I distinctly remember my grandad had one. As a child I thought it was so cool and spaceage. It was also the first microwave I ever saw I think so maybe he imported it.
Absolutely not my experience. The spinning dial gets fouled over time and you turn it and it goes 1-3-1-6-1-9-2 so you go slow and very slowly it goes 1-2-3-1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-1-2.
By how much? I feel like either it would be hard to get an exact shorter time that you want or you'd have to press it a million times if you wanted to put it on for ten minutes.
Mine is old, but a nice brand (Whirlpool), it has plus and minus that starts at five seconds from zero, then over a minute it is 10 and over two minutes it's 30. It also has a "jet start"-button that starts it at max for 30 seconds and every click adds 30 more. Don't really need any more granularity than that, though it is mostly used for defrosting.
I think I prefer the way mine does it. It just has number buttons and one that does intervals of 30 seconds. I routinely microwave potatoes for seven minutes, and that's a look easier when you can just punch the numbers in.
Could be, but it depends on how you define "easier". Clicking a large single button a few times is in some ways easier than using the correct ones out of several buttons with the same size even if it means fewer presses, requires less need for precision.
My model is also one built to be placed in a corner with the buttons above the door, so number-buttons wouldn't fit without making it larger in some way.
Depending on the microwave you can hold the + button to have it go up automatically, or hold - to immediately go to the max time setting and decrease the time from there. The increments may change depending on the time.
For example, my microwave lets you change the time by 5 seconds when it's less than 1 minute, then 30 seconds under 5 minutes, and anything above that changes with 1 minute. I think there's a point where it changes by 5 minutes above a certain point but I've never had to use my microwave for longer than 15 minutes straight so I'm not sure.
Never seen a microwave with number buttons anywhere in Europe. Not that I searched for them, but definitely doesn't seem the norm. Never missed them either, quite the contrary.
Here's a link to my current one. Had a couple of years now. Was also cheaper back then too compared to new price now.
Number buttons on microwaves quite common here in NZ. My previous Sharp Carousel had them too.
https://www.briscoes.co.nz/product/1104457/sharp-microwave-34-litre-stainless-steel-r395est/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw48-vBhBbEiwAzqrZVGmNgZ9p-Nxkv8G1l4Yx_vHUdqJvTpkhO3zjjxtgvLfLvI7aYqx7ehoC8KgQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
I hate twiddly dials. Was delighted to find a digital keypad again, as couldn't last time and had to settle for digital with a dial.
You hear people say dials are easier, but for me it is quicker and easier to use the digital shortcuts or just type the amount of time you actually want, rather than spin a dial and see what increments it decides to give you. How can it be easier than if I want 4 minutes I just press 4 on the key pad and microwave go brrrrr?
We have a nice wall mount microwave thats 7 years old now. I'ts so nice the 6 and 0 have stopped working by now.
Need 7 minutes hit 7:11 cuz that's as close as your getting. Reason i use that time, it happens to be my fav micro chicken pot pie cook time.
I‘ve seen 0-9 buttons microwaves only in American households until now. In Europe it‘s more common to press 30sec button multiple times and stop the microwave earlier if you have to
Huh, I did not know this. Most appliance stores in my area sell the ones with 0-9 buttons, but after our old microwave (that used 0-9 buttons) stopped functioning we got a new one that uses the whole “press a button to add 30 seconds” thing. It was weird at first but I got used to it.
This is the way. My microwave doesn't have a dial or number buttons, the text saying what each button does has long faded and the booklet missing.
It's 800w, I just spam the +30sec till I get roughly where it needs to be, once it reaches a certain point it goes up in 1min increments anyway. I just need a 1 button microwave.
My old one had +1 sec +10 sec +1 minute +10 minute buttons. I’ve just swapped to a +30 second button and the only other options are pre-programmed. Definitely different for me and my lil brain!
My wife bought one of those and I hate it. You can press one button to add 10 seconds at a time or another to add 30 seconds with each press. Super annoying.
A man once told me that once every couple of months he just sets the microwave to 99.99 minutes so he just presses start whenever he wants to heat something up, then stops it whenever he feels like it’s had enough time. Then it’s ready to go next time he needs it.
No I'm on your side lol there is no reason not to have all the buttons. "saving time" by having to press *one whole less button* is such a dumb concept lol
I have one of these, or very similar (LG, smart inverter). It should have a capacitive touch slider on the door near the handle?
