The gorillas are just machines, while the hammer guy was a human turned into cyborg. As long as you don't kill the cyborgs, the game will give you the No Kills bonus

If you only injured the humanoid cyborgs but let them disappear instead of killing them it's considered no kills and you get extra bp for it.

Hmm, I did use Reaper mode to chop them all into salad with the Pole-arm, so, idk? Plus it says 5 kills right there.
