I haven’t been using it long. Simple push button mechanism and so far no lead jams. What sets it apart in my mind is the feel. I love writing with it, the weight and balance are phenomenal, smokes any other mechanical pencil I have ever used and I’m a self-proclaimed pen and pencil geek.
Sometimes the way a tool feels (and makes you feel) matters as much as how it functions. I think there were several posts a while back about Adam Savage finding his ideal tool in a cheap Paper Mate SharpWriter!
How is the mechanism?
Eh too similar to a Caran D'ache 844 to spend that much $$$. Though I hope you get many years of use. 🫡