My main gripe is it's so light it moves when I open or close it and they cheaped out on the weak af led light inside.
How is 30 seconds button annoying. My microwave has the same, I just mash the +30 button until it's enough and that's it. Conveniently it's also the same button that turns on the microwave at full power, one button appliance, genius design.
I have one of these and I love it. You can keep the button pressed and the time summs up pretty fast.
Also its quite powerfull compared to cheap ones, and I rarely heat anything more than 2min.
My wife bought one of those and I love it. You can press one button to add 10 seconds at a time or another to add 30 seconds with each press. Super convenient.
It’s fascinating to see how many people this is the norm for. I’m in the US and am 35 years old and have literally never seen a microwave without 0-9 buttons in my entire life.
I saw one recently that appeared at first blush not to have them, but they were actually hidden by the door when closed. You had to open the door, punch in your time, and then close it and hit start for it to run.
The microwave at my workplace has buttons 1-9, but instead of allowing you to manually input how long you want to microwave for, each has a set number of seconds that it sets the microwave to.
Unless you memorize every number you literally don't know how long it's going to microwave for until you start it.
Now that is ripe for a whole bunch of other subs. Mildly infuriating or asshole design or something. Jesus. That's the worst idea I've seen on this "but here the microwave has...".
That's how the ones at my work are, too, but the translator is built in to the labels - so I have to stop and read it, but I can figure out that pressing 7 will give me two minutes of heating.
I worked in a quick serve/fast casual place that microwaved a lot of food, and our microwaves were like this as well. I believe there were guides near the microwave to tell you how long each button cooked for, but if you spent enough time in the kitchen, you'd know them by heart pretty quickly.
Well the label is all in English. It's not exactly nuts that OP didn't realize what currency it's in. I would have expected there to be some Tagalog somewhere.
Isn't this super common? Why would a microwave even need number buttons? It's not like you need to set the time at exactly 1min 17s or something. Quite often microwaves just have turn dials for power and time. And that's it.
Here in Canada, I've never had a microwave that didnt have a full keypad. Most of the time I manually type in exactly what I want and am anal enough to do weird numbers, but usually in multiples of 5. So like I will feel what I'm heating up and think to myself "this definitely needs another 55 seconds". 60 would be too much and 45 too little.
Mine also includes a bunch of built in presets for different things. You access them by hitting a preset button and then the keypad number that's associated with it and any other options associated with it. With those you could potentially use any number.
I live in Europe and all the cheap microwaves just have two turn dials, one for power, one for time and the time is an approximate basically.
60 seconds is actually not that different from 55. I understand why it's convenient to put the exact seconds once you get used to it, but is it a necessity? Not really. My microwave has a turn dial that moves in increments the time in 15s segments. Or you can push the "instant +30s and turn on" button. If I need to get exact seconds I just stop it manually. It's not like I will be away from the kitchen anyways. I've never found any use for presets, since they just leave your food cold.
I love my presets and use them constantly, however that may be because with all buttons its more cumbersome to set the power. I can see where having both as dials would make it much more convenient.
All microwaves I've used have the keypad, and I use them dor exactly that. For things like heating milk for coffee, I'd find around 50 seconds to be the ideal time to temperature. Also adjusted power in increments on 10% when reheating food to get a more even temperature.
It doubles as a kitchen timer, has presets for thawing meat (you type in the weight). Can adjust power level by 10% increments. Sometimes also has range lighting and exhaust fan controls. At least, in the US.
Galanz Toastwave or bust. Microwaves, toasts, broils, and air-fries, all in one sweet package. Makes the best leftover pizza the fastest by microwaving and then toasting. Has a dial with a push click, so you just turn and click and you’re running your precise time faster than any other microwave. Defrost presets actually work really well. Downside is the popcorn button truly is useless, and will absolutely burn the shit out of your popcorn.
Cheesus crispies dude, I just looked that machine up and they're broiling salmon and baking turducken in that thing. It's like owning a car that can also mow my lawn and plough my farm. Please, man, I just want a microwave to reheat my leftovers.
Smart Diagnosis - Is that a feature, and what does it do? 🤔
Never mind. It detects if there's any issues with the appliance, and then you can see the diagnosis on your phone. That's pretty handy
It's a proprietary format so I can't create my own. I assume the real idea was to licence it to frozen food manufacturers.
