He had the creepy horror factor, the gross factor, the sass, the power, and the causal evil. But he also had a few more likable traits, such as his warrior spirit and his pride, likely from the Saiyan genes, that makes him more cool than Frieza and Buu.
Buu is just such a stupid endboss.
i would say cell he was a really interessing and great antagonist buu was kinda there for me and freezer was nice as a villain as a core but as been so overused all the time than i end up sick of this character (and all his power up who come out of nowhere don't help)
The Latin American dub voice actor enjoys playing the character SO much that he [cosplays as Frieza sometimes for events](https://youtu.be/lXreA6jy2BE?si=p8ke5N_UfQzSFlFr)
Boo just for the fact he stood on business. Man killed everyone on earth and then somehow went to heaven to kill them again. If that doesn't make him the biggest menace in DragonBall idk what does.
Majin Buu using magic and being an ancient demonic creature brought the manga closer to the classic Dragon Ball feeling so he is probably my favorite from the original series. That's not to say Cell and Frieza aren't great as well, I just like the weirdness of the Buu saga the most.
Frieza definitely.
Unpopular opinion: I dont really like CellΒ
neither in design (perfect form) or personality/character he didnt stood out to me that much. I liked him better in his first and second form.Β
Really liked Fat Bu and Kid Bu also XD
Cell was the most interesting and had the most believable reason for tossing the Z fighters shit through 2 arcs. He wasn't just strong to be strong and required alot of thinking to enact his often on the fly plans. By the end it made story sense that he was still around rather than what we saw with Buu.
Frieza was the best in the original, but Cell was the best in the TFS abridged series. in fact I think TFS abridged Cell is one of the best villain/character in fiction. Perfect (no pun intended) balance of fear and laughs.
Cell hands down, although buu and frieza are both great villains I find them to be a bit too stereotypical in their evil. Buu is the standard βdestroy everything just for the hell of itβ type of villain and frieza is a typical tyrant that you see in many stories. Still hype af as villains but cell was a breath of fresh air for me
Frieza was awful. Cool design but the most boring uninteresting villain that massively overstayed his welcome with how drawn out that fight was. I still remember when I was reading the manga and was so relieved when Frieza died and we could finally move on, then mecha Frieza showed up and I just audibly groaned in frustration and just walked away from the manga for almost a week (thankfully he didnβt stay around long after that but still)
Cell was cool and to me was probably one of the more interesting villains of the series. I loved the blend of menacing bravado.
However my favorite is easily Buu. To me the Buu arc was the pinnacle of late dragonball. It took the sillyness and humor of early dragonball back before it started shifting away from itβs initial direction and blended it with the action style of the later arcs. To me the Buu arc is more what I wish later dragonball had been. Toriyama to me was at his best when he just let things by silly and goofy and didnβt take things too seriously and that arc to me felt like Toriyama really returned to that without fully abandoning what the series had become.
In terms of fun, Frieza > Buu > Cell.
I like Evil Buu but don't like Kid Buu that much, Fat Buu however is a very fun and entertaining character, Frieza is just endless entertainment, Cell lacks in character after he goes perfect, but pretty much has the best design considering how unique it is, Meruem is the only character that reminds me of him. But i do like the Cell saga more than Buu.
Honestly, I loved Cell's personality, Frieza's cruelty, and prince attitude.
Buu, however, actually scared me. Like each form had a reason to concern me. Don't get me wrong Cell body horror was one thing. Though seeing a magic blob do what he did, really left me reeling.
personally freeza, although cell was also pretty good
boo was meh in regards to the other 2. like i can remember cell and freeza, but cant rly say anthing about evil boo other that he was strong
Really can't choose because they all brought their own flair.
I'm actually currently reading DBZ again and I'm permanently blown away how awesome the art looks (especially after reading more modern mangas).
In the future, When submitting a post that is visual based content that include cover art, manga page/panel rips, fan-art, or just a post in general whose main content is to be visually appealing, please be sure to type the the **[Art] tag along with the full name of the series in the title of the post** when initially submitting it.
>[Art] Title of Choice (Series Name)
People are not inherently able to identify a series by a panel or page so it makes it difficult for any new readers to try the series if they don't know what it is. That is why it is important to add the title of the series, so please follow the rules and submission guideline next time.
In addition, don't use an initialism or shorthand in place of including the title as these aren't inherently understood by every new reader either. The Reddit Character Limit for titles is quite large so there isn't much excuse to not including the series title in the title of the post.
For posts including four or more series used in the image, the Original Poster is required to source them all as a comment within **Five** minutes of posting.

