Good old Louis, makes some very good documentaries because of his approachable demeanour. The one on the social impact of prescribed opioid addiction in the US was very sad.
Weird Weekends was such a good show.
Not that this is from that show, but it's how I came in contact with Louie Theroux.
The All Gas No Brakes Guy owes him a debt of gratitude.
Ummm, Vietnam, Gulf, and Falklands? They all were hugely impactful upon the living left behind? Gulf was 90s and possibly less in her scope, but the other two? I'm bewildered that people on here are actually trying to argue this?!
Yeah I read that and for some reason the battlefield 2042 trailer came to mind where guy jumps out of a jet, shoots an RPG at another jet, then falls back into his jet.
No idea what it has to do with golf.
Damn near but not every one like WW1 my point is thatās why itās more likely to be WW2 and thus her laughing is more justified though not really because they werenāt the only wars in the world lol
I immediately thought he was asking about the veitnam war.... then when she questioned him and I thought maybe the gulf War lol someone needs to tell Judy ww1 and ww2 weren't the only two wars, her being a Brit I'm surprised during Thatchers reign she never considered the massacre that was the Falkland war..... wasn't that 80s?
Ok? Kinda weird stance, but I'm not really arguing, I'm more trying to understand you, if a war occurs but happens on soil that isn't directly British but involves British troops then its not really a valid war? So Falklands/Vietnam/Gulf wars (which were highly publicized, so anyone of her age, oblivious to them, is so arrogant and sad) wernt really wars? I find it mildly humorous that you'd use the idea of falling bombs to explain the Falklands war...... that wasn't a war. Admittedly, it was more of a massacre.
The War always was the 2e WW, in the context of those who lived in it (especially in europe).
The other war are horribles but didnt leave personal scars on the souls of britisch/euro citizens like WW2 did.
So yes EVERY war is hell for those who are in it, so wich one do you think she LIVED in, as in enduring it.
edit: assuming your an North American, let me frame a similair question to you:Wwich book of fiction were you reading during the yugoslavian civil war?, and now imagine being asked this question as a bosnian/serb person.
I hope this makes sense.
They weren't having a debate about which are *valid* wars. She was making reference to how many pets she had during a time that was *remembered primarily* as a time of war. That's a major distinction.
Vietnam could be such a reference for Americans, given its massive impact on the national psyche.

Its like when you make a risky joke with grandma and it was one to much. She was absolutly shocked š!
Yeah! And the "oh" was so cute
I love her so so so much
I'm happy to say my grandmother would have died laughing at 'which war'
I love Dame Judy Dench *so much*.
27th of july 2023
What the fuck is wrong with you?
15th september 2034
Better, but can you do even better
Falklands would have been a better recovery

A Brit thinking about the Vietnam war? Dench is old as time. He recovered lol.
A beautiful interaction before Dame Judy Dench was assimilated by all mighty Louis. We Are Louis.
I wasnāt expecting a Star Trek / Borg reference hereā¦ Sir, I salute you.
[get louis](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5xnG1VfR3E)
That's Dame Judy Dench you're talking to! She does have the connections to make you disappear!
Yup, Bond is always there.
I love Dame Judi Dench!!!
The world war don't jiggle jiggle...
Ummm, Vietnam, Gulf, and Falklands? They all were hugely impactful upon the living left behind? Gulf was 90s and possibly less in her scope, but the other two? I'm bewildered that people on here are actually trying to argue this?!
Vietnam didnāt really impact England, falklands didnāt go on long enough and the golf was too recent.
There was a golf war?
Damn auto changed it to gold and I forgot to change the o.
*shoots off a mortar* FOOOOOORE
Yeah I read that and for some reason the battlefield 2042 trailer came to mind where guy jumps out of a jet, shoots an RPG at another jet, then falls back into his jet. No idea what it has to do with golf.
Itās not a story the Scotts would tell you.
LIV v PGA
Haha I'm surprised she didn't drop kick him š
That small āOh!ā at the end. I want her to play The Queen in The Crown SE7. š«£ā„ļø
Dame Judi is the spitting image of my late mum. I love her but itās a bittersweet kind of thing.
To be fair there's only like 25 years difference š
Everyone who fought in ww1 is dead though
And damn near everyone from WWII is as well. What's your point?
Damn near but not every one like WW1 my point is thatās why itās more likely to be WW2 and thus her laughing is more justified though not really because they werenāt the only wars in the world lol
Tell me you don't understand the internet without telling me you don't understand the internet
Judi, youāre the best.
She thought there was only 2 wars?
I immediately thought he was asking about the veitnam war.... then when she questioned him and I thought maybe the gulf War lol someone needs to tell Judy ww1 and ww2 weren't the only two wars, her being a Brit I'm surprised during Thatchers reign she never considered the massacre that was the Falkland war..... wasn't that 80s?
No bombs fell on england/mainland Britten during falkland/vietman/gulfs, THE war for people her age/nationality wil always be the 2 world war.

Exactly, And given that britisch citizens had very little to do with Vietnam war and also her age....
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Or maybe the fact she's 88 years old?
Bond isnāt the same now that Mumās goneā¦
And Bond himself
Ooohhh ā¦
Who is this? Is this the old lady from GOT? (Serious question) She rules
No lol you might know her as M The Bond movies
Riiiiiight! Lol thanks
I watched this on mute and read the subtitles in her voice. Sheās a treasure.
Wiggle wiggle
When you refer to a war as "the war", you got two choices, but if someone is saying it to you, narrows it down to one.
WHAT ABOUT THE KOREAN WAR
I understand the confusion considering the Vietnam āwarā was the Vietnam Terrorist attack not a war.
When you realize she's been alive for WW2, Vietnam, Korea, and the middle eastern conflict
That was so funny š