They did publish some recipes for homemade foods, but I've since lost the printed version that came with the oven, and the website is long since dead.
[https://web.archive.org/web/20051223124452/http://www.smartcooking.co.uk/recipes-menu.html](https://web.archive.org/web/20051223124452/http://www.smartcooking.co.uk/recipes-menu.html)
From other comments, probably the Philippines. Based on the current exchange rate, 6,895 Philippine pesos is worth about $125 US. The Philippine peso is probably one of those currencies that just has a smaller base value, like the Japanese yen. For reference, 6,895 Japanese yen is worth about $45.
There could be buttons inside the door. My microwave has an additional 10 buttons just underneath the door. In my nuker, these hidden buttons are all for reheating different types of meals (full plate, half plate, pizza, fish, bacon, butter, etc)
I have this microwave in black, works a treat. How often do you really need 25 seconds or 8 seconds. If you do, just start it for 10 and pull it open at the right time
Who needs numbers on a microwave? You just need 2 buttons: start/add 30 seconds and cancel.
I might allow one more button to set the power level
Nobody uses anything else, so why make it complicated.
This always come up. Many countries have no 0-9 buttons at all and use dials, +30 sec buttons, etc. Tbh I am not sure if the US is the only place with them.
I have that in black. Has a nice slidey spot to change the numbers. Also changes the power to the magnetron when using, say 30% power, instead of clicking it on and off a lot. It’s quite nice. Has a lot more space inside than other ones that size.
Wow, I thought only us Americans were too stupid to use numbers. I've been looking for a wireless meat thermometer that I can program by entering the temperature but all of the cheap ones, the buttons only have pictures of animals on them like they are designed for 4 year olds.
Yeah, everyone thinks they're clever pointing out you can operate a microwave just by smacking the +30 second button over and over again. Seriously. It's a common UI example.
I'm not that bothered by it, but given the choice I'd prefer to tell my appliance what I want it to do rather than smack the same button repeatedly and then babysit it. To be fair, though, I frequently find 5 to 10 seconds can be the difference between perfect and "my leftover pizza slice is trying to murder me".
I have a similar one from LG. I like it. My wife has this crazy need to put in uneven numbers like 1:42 to reheat her food so she doesn't like it. It increases heating time in 10 seconds increments.
What are the 0-9 buttons for?
The only buttons worth having are the start button that adds on 30 seconds, the cancel button and the defrost setting button. Anything else is pretty much pointless.
Have this microwave. Love it actually. Super easy to use once you get used to it. And I never really need to microwave for 1-9 seconds. Intervals of ten is totally fine once you’re used to it. Super easy to adjust power level as well.
Most UK microwaves don’t have 0-9 buttons. Usually there’s a dial that you spin instead.
Same here… I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with a full keypad in real life. Maybe once when I was a kid
I distinctly remember my grandad had one. As a child I thought it was so cool and spaceage. It was also the first microwave I ever saw I think so maybe he imported it.
Spinning dial microwave > button microwave
a microwave is a microwave
until it's ajar.
Right because then it’s a jar and not a microwave
Absolutely not my experience. The spinning dial gets fouled over time and you turn it and it goes 1-3-1-6-1-9-2 so you go slow and very slowly it goes 1-2-3-1-2-3-4-5-6-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-1-2.
That’s kinda wild. My grandparents had a microwave with a dial 25 yrs ago and I haven’t seen one with a dial since.
Newer dial models have a digital readout.
Yeah me too I'm french, now living in se Asia the same thing, never saw thoses pad, I don't even understand why lol
Same here in Germany I never saw a microwave with 0-9 buttons in my life
This one doesn’t have a dial either
If it works like every other microwave I’ve had then you just press the + and - buttons to change the time
By how much? I feel like either it would be hard to get an exact shorter time that you want or you'd have to press it a million times if you wanted to put it on for ten minutes.
Ours scales the adjustments as you go. Ten second increments, then thirty, then I think past a certain point it's sixty. I hate it.

Damn. Just having a number pad seems way easier.
That sounds awful. Just let me punch in the exact time ffs
Never seen a microwave with number buttons anywhere in Europe. Not that I searched for them, but definitely doesn't seem the norm. Never missed them either, quite the contrary.

I hate them so much, I don't know why that became the standard
😆 I quite like the dials. The little clicks as it goes round is just nice to me.