Cell had the most style, hands down
He did it his way.
Yes, I agree, friend ββπ
It couldn't be more correct.
Cell had the best theme song and was just the all-in-all coolest imo. Most satisfying conclusion as well imo.
Yes, Cell is really a great character, a kind of insect / cyborg....ββπ
Which makes (kinda) sense because he's made up of different DNA from different people, a good portion of those people being aliens!
>he's made up of **different DNA** They say, be afraid You're not like the others Futuristic lover Different DNA They don't understand you
π₯βοΈ
Yes, it is a collection of many different warriors scattered throughout the universe! ββπ
The universe? I thought it was just earth? (EDIT: Nvm, i understood what you meant. π )
Yes, aliens living on Earth...like Saiyan, Namek.....ββπ
Are you thinking of the Japanese or American theme? Or any other country's theme?
Yes.
i would say cell he was a really interessing and great antagonist buu was kinda there for me and freezer was nice as a villain as a core but as been so overused all the time than i end up sick of this character (and all his power up who come out of nowhere don't help)
Ok, I like Freezer but only his latest transformation ββπ
Frieza. Is cooler
No, heβs frieza.
> Frieza His voice in the Brazilian dub is super deep. he's kinda scary and cool.
The Latin American dub voice actor enjoys playing the character SO much that he [cosplays as Frieza sometimes for events](https://youtu.be/lXreA6jy2BE?si=p8ke5N_UfQzSFlFr)
This is hilarious!!
Bro have you seen the Portuguese cell dub, straight up a demon. Also Vegeta's laugh is hilarious https://youtu.be/O4Gq2NxTvak?si=gubYfLRcg1Tp2O9h
Jesus fuck...
Great Bro ββπ
And cooler is freezer
Frieza has a more interesting personality, but Cell has a better design.
Absolutely agree ββπ
Boo just for the fact he stood on business. Man killed everyone on earth and then somehow went to heaven to kill them again. If that doesn't make him the biggest menace in DragonBall idk what does.
Well....yes, right reasoning...ββπ
Majin Buu using magic and being an ancient demonic creature brought the manga closer to the classic Dragon Ball feeling so he is probably my favorite from the original series. That's not to say Cell and Frieza aren't great as well, I just like the weirdness of the Buu saga the most.
Yes, Majin Buu is truly incredible in all the various mutations he has had, even fat is fantastic! ββπ
Frieza by a mile
Ok, thanks Bro ββ
This is Pilaf erasure
I prefer Super Buu. I like the design and his character and also what it would feel like to have his horn up my ass
Aaaaaahhh.....ok..... excellent ββπ€
I'm kinda biased, when I was a kid bhuu looks the coolest for me when he absorbed gohan, gotens, etc frieza comes to 2nd place, cell is last
Ok, thanks friend ββ
Cell is hands down the best
For sure ββπ
Frieza is epic, while Cell is probably the most charismatic DBZ villain ever
Ok, perfect Bro πββ
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]
Absolutely true ββπ
pun\* :)
Cell for sure. Perfect cell had me spooked growing up. His ost is fire as well. His lordship freiza would be second for me.
Yes, it was scary, even before absorbing the two cyborgs! ββπ±
Loved all of them but Buu takes the cake. Jovial af...if you didn't know better lol
Leave me a slice of cake..... thank you ββπ
Frieza definitely. Unpopular opinion: I dont really like CellΒ neither in design (perfect form) or personality/character he didnt stood out to me that much. I liked him better in his first and second form.Β Really liked Fat Bu and Kid Bu also XD
After watching DBZ Kai and seeing Golden Frieza I think I'd pick him over Cell.
Ok, I understand ββπ
Freezer
Ok, right ββπ
Cell for sure
Great answer ββπ
Am I the only one who liked Buuβs second form? I really wish he stayed that way, especially after he got the vest
Buu's second form is the best for me ββππ
[Cell because of this particular moment from the FGC](https://youtu.be/T9WjdTxCVHY?t=79)
Great choice Bro ββπ
All great villain is balled.
In what sense ...? ββπ€
Almost all villain are either really hary or bald
Bald!?? Well, the villains are often violent but they are also important to make the story interesting.....ββπ
Cell for sure.
Excellent ββπ
Always love that fat buu became a good guy. He's actually very strong all things considered.
Yes, Majin Buu in the first version was nice and playful.....then with Satan he was hilarious!! ππββ
Cell was the most interesting and had the most believable reason for tossing the Z fighters shit through 2 arcs. He wasn't just strong to be strong and required alot of thinking to enact his often on the fly plans. By the end it made story sense that he was still around rather than what we saw with Buu.
Kid buu was peak if that specific version didnβt exist I would of gone cell.
Great friend ββπ
Old DBZ Frieza no doubt, he was vicious and slimy and a fucking menace
Yep, it's awesome ββπ
Frieza was the best in the original, but Cell was the best in the TFS abridged series. in fact I think TFS abridged Cell is one of the best villain/character in fiction. Perfect (no pun intended) balance of fear and laughs.
Personality wise Frieza is the top Achievements wise it is Buu Design wise it is Perfect Cell.
Ok, perfect ββπ
Cell hands down, although buu and frieza are both great villains I find them to be a bit too stereotypical in their evil. Buu is the standard βdestroy everything just for the hell of itβ type of villain and frieza is a typical tyrant that you see in many stories. Ok, thanks Bro ββπ
amazing art
Thank you so much friend ββπ
Frieza the π, never been a fan of Cell.
Ok, I understand..ββπ

This is certainly an opinion Jesus

Yes, I agree with you ! But no one likes Majin buu ??ββπ€
Frieza and buu. I never watched the cell saga. I skipped it as a kid.
Okay. Too bad you haven't seen the Cell saga, he's a fantastic character! ββπ
Yea I should finally go back and watch it. I know some of what happens but the full story nope
Cell was...perfect
I liked Kid Buu, what an unhinged foe he was and completely ruthless, just like a kid killing bugs.
Out of those three...definitely Cell.
margin poo
Cell the goat. That shit with Gohan was sick and his theme song I still listen to when I'm working out
Honestly, I loved Cell's personality, Frieza's cruelty, and prince attitude. Buu, however, actually scared me. Like each form had a reason to concern me. Don't get me wrong Cell body horror was one thing. Though seeing a magic blob do what he did, really left me reeling.
Piccolo
frieza. he is a perfect example of villain imo. extreme arrogance, prideful and a sore loser.
Majin Buu but Cell is a close 2nd.
personally freeza, although cell was also pretty good boo was meh in regards to the other 2. like i can remember cell and freeza, but cant rly say anthing about evil boo other that he was strong
Black
Really can't choose because they all brought their own flair. I'm actually currently reading DBZ again and I'm permanently blown away how awesome the art looks (especially after reading more modern mangas).
