you take it and swing the shit out of it to maybe cut the weeds but not to worry you knocked the shit out of your house and now your hands hurt from the vibrations.

It’s a blade from a weed whip. At least that’s what we called it. Imagine a tool resembling a golf club with horizontal blade where the head would fit. You would swing it and the serrated blade would cut the weeds. Gas weed trimmers made them obsolete. But I think they can still be bought.

I've never seen a weed whacker like this! I'd be much more interested in using one like this instead of the gas/electric powered ones

Yeah they only work if you have a big open field with no fence posts or random rocks. Which defeated the purpose as then you would just mow.

I have a modern one. It looks more like a golf club. The blade is about 12" long X 3" wide.