I like dials in general, but the lack of precision annoys me with dials on microwaves
I hate twiddly dials. Was delighted to find a digital keypad again, as couldn't last time and had to settle for digital with a dial. My 35+ year old german microwave has 2 dials. One to select the intensity (1-5) and one to set the timer (up to 35 minutes).
Mine is quite old and has 0-9. My mum has a much newer one, also 0-9. I don't remember the last time I saw one with a dial

You mean dial like old disk phone?
Kinda? It’s just a raised circle that spins.
I‘ve seen 0-9 buttons microwaves only in American households until now. In Europe it‘s more common to press 30sec button multiple times and stop the microwave earlier if you have to

I have one with a normal keypad, but 99% of the time I just hit the +30 sec button however many times I need. The actual digits rarely get pressed.
Maybe you guys need to get in touch and you know.. swing sometime.. maybe idk
A man once told me that once every couple of months he just sets the microwave to 99.99 minutes so he just presses start whenever he wants to heat something up, then stops it whenever he feels like it’s had enough time. Then it’s ready to go next time he needs it.
This is genius.
Genius , until the day forgets about it and falls asleep and 80 minutes later he’s on fire in his lazy boy
There’s worse ways to go.
Yes, he could have been found with a belt around his neck and his penis in a vacuum too
Lmao could be solved with a regular microwave with 0-9
Does the light stay on between heatings?
I don't use keypad neither. Button 30 sec more. Or sometimes from roll more time
\+30 sec button gets used until I need to microwave something for 2 minutes or more. Then I use the number pad.
My 1-5 keys auto start it at 1-5 minutes unless you first press the “time” button. Waste of my time trying to get 45 seconds.
Same, it's a one button appliance, all other buttons are decorations.
You’re missing out with the defrost and popcorn buttons
Sounds like y'all should trade microwaves
[удалено]
I had a microwave that had number buttons, but also had a 30 second increment button that would start it immediately.
They're buttons.... they take literally less than a second to press.
Yet I'm still annoyed... plus I have to explain to guest how to use the microwave.
No I'm on your side lol there is no reason not to have all the buttons. "saving time" by having to press *one whole less button* is such a dumb concept lol
Canadian here. I had to look up the user manual online in order to use my daughter’s new dial model with inverter technology. 😂
For items under 3 minutes, yes. I regularly cook rice in my microwave though, and I imagine putting in 14 minutes would get old pretty quickly!
My nob increases (incrementally) the more you turn it (on).
fortunately I was just there for a fridge so I did not buy it, but it sure caught my eye and made me go heh im mild
Maybe there's a hold function
Well, buy another one for yourself and tell her she can only use hers. Stand up for yourself man.
Was it that expensive?
I have one of these and I love it. You can keep the button pressed and the time summs up pretty fast. Also its quite powerfull compared to cheap ones, and I rarely heat anything more than 2min.
If you swipe your finger along the - to + you can add time faster! At least mine that looks like this does that
My wife bought one of those and I love it. You can press one button to add 10 seconds at a time or another to add 30 seconds with each press. Super convenient.
It’s fascinating to see how many people this is the norm for. I’m in the US and am 35 years old and have literally never seen a microwave without 0-9 buttons in my entire life.
Same. I recently moved abroad so all the norms changing for me are mildly interesting to observe
My best friend growing up had a microwave that had a dial and no buttons, absolutely hated it.
I saw one recently that appeared at first blush not to have them, but they were actually hidden by the door when closed. You had to open the door, punch in your time, and then close it and hit start for it to run.
Eh? I have seen several microwaves in different offices, different homes, but have never seen a keyboard there. Do you need to call someone via it?
Nah that's for email. The numpad, on the other hand, is there to make a call with.
It's used to energize people.
It's super common in the US
The microwave at my workplace has buttons 1-9, but instead of allowing you to manually input how long you want to microwave for, each has a set number of seconds that it sets the microwave to. Unless you memorize every number you literally don't know how long it's going to microwave for until you start it.
Now that is ripe for a whole bunch of other subs. Mildly infuriating or asshole design or something. Jesus. That's the worst idea I've seen on this "but here the microwave has...".
Yeah, I would need a short clip to really capture the stupidity of the design, not a picture, so it would be difficult to make a post though.
