I don't think Glavier's animation would fit a class with a scythe fantasy aesthetically. That's just my opinion ofc. First thing my mind goes to is FF14 Reaper.

Scouter is a name that makes more sense than Lance Master or Reaper, considering it has drones that scout. Unfortunate that It's name has been changed to Machinist, which I think everyone agrees that name isn't as cool or at least as ear catching.
Machinist may sound like a better name change than Glaivier, but it's very hard for me to pretend it sounds better than Scouter. Honestly the word "Scouter" may not even be refering to the act of scouting, my theory is that the visor Scouter wears is actually a scouter from DBZ

Literally, the only reason i rolled a shadowhunter as a main was because they are the only ones that get Scythe skins (of the playable classes at launch. Glavier also gets one).

I was surprised Reaper in this game uses small knives instead of a scythe like in XIV. Reaper is obviously from the word Grim Reaper and Grim Reapers are known for their scythe to reap the souls from the dead. Lost Ark is doing it wrong.

The blue stance has a glaive which has mostly swinging motions. The red stance is a spear which has the stabbing.

All Glaivier weapons and weapon skins have two forms, the glaive and the spear, and it transforms with the swapping of stances.

Inspired by the recent "Glaiver" class they could go out on a limb and name it "Scyther" which I'm sure people would absolutely love.
The one black knight that was dual wielding swords was fucking sick too, would love to have it as an option as well.
