As an Englishman who is still salty about becoming 'English' just before the year 1000, I can tell you that some places in England are also not massive fans of England. The whole place went downhill after the Viking era.
Excuse me, some of us live here and have turned that disdain into mental steel(not british steel) that can draw self depreciating sarcasm with the slightest cut.
I had a student once who had a little blåhaj on his backpack. Thanks to this sub I knew that I had to pay attention to make sure she was safe and accepted in class if she was trans.
I don't know if I had any impact, but I am happy to say that two years later **he** is fully accepted and happy.
Just gotta go deeper. I'm unfazed by MRI noises after twenty years of industrial and metal, but mainstream-ish music does next to nothing for me.

Because your hormones aren't naturally one level all the time, usually.