That's how the ones at my work are, too, but the translator is built in to the labels - so I have to stop and read it, but I can figure out that pressing 7 will give me two minutes of heating.
You work in a 7-11?
I worked in a quick serve/fast casual place that microwaved a lot of food, and our microwaves were like this as well. I believe there were guides near the microwave to tell you how long each button cooked for, but if you spent enough time in the kitchen, you'd know them by heart pretty quickly.
Wtf is up with that price? ![gif](giphy|9lusxBBUsTz8Fk029b|downsized)
lol it is in filipino peso, it is about 120 usd
Oh my god I thought it was pounds. That feels much more reasonable
Around £97 in pounds
Or $120 in dollars.
How many bananas?
Around $120 dollars worth
Big if true
About 1.
US$, not Canadian, or Australian, or Trinidad and Tobago, or ...
I was wondering if it was telepathic and just knew how long to cook the food. Our pricing structure is very different.🤣
The other thing that threw me off was the installment payments for a microwave. Is there no symbol for the Filipino peso?
It’s the ₱ sign or some stores use PHP. Dunno why this store doesn’t have it. Normally they would put it there.
Other countries (and currencies) exist. Crazy, I know.
Well the label is all in English. It's not exactly nuts that OP didn't realize what currency it's in. I would have expected there to be some Tagalog somewhere.
WHAT!!!
It's not that they exist, it's how different the price structure is. I don't interact with foreign currency and purchases often. Crazy, I know.
Isn't this super common? Why would a microwave even need number buttons? It's not like you need to set the time at exactly 1min 17s or something. Quite often microwaves just have turn dials for power and time. And that's it.

I love my presets and use them constantly, however that may be because with all buttons its more cumbersome to set the power. I can see where having both as dials would make it much more convenient.
Because 175 ml of baby formula will be too cold after 35s and too hot after 40s and its 3 AM and I just want my baby to go the fuck back to sleep.
🙌 I felt this in my bones.
All microwaves I've used have the keypad, and I use them dor exactly that. For things like heating milk for coffee, I'd find around 50 seconds to be the ideal time to temperature. Also adjusted power in increments on 10% when reheating food to get a more even temperature.

Not in the US at least
I have never seen a turn dial microwave before. And yes, sometimes I do pop something in for 8 seconds, or 15 seconds.
My sister microwaves baby bottles for specifically 45 seconds, so she likes the numbers
Mine doesn't have them either
I'm in my forties and I've never seen a microwave with a number pad in the wild. I live in Europe.
Canadian here, Never seen a dial microwave, all of ours have the number pads or at least 99% sold in stores do.
Wait is that 6 thousand dollars microwave?
it must cure cancer
or give it to our greatest enemies
They said it’s in uhhh Philippines money. I thought the same thing like we just gunna ignore the price?
6,895 Philippine peso is $125 USD or £97 GBP
TIL Europeans are still living in the Stone Age of microwaves
Godless Europeans...no number pad on their microwaves and washing machines in kitchen that can only hold 1 pair of socks at a time
Galanz Toastwave or bust. Microwaves, toasts, broils, and air-fries, all in one sweet package. Makes the best leftover pizza the fastest by microwaving and then toasting. FILIPINO SPOTTED
I've never owned one with number buttons.
Can we talk about that price? Wtf.
Iirc robinsons is filipino
Oh okay 😂
I've never seen one with 0-9 dials in my life.
I've never seen a microwave with 0-9 buttons
Which currency is that?
PHP
Smart Diagnosis - Is that a feature, and what does it do? 🤔 Never mind. It detects if there's any issues with the appliance, and then you can see the diagnosis on your phone. That's pretty handy
We have the number keypad and the general options in Australia.
Mines has no number pad, but does have a QR scanner. https://imgur.com/a/4yvRTK8
How do you generate the proper QR code? Could you just scan any old QR code and get it to work?
It's a proprietary format so I can't create my own. I assume the real idea was to licence it to frozen food manufacturers. They did publish some recipes for homemade foods, but I've since lost the printed version that came with the oven, and the website is long since dead. Huh, interesting!
Why is a microwave 7000 dollarydoo when everything is printed in English. What hyper inflation country is this in
From other comments, probably the Philippines. Based on the current exchange rate, 6,895 Philippine pesos is worth about $125 US. The Philippine peso is probably one of those currencies that just has a smaller base value, like the Japanese yen. For reference, 6,895 Japanese yen is worth about $45.
