I don't particularly enjoy romance either.
The way I see the story is basically >!Gongja tries everything to clearing the floor his way, as always. He finds the only one in the world who understands him (regressor and stuff) In trying to understand her, he ends up falling head over heels for her. They spend time together, eventually Raviel also falls for him. They plan on how to clear the floor together.!<
I don't really see a problem with it. Sure, sometimes they do batshit insane things, none of it really feels out of character to me. I might have misremembered some of it but personally I find it a good story.
I Have no problem with this manhwa regressor story is great throughout from s1

So you like those super cool mcs who lead on the female lead for 100s of chapters but they are so cool that they don't end up with em. it's fine to like generic series with regression and op mcs but that doesn't mean series with better story building and not constant progression are bad.

And don't get me wrong I love romance but at the time where I stopped reading his love realization felt forced to me, she had a few similarities in character personality and now he loves her didn't sit with me, also ngl I was hopin for dark witch lady to be fml, and no she's not a granny I'm pretty sure she's only a few years older.
