (strong DPS, can lose dmg if you run out of ammo, but fights rarely take that long in this game at all)

Explanation for rankings:
1. Fluid Sac way too useful for every game mode in LC, AOE heal on hp/SP + blunt damage is crazy
2. Rime Shank rolls up to 30, is only teth to uptime less expensive, and makes enemies explode, especially if you have spicebush Yisang.
3. Fourth Match Flame rolls base 21 to max 37. One of higher rolling EGOs when you really need it, with AOE of 3. Only HE, compared to WAW egos means cheaper uptie
4. Sunshower is giga AOE of 7 with lots of buffs on team and even refunds if you roll heads. Will be useful in crowded fights or when you need Pierce DMG to slap. WAW are expensive both to uptie and use, so you might wanna wait till can fully afford this one. May consider if lacking Blind Obsession.
5. Ardor Blossom Ishmael rolls up 41 and has 3 AOE. It plays into burn comps, but v strong as general EGO too. HE ego is cheaper to uptie, may want to consider if lacking Blind Obsession.
to add to this comment since its so comprehensive:
- Pequod Heath is a great ID, but constantly competes his team spot with R-Heath, which is standard and can be sharded at any time. Consider sharding Twin Hooks Greg first for a strong offensive ID for Greg.
- BL Meur & BL Faust are both event IDs, so they will not be available for 3 months. However, as GloomyPocky said above, pretty hard to make work outside of BL team.
- Something to point out is BL Meur is his strongest ID he has gotten for favorable clashing. However, the unit itself is just above average if you disregard his buffs to BL teams compared to some of the other stuff you could be sharding.
- Holiday Outis is actually pretty decent on Burn teams as an SP recovery tool, but does require morphing the team a bit to carry more Envy resources.
- Garden of Thorns Greg does not have a team he fits on in normal play, but is remarkably strong as a low uptie AoE EGO for the mirror dungeon as its main effects are unconditional even at UT1. I still cannot recommend it though, since its use case is so niche.
Dispense any and all Season 3 IDs and EGOs, since you won't be able to dispense them next season and will only be able to get them from pulling on extractions. Especially aim for the Holiday Outis EGO, Blade Lineage Mentor Meursault, Blade Lineage Salsu Faust, and Kurokumo Clan Captain Gregor, since you won't be able to extract nor dispense those until Season 5.
I'd say to get Meursault and Faust and skip Holiday Outis and Gregor if you don't have the shards for them.
If you don't care about the event IDs and EGOs above, Garden of Thorns Gregor, The Middle Little Sister Don Quixote, The Pequod Harpooneer Heathcliff, The Pequod Captain Ishmael, Twinhook Pirates First Mate Gregor, The Pequod First Mate Yi Sang, LCCB Assistant Manager Ryoshu, and The Middle Little Brother Meursault are next to consider, since they will not be dispensable next league.
For these, I'd say Captain Ishmael, Pequod Heathcliff, Pequod Yi Sang, and Middle Don are your priorities, in that order, while the others are skippable if you can't afford them.
Anything else you'll be able to pick up next season easily once you get more crates, so no rush since only half of your current crates/shards will be turned into threads when the season ends.
From season exclusive stuff (anything else you can just dispense later so its lower priority unless you really need it):
- Pequod Ishmael is a very good burn/pierce team buffer. If you play any of these, get her
- BL Meursault is the best Meursault ID. If you plan to use him, get it. Additionally,it buffs BL line of poise by a TON.
- BL Faust is a decent enough unit, shining the most in a BL team with Meursault. If you want to use Poise, get her, otherwise, not a big deal
Yeah after carefully considering it, and reading y'all comments, Prequod seems like a perfect choice. I use a Liu Team with NClair and MB Outis a lot so it works great for me.
You just need any resonance for her S2 to proc assist attack. While not exactly the biggest burn generation on its own, it can be beneficial to run her for the fact that her coin values are way better than Non-Uptied IV Old Liu 00s, a rather hefty investment with questionable returns (as even at Uptie IV, Liu Gregor has 10/14/12 coin spread on his skills **with all conditions met**, which may be too low), as well as her Ardor Blossom EGO.
Additionally, with her passive on (which isn't that hard to do with 3/6 Pride Outis and 3/6 Pride Rodion, as well as Ishmael's own 2/6 Pride), every kill she gets allows her to gen burn too. While a harsh condition for most fights, with the introduction of wave fights in Canto V I'm expecting more of those, so its still a thing to be considered.
Obviously you would be better off with Liu Ishmael, but Yaptain of the Speakuod is still a decent consideration for a burn team, especially to someone who seems to be a new player and doesn't have resources to uptie IV 00s, or resources to get both Liu and Yaptain Ish.
Prioritise season 3 IDs as you won't be able to dispense them next season. Pequod Ish is both really strong and really fun to play so I'd defo recommend her.
Peaqcliff, captain ishmael, blsault and blfaust. Rime shank you can get next season. Those 4 you can't. To that team add bl don and bl yi sang, and next season start working on ut4 all of them
For mirror dungeon a good bleed build is the best with wound clerid, so the Pequed trio, Pirate Gregor, Kurokuma Ryoshu, and BL Faust.
For non-gift content, BL team is the best, so go for those (especially Meaursault and Don)
Otherwise, get the stuff from this season if you like you’re build, otherwise you’ll have to wait for season 5 to get t them.