And it's an LG. I'm sure there will be absolutely no problems with this machine within the first year /s
I think the numpad on microwaves is mostly a NA/US thing? I've hardly ever seen one over here in the EU.
That is odd. I haven’t bought a microwave in 5 years, so I don’t know what’s out there.
There could be buttons inside the door. My microwave has an additional 10 buttons just underneath the door. In my nuker, these hidden buttons are all for reheating different types of meals (full plate, half plate, pizza, fish, bacon, butter, etc)
Tbh I've never seen a microwave with a 0-9 keypad...
My microwave doesn't either, it does everything automatically, Al though there is also the option to add 30 sec by pressing start (it stacks)
Okay. I have got to be reading something wrong, because there is no way in hell that microwave is nearly 7 grand.
7000 Filipino pesos which is around 130 us dollars
I have this microwave in black, works a treat. How often do you really need 25 seconds or 8 seconds. If you do, just start it for 10 and pull it open at the right time
I have it too, and the input doesn’t bother me at all but that damn jingle when it is done! Arrgh I hate it so much
Ours has a dial that you can turn to add time or just hit the +30 second timer. We just use the 30 second button most of the time
We’re just ignoring the price then?
If the other commenters are correct about the country (they're saying the Philippines), it would be about $125 US.
That monopoly money or something that's some bullshit 😂
I have one of those... I 200% hate it... If those weren't expensive here, I'd sledgehammer it with no remorse...
Who needs numbers on a microwave? You just need 2 buttons: start/add 30 seconds and cancel. I might allow one more button to set the power level Nobody uses anything else, so why make it complicated.
This always come up. Many countries have no 0-9 buttons at all and use dials, +30 sec buttons, etc. Tbh I am not sure if the US is the only place with them.
Pretty common tbh. I never owned a microwave with a number pad.
I've personally never used the numbers on my Microwaves, I just spam the start button since it adds 30 seconds each press.
My microwave has a dial but can only adjust 10 seconds at a time.
![gif](giphy|kd9BlRovbPOykLBMqX) Hey that's in my country! Yeah, that's weird to me. Microwaves with number pads or dials are more common here.
I have the older version of this, the numbers are inside the door.
Is there a start button at least?
I'm sorry! How much?

Open the door. The numbers behind the door
I have that in black. Has a nice slidey spot to change the numbers. Also changes the power to the magnetron when using, say 30% power, instead of clicking it on and off a lot. It’s quite nice. Has a lot more space inside than other ones that size.
I don't think i have used the 0-9 buttons on mine ever. I just hammer the +30 second button
Mine doesn't either. It has 10 sec, 1 min and 10 min buttons. Repeatedly tapping the heat button cycles between Watt values.

Its a filipino store i think
So does mine and it's very irritating. I miss my old one lol
Huh I had a LG microwave like this for years and seen bunch of other people have it here in the US so idk what is so interesting and new about this
Yes, they kinda suck in comparison.
Apple started making microwaves?
Dial microwaves fascinate me... I only just saw one for the first time like a month ago.
I just bought a new microwave for the first time in over a decade and ones that have numbers are exceedingly rare.
Wow, I thought only us Americans were too stupid to use numbers. I've been looking for a wireless meat thermometer that I can program by entering the temperature but all of the cheap ones, the buttons only have pictures of animals on them like they are designed for 4 year olds.
Is that in USD? $6900?!
I believe it's Filipino pesos
In what currency is that stated? I hope we're not getting to $7k for a microwave that will last 5 years max
I refuse to use mulitples of 5 when entering time. No f'ing way I get one of these
Yeah, everyone thinks they're clever pointing out you can operate a microwave just by smacking the +30 second button over and over again.
That price is nuts
Well, neither has mine?
I have a similar one from LG. I like it. My wife has this crazy need to put in uneven numbers like 1:42 to reheat her food so she doesn't like it. It increases heating time in 10 seconds increments.
What are the 0-9 buttons for? The only buttons worth having are the start button that adds on 30 seconds, the cancel button and the defrost setting button. Anything else is pretty much pointless.
To type in the time
Have this microwave. Love it actually. Super easy to use once you get used to it. And I never really need to microwave for 1-9 seconds. Intervals of ten is totally fine once you’re used to it. Super easy to adjust power level as well.
That is a pricy microwave
