I'm sad that this is AI but I have to admit that I like it. However a human creator would have made the birds as eagles instead of.. Hogwarts owls? Or something else?
I also need shirtless Sam to be a little bit more like Samwise in the face, and I'd like the ring on Gandalf's finger to really look like Narya, and this could be a print my dumbass would buy
İ think humanity in general should leave art creation to humans. Even if it is worse. I'm not sure our species should seek to automate every aspect of humanity....call me old fashioned
People are hating because they're going to have to go back to serving coffee when their graphic design career gets swooped out by prompts in a year. Rofl.
Sylvester Stallone is Frodo Baggins
Dolph Lundgren is Samwise Gamgee
Mel Gibson is Gandalf the White
Tom Selleck is Aragorn
Natalie Portman is Arwen
Michael Meyers and Dana Carvey are Pippin and Merry Took
With Ian Holm reprising his role as "scary Bilbo"
Because it's not going anywhere, no one can stop progress. I know this is a negative Karma farm here on Reddit, since most people don't like when someone takes them from their echo chamber, but if you don't like it, you should try to get regulamentation, instead of just wanting it stopped or banned, or just pretend like it doesn't exist.
To add, demanding memes should be OC goes against the very nature of memes, and the whole backlash here is completely hypocritical. "You should steal art directly instead of indirectly!" is just so ridiculous.
No, my attitude is don't be dumb and try to smash my head against a wall. People didn't want machines replacing manual labor. People didn't trust computers. Try to get people to pass laws if you want it, but don't try to get in the way of progress. Or keep doing it, I'm sure it will work this time.
Lol photoshop is still not art. It’s just copy pasting someone else’s work. If u r gonna complain about AI u should complain about photoshopping too. Not everyone has the talent to draw and if OP did draw something it’d b subpar and you’ll criticize it. And the last who can possibly afford a commission especially when it’s just a meme. Get over it. As long as it’s for fun AI art is ok
I'm confused, people seem to have a viseral dislike of what I posted because I used AI. I'm confused why everyone dislikes it, is it just because it was easy to make? I don't think I'm ruining anyone's job making AI images.
It's because AI image generators, by their very nature, steal from other people's art by taking bits and pieces and then cobbling them together into new images using pattern recognition models. It's not "creating" anything and it just steals from actual artists. People are upset because of the inherent theft involved in the process.
The very basic principle of memes is stealing and copying someone elses work/art. Since this post is not supposed to be art, I think it's fine. That does not mean, that every AI post is ok. This sub would be unbearable, if it was flooded with similar AI posts.
But this post is not even bad AI stuff. Someone put effort into (or got lucky with) the AI engine to create presentable output.
Lol ikr. It’s literally ridiculous how mad everyone is for a regular person to use a machine to generate a fun image. What jobs r u even taking??? Like it or not being an artist is 90% talent and 10% hard work. They have an innate talent for it that is honed with practice. The common man will never reach an acceptable level of drawing so let him have fun. Face it if these haters r the same ones that would praise AI if it rewrote ROP and wouldn’t be complaining. Like it or not AI is here to stay til the day we have a skynet situation. But until then we can have our fun with it

Why are you sad this is AI? Sadly I'm not skilled enough to make a human version of this.

> *Somehow … Sauron returned*
Who is the maker of mightiest work?
Not Disney, that's for damn sure.
Some ai trash

Time. The answer is time. (clears his throat) Actually, it wasn't that hard.
Can we get a rule against AI art please?
Why? I thought it was a funny image to share. Does everyone hate it because it wasn't funny or just because it was made with AI?
I can't speak for everyone else but I just don't find it funny.
I think it's funny. Don't listen to these self righteous snobs.
Nah, it's here to stay, soon you won't be able to tell the difference anyway.
Why should we accept that knowing full well it’s unethical

So your attitude is “Bend over and take it?” Just let people do whatever they want?

Straight Outta Hobbiton
"Gandalf the Gray. That was my name. I am Gandalf the Red, White and Blue." *More electric guitar shreds*
AI art is not art
Machines can't replace manual workers
Then why did ya just call it art?
Pedant
Someone learned a new word today. :)
No it is simply what you are, it’s a common word in my mother language.
Insulting people on reddit is cringe.
If you take that as an insult, that’s on you bud. It objectively isn’t.
Very cringe.
Of the two of you, I'm definitely cringing at you more.
Cringiest
Ok.
Ew, AI trash. Learn how to use photoshop, pick up a pencil once in your life, or commission someone to draw it for you.

That looks more like Harry Potter (+Dumbledore +Ron +Owls) than Lotr. That probably means, that there is more HP-fanart than there is Lotr-fanart.
This sub is flooded with AI crap now.

This is not taking artists jobs it is a stupid shitpost. Your not trying to pass it of as real so idk what's wrong here.

What percentage of memes would you say are OC artwork? How many include credits for where any images used come from?

Ai generated trash
NGL would 10/10 watch
AI is trash
This is great 😅
It’s not
Well I respectfully disagree. I find it funny, and I'm not sorry you don't appreciate humor.
