i think it gets better as it goes on. it focuses a lot more on the characters and the story itself than strength progression and its enjoyable for me. probably has the best romance arc ive ever seen in manhwa.
id suggest u still read the heavenly demon vs orthodox faction arc. if you dont like it, then i think you should drop the manhwa. the arc is slightly slow but its amazing nonetheless
It's super hyped. I tried reading it. It's aight but I find other Manhwa better that people consider SSS class revival hunter better than like Barbarian quest. Maybe it's differences in taste but I don't really fw it
i didnt keep up with barbarian quest after catching up to it a year ago. it really felt like it was going to rehash vinland saga. i mean VS is great but if it just a manhwa version of it i dont really wanna read iti

obv i havent read it all of it so i dont know exactly where its going. but it definitely seemed like the author was going to make the mc a pacifist later one with the way the story moments were going
Revival hunter is hyped because it makes attempts at a more substantial story while making sure the self insert daddy is still at the helm. It makes it easier to stomach for those who only read those action power fantasies but holds it back from ever properly exploring the topics it tries to.
The LN is very great and the story is really great. The LN tends to delve more into the characters thoughts in detail in comparison as they can ofc write more dialogue. Its complete and its mostly 1 manhwa chap = 1 LN chap around
The novel is better by like 20%. I feel like I cried harder reading the novel. Some scenes didn't hit as well in the comic. I forgot the explanation for why the scenes don't hit as well, but I remember someone explaining to me.
I don't even know why Suicide Ranker makes me emotioanl. At most I might get a bit sad reading a story, but never cry. This is the only one that does the job.

So far not much has been changed in terms of manhwa, at least from what I can remember. But if we're talking about pure content, of course ln is going to be better since its the source and its there already waiting for the manhwa to catch up. Like some scene got a lot more detail in ln, but if you're not an imaginative person its not going to be better.
The first 50 or chapters are the most generic shit I've ever read ngl. But don't let it fool you. It gets better later. You'll know why people like it so much.

If you don't care for it now, you will hate it later on. You'll end up going through a martial arts arc that gets boring very quickly, and it walks over one of the worst romance arcs I've ever seen in fiction, as well as being one of the most unhealthy, toxic relationships I've ever seen, which scares me that people actually enjoy.

imo the ending is very much in line with the introspection of the latter half of the novel

I think it's still gonna be good but the top tier art of the manhwa really feeds a lot Into the more tragic scene we see
