It must be somewhat miserable being a big creator and wanting to start getting into new stuff, in any hobby or community I've ever entered I've never had to worry about the "communities first impression" that they'd give me, I knew PM games were hard and that's it but having someone breathing down your neck telling you you're playing wrong has to be incredibly disheartening

I don't really see why this has become such a big thing honestly. The backseaters are gonna backseat anyways. These little posts aren't gonna deter them. Like what is a normal person to do in response to these posts? Not do the thing they already weren't gonna do?
Besides, streamers have moderators for a reason. Anyone being explicitly annoying or disruptive will just get banned or timed out or whatever. That's what they're there for, after all.
I have full confidence that any streamer big enough to be renowned has the tools necessary to combat this kinda of minor "toxicity" if you could even really call it that. These Fandom wide notices to not do the thing you already weren't gonna do are completely unnecessary, in my eyes.

However, it's also on the streamer to communicate their desired amount of backseating or input. I've been watching a lot of stuff lately, and if you put your foot down, but also let people know that they're not an enemy of the stream, it can work. (Thanks day9).
It wasnt that bad =D, it was even nice, he liked the game.
Though the one part chat was a bit overbearing was when they were pretty adamant to have a bongbong, but even after that, he had fun with it by having naming the first one bingbing instead and then having two other bongbong clones called boongboong and bungbung
It was a good stream and though he was confused at the start and chat was a bit too much sometimes, chat only really *backseated* when scott asked them to.
