I’d say no that’s not too bad for Franklin Square.

Frumplefugly

agree

Scambuster666

Just make sure it’s not a scam. Make sure you can go and look at the place with actual people talking to you and meeting you there and not just talking to someone over emails because they’re “out of the country”

Productpusher

People here frantically searching for that listing to steal it from you . Act fast

Enchanted-Epic

Found the landlord that posted it

ihatehavingauterus

That's actually not bad at all.

Successful_Egg5268

Very cheap as sick as that sounds but its true

Always-Confused-1

Really? Is it that bad out here?

DowntownYorickBrown

Yes it’s that bad out there. This is a great deal for FSQ imo.

DemonDevilDog

If you have on street parking, that might suck. Lived in Franklin square for 11 years in an apartment and there was no where to park. Had to park a block or two away sometimes. I would definitely look into the parking situation.

tish22

Great price for what’s included and # of bedroom. Do you have parking available

Always-Confused-1

Yes they said there’s usually parking available in the front. Worst case scenario park a house or two down.

danram207

My friend is paying just a little less for a very similar set up in Valley Stream. I’d say that’s about right

IAMTHEONLYRICK

Right now, that's the best you are gonna get. How many bedrooms ?

Always-Confused-1

2 bed rooms. Pretty big kitchen. Also has a dining room.

IAMTHEONLYRICK

What a deal. That's incredible

V0T0N

All utilities? Heat, electric and water? That's not a bad deal at all.

Always-Confused-1

Yes all utilities

EverSeeAShiterFly

That could actually be a good deal.

RejectorPharm

Pretty good for Franklin Square.  I was paying $2200 without utilties (came out to about $3200 a month when accounting for electric and oil) for a first floor of a Levitt house in Hicksville.

Fayjaimike

$1000/month for utilities?? Holy moly. I pay around $450/month for a house (electric, gas, and water)

RejectorPharm

Electric during the winter was around $350 a month (also includes recharging my Tesla daily) but during summer with the ACs, it would go up to $600 a month. Oil was a bitch in the winter, around $1000 every 6 weeks in the winter and never had to refill oil during the summer.

Fayjaimike

Ahh damn, that is crazy high.

furie1335

Below average

kmstewart68

Good price!

Titus_Natch

I’d say that’s more than my mortgage.

subsetsum

More than mine too but so??? What about utilities? Seems like a decent deal.

Titus_Natch

So offer a switch. Let OP take over your home and mortgage payments and you make the move to the apartment. I mean besides utilities are included.

sweetligrl23

I rented a 2bd house (minus a basement apt) in F Sq 9 years ago for $1800. It included all but cable. We had use of the yard and driveway which was great because street parking was terrible. Neighborhood is nice but lots of houses with apts which leads to lots of street parking. House was on Lincoln for reference. Sad how much rents have increased.

CryptoCrazyCat

Great deal. Jump on it!

sexystranger31

About to what I pay and sounds exactly like my apartment (close by but not in FS)

visualcharm

For 2 beds? Sounds like a good value.

Alexandratta

...Where do y'all work where you can actually afford rent over 2k a month? I'm genuinely curious. Am I just getting screwed by my employer? Like... How? How does anyone afford that?!

podoka

Right lol

_fixmenow

Nope, that’s a steal especially if electric is included!

Moonriver7352

Good deal!

niagaemoc

Nope, with utilities includes it's a deal.

Enchanted-Epic

Not really. I was paying 2100+ utilities for a 2bdrm 2nd floor in Elmont 5 years ago

Shzake

igomhn3

"Elmont"

Enchanted-Epic

I don’t understand.
