On E Gorham, heard a massive blast/flash and lost power right away. Though I can see apartments from our window that still have power

I reported it at our address right away! I looked on our block and it’s like half the block that is out. A few streetlights too

Hahaha idk if we’re on the same block of Gorham but did you also just hear another loud bang

SomeBumblebee7539

I had my back patio door open facing Gotham and the blast was extremely loud and I saw a blue flash out of the corner of my eye. Startled the hell out of me

-DoctorEngineer-

Pretty confident the lightning rod at the hospital

neko

Maybe mendota, it's sure northeast of all the other hospitals

DontUpvoteThisBut

A lightning rod was struck

PapaJon6904

I live on E Gorham and I heard a huge bang too. The apartment right next to me has no power but I still do

neko

It looked towards state st, I'm assuming that church too

LegitimateChicken69

I just woke up cos of it. It sounded more like a canon blast if anything, I was so confused

sierramistgirl

Just off Gorham heard a Loud bang and my power flickered but I couldn’t see anything that would cause that

zoppytops

Transformer blew on the corner of east Mifflin and Brearly

They do seem to prioritize the downtown. I don't know if it's on purpose, or not. It's relatively easy to get to most of the power poles and transformers downtown and fixing just one tends to restore power to lots of homes all at once.

zoppytops

I honestly don’t know. Our power flickered out but has been on since. I think it was a lightning strike or overload somewhere else on the system that caused the electrical fault here

CancelThis558

I heard it on e Johnson by James Madison but our power didn’t go out
