Russian Mowgli, probably there is a difficult psychological atmosphere there, terrible parents who drink alcohol and it’s better to run outside and live with a pack of dogs

iloveblankpaper

just like China, the UK and the US of A

Curryflurryhurry

Yes, you read a lot of stories about children running away from abusive homes to live with dogs in the UK And by a lot I mean none, ever. This is a very Russian story.

nobiwolf

With the amount of dogs that the police shoot, any potential wild child probably gonna get one in the dome way before they managed to do this.

findMyNudesSomewhere

>Yes, you read a lot of stories about children running away from abusive homes Dunno about UK. USA does have this part commonly though.

CaptainKrunks

So show me some of the many examples you must know.

LNhart

Yes, really one of the common US stories, kids running away to live with dogs, you hear those all the time

findMyNudesSomewhere

Reading comprehension problems? Read my comment again.

iloveblankpaper

a very slight variation of the phrase is typically used to say kids ran away from home. kids tend to live with dogs, and kids tend to run from home, and there are few reported cases where both happen not having a value for ( A ∩ B ) does not mean S = 0, dickhead

DancingPotato30

Dont call people dickheads for making fun of your point. We dont ever go off on personal insults, thats not the proper manners for discussion. You mention few reported cases where both happen to the same indiviual. Well, where did you see these?

iloveblankpaper

not having a value for ( A ∩ B ) does not mean S = 0

DancingPotato30

Yeah.. But if we assume probability of having an abusive family as A and probability of living with a pack of wild animals as B then youre wrong If these arent what you mean by A and B, then please enlighten us so we understand where your logic comes from.

iloveblankpaper

what you happen to be doing is saying "children in other countries dont run away with packs of dogs" when i said "children in other countries are increasingly running from home", and then proceed to ignore my point, hence denial of the entire sample space.

DancingPotato30

You failed to make it clear thats your point then. And i say its a failure on your end rather than a failure of my understanding because of the downvotes youre getting Your point came across as "Kids run away from home. Kids live with packs of wild animals. So its definitely clear that both happened to the same time" Then proceeded to say that its okay if they dont happen in the same time, that still doesnt mean they dont happen??

iloveblankpaper

i have no responsibility for making up for your lack of reading comprehension. learn to read

DancingPotato30

And youre back to insults. Alright then, good talk.

No_Wallaby_9646

I would argue that, at least in the UK, people are more inclined to stay at home even in uncomfortable situations due to the cost of living crisis and the ostracising of the general public towards each other

HoneyAccurat

Maybe cruelty and alcoholism are associated with a not very good political and economic situation, when something is missing, relationships between people become tense.

Alkakd0nfsg9g

90s in Russia were not for beginners

Extreme-Secretary-20

I feel sorry for his childhood, but he is alright and that is what makes me feel a little tear in my eye

Life_Researcher_2717

guy was raised by wolves, nice

Kintsugiera

Christ sounds like an anime character

FluffyRabbit36

Bro is a real life main character

CalebthePianist

Doofenschmirtz lore

NoFrostingNo

For everyone calling bullshit on this, it's true. There was even a play written about it, called "Ivan and the dogs." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivan_Mishukov

Im_an_arsonist224

hope he took care of them dogs until they died

_KingOfTheDivan

Surely he did that as an 8 year old boy

Im_an_arsonist224

well yeah but it'd be nice if he still went to see them and all, if they were still alive that is cuz dogs live 10 to 14 yrs :,)

boywithlego31

When he becomes a dad or guardian, he will have crazy stories to tell.

Vidio_thelocalfreak

Very Russian of them to take him to the military right after capture. Saddest thing is that this was probably for the best since russia doesn't offer much alternatives.

Betadzen

>take him to the military ...unless they started applying children about 20 years ago, the military could not have got him. Also orphanages exist. >for the best That fella had to serve a year in the military (it is an obligation) and was free to leave, unless he signed a contract. All of that at the ripe age of 18+. >doesn't offer much alternatives I got 0.5 of medical and 1 of engineering higher education for free. There are a lot of opportunities thanks to non-privatised essential services (like healthcare and education).

Vidio_thelocalfreak

My mistakes. The situation shown in the picture's text presents a rather bland depiction of essencial services without any elaboration that unfortunately fits well with many pre established stereotypical depictions of Russian governance (ergo: if aplicable use in the military)

alfazeroneko01

Speaks canine and russian

Adart54

Sounds like an average Russian no?

Disturbed235

No, normally they become Alpha in a pack of Bears

felixthemeister

More often roosters.

Fluffy_Somewhere4305

Also, none of this story has been verified and is most certainly a load of BS

ABCharlieD

So... bullshit, right? How could anyone ever believe this shit?

CreamIsaGoodBand

You know this is possible right? A rabid 4 year old is not so different from a street dog

Sagaincolours

Because it happened. I remember this story from back when it took place. Go google it.

Regunes

All that build up only to end up joining canon fodder incorporated

FlimzyMan

Did he finally meet his maker in ukraine?
