Couldn't help but draw parallels between Heath and Asgore on the whole "doomed love across dimensions + intense self loathing" thing, so that's what lead us here.

I think everyone can agree that Don is Papyrus and Ishmael is Undyne (not just because of the harpoon, Undyne was so obsessed into fighting you that she dried out.). But who is Sans? Maybe Dante?
But Dante has space time shenanigans, has meta involvement (last canto), seems reallly goofy but very serious in reality, has a powerful ability but a paper thin defense.
Vergilius has no similarity with Sans except being OP. I think Asriel is closer to Vergilius. Also very OP, really mean but a soft heart behind it, a tragic past that had him close his heart, somebody very close who lost its soul

Sans is Vergilius because he's OP compared to everyone else and only gets involved if shit really hits the fan.
