My boss wants me to arrive 30 min early to work and not close they gate even 1 min before closing, even though the weather is terrible and nobody wants to buy concrete mix in those conditions.

DragonsBeware

Bosses do be like that

I mean, it's their money... unfortunately for me, I don't get any breaks except lunch break (30 min). Their justification for it is that I only NEED to arrive 15 min early, as in they give me my 15 min break at the start of my day and I don't NEED to clock in until 15 min before work actually starts, but still get paid for the 15 min break, however, if I clock in too late, I'm basically missing 30 min of pay for arriving 5 min late (which can happen because of traffic and/or bad weather).

DragonsBeware

My guy, that is toxic AF, you’re human, you need breaks to rest and shit

I know. But I am just working there for some months more before I move countries to go to university.

DragonsBeware

That works for me, work yourself to the brink of death then go study like whatever life you have left depends on it

It's just not profitable for me to try to find another job on such short notice that is also okay with me dipping out in some months.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> still get *paid* for the FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
