Not that I necessarily disagree with this, but you kind of have to put it into context too. If you're keeping a loaded firearm inside a hoodie pocket in a casual setting, then yea, you might be a dumbass redneck.
Licensing - permit - registration - payment schemes of any sort are unconstitutional.
The Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights within The United States Constitution reads:
“A well regulated Militia, being neccesary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
The 2nd Amendment in The Bill of Rights to our US Constitution, GUARANTEES every person has a RIGHT TO KEEP (have) AND BEAR (carry) ARMS.
Other wording in 2A “Militia” any able bodied male, service in a Militia is NOT a requirement, it is an Individual right (and collective), “Regulated” means equipped, in proper working order NOT gov rules “Shall not be infringed” means what it says.
14th Amendment guarantees equality!
The right to keep and bear arms was not given to us by the government, rather it is a pre-existing right of “the people” affirmed in The Bill of Rights.
See DC v Heller, McDonald v Chicago, Caetano v Mass, NYSRPA v Bruen
Nunn vs Georgia 1846 was the first ruling regarding the second amendment post its ratification in 1791….DC v Heller 2008, McDonald v Chicago 2010, Caetano v Mass 2016, NYSRPA v Bruen 2022 ALL consistent with the TEXT of the second amendment. Illuminated by HISTORY and TRADITION.
So that was never my point. If we followed your logic there would never be an illegal gun. You’re ok with drug dealers, violent ex cons etc carrying and having legitimate weapons? Cmon. My point was that it seemed from the article these were illegal weapons. I’m still not sure though.
If someone is violent and a danger to society they should be locked up, dis-arming people only gives criminals and shyster power hungry politicians all the power.

Constitution also say we have right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness, yet if killing someone makes me happy my liberty is taken away. So shove those bear arms up your ass.
Pretty sure it’s the Declaration of Independence that says those things but the 2nd amendment and people who go through the legal process to own guns never made it legal to kill someone’s because it makes you happy. Even if you choose not to exercise your right to keep and bare arms, why would you voluntarily give it up? You wouldn’t want to give up your right to vote just because you chose not to, right? Also, please don’t tell me voting doesn’t kill people. It’s absolutely does, depending on who gets in and the policies they enact.
My mom grew up in the Lakeview section of town and even in the uproar of the 60s-80s it was a middle class, working minority majority neighborhood. Everytime I would visit gran I had no qualms about safety vs other relatives in Queens.
I didn’t want them to black. I really didn’t. I had hoped they were white. But then I looked. Black. It’s not even the gun thing that made me curious. It’s Kevin and Devin. Why? Stop doing that. No wonder these boys grew up angry.
the fact that their names kevin, kevin, and devin is... something!
Kevin, Kevin, and Devin, the gun-toting brethren.

Back to you Evan
Love this comment so much 🤣
Shots fired: four less than seven…

I just picture a big bellied boomer with American flag tats packing heat thinking he’s some kind of badass and putting a hole in his bloated belly.
Probably not the case.
Yeah at 56, he's GenX
I’ve seen 56 year old boomers. It’s the attitude.
Not that section of town.
Probably is.
That’s not the neighborhood for it.
How many hints do you have to give 😂
Not sure but people really want to stereotype anyone with a gun to be some fat white redneck
Not that I necessarily disagree with this, but you kind of have to put it into context too. If you're keeping a loaded firearm inside a hoodie pocket in a casual setting, then yea, you might be a dumbass redneck.
MIGHT BE, is an option. Do fat boomer red necks often wear hoodies? If you know the area, it is HIGHLY unlikely.
This part of RVC is basically a mini-PJ. Far more likely they're black than white trash.
There is so much more I want to know. What led to them menacing people with guns in the first place?
Guys with small dicks and embarrassed about it encountering people with confidence
Probably cuz they felt disrespected.
They purchased a solution and were searching for a problem. Typical gun owner mentality.
It's long island. This isn't surprising.
Not naming your kids Kevin and Devin.
This is the part of RVC no one really speaks of. It’s not the same as other parts of the town.

West of centre Ave, near peninsula .
Careful you might shatter the idea of their Irish catholic Trump sanctuary with amazing schools.
Kevin and Devin, so creative.
Sounds like these guys weren’t licensed and background checked gun owners, lol

Easier said than done when it comes to locking up violent and dangerous people especially if they have a mental illness…
Not true! People with lengthy rap sheets, are being released ror!
So reasonable 🙄.
Research democide as to why 2A is so important in our Bill of Rights. Historically power hungry shyster politicians turn tyrant!

Terrible night for the Coopers. 🥴
Anyone know if they had ccw permits?
Based on the charges they didn’t.

I don’t even like guns! That said 2A is super important in case a shyster power hungry politician goes tyrant mode.
Idc how many of us have guns it wont matter vs the govt

My arms are never bare, always covered, too cold to bare arms where I live.
But if you bear arms you gotta watch out for the claws
Lol can’t argue with that
This brings the term dysfunctional family to another level
It’s their culture
Who’s culture?
He had a g*n in his SWEATER pocket? This is a hot mess.
Stupid fucking gun handling. Jesus Christ
Where they licensed owners or possessed illegally?
3 charges of criminal possession suggests that they did not have their permits or ccw’s, or were carrying in a sensitive location.
Once again, New York has the most stringent gun laws against illegal possession but seems like criminals don’t abide by any laws.
Human filth.
Anyone have the mugshot? Interesting how there’s no photos of Kevin cooper out there yet.
Why?
This whole thing is a chaotic mess 😑

This is so confusing. In RVC?? Lmaoo
Hmmmm I wonder if anyone was drinking

She’s 50, why did this 34 year old guy feel that threatened?
Nassau county is becoming queens and brooklyn.
