The Tect 2way Light has its own charms. For example, the color variety is much more diverse, especially for the clear or tinted models. One of my favorites is the recent all-clear limited edition called the 'Kara Kaze 01', made for a Japanese brand called Hi-Note. Mechanically it is very similar to the metal-gripped original but the construction is different: you cannot swap a metal grip onto the Light models. Why not enjoy the Light for what it is. If you really like it, then YOU can decide whether to spend double for the metal gripped original. Remember: the original only has metal in the grip; the upper body is still plastic.

Thank u so much. Well now I decided it's definitely the light I thought that the metal gripped was all metal so I thought the weight would matter considerably but now that I know it's only the grip it's much easier to decide. Thank u.

In my opinion, the Zebra Tect 2 way (original, not lite) is a surprisingly good MP. It’s like the high end version car of a company not usually known for making muscle cars or sports cars. Like a Subaru WRX, for example. The Zebra Tect 2 lite is a nice pencil but does not have the heft and excitement of the original. It’s a solid MP, but you’re getting a Subaru Impreza in a Subaru Impreza body, not a WRX. Hope that helps.

Thank u is the original worth double the price?

On Amazons (US), I see them listed at around $9 and $6 respectively, so I’d say the original is great for that price point.

Yes yes but where I live it has high taxes and what not so it's double the price.
