Every bit as pretty and lightyears ahead technologically from the original.
It's more than enough (first) bike to get you in trouble in a Myriad of ways, so ride smart, sober and restrained.
Best of luck to you!
Classic bike looks - which is a plus to this old part! I've even warmed up to green on bikes - I had better have, mine is green too.
Enjoy the 650, I had a Suzuki GS 650E back in the day (early 80s). Great size and capability. As others have said, ride smart, learn a lot, have a lot of fun!
Good choice. In general, 650 engines are a nice balance of not too much power for a newbie (unless you're crazy with the throttle), yet enough power to last a long time (unless you're doing two up loaded touring)
Oh man, that thing looks sick. Was pretty close to getting one in silver/orange a while back.
I did my lessons and exams on a Kawa z650, so I'm pretty familiar with how they feel to ride. Lovely bikes. Plenty of character.
Enjoy man!
Great looking bike. Ride safe and enjoy!
Keep practicing skills and the best tip from my teacher is to watch the tires of the automobiles, they often turn/move before the drivers use their blinker.
Good bike. I have the z900 and I love it. It’s great because I drive in to DC to visit friends from northern VA. But I always said that if I lived in DC proper I’d trade for the 650.
Z650 rs if I remember correctly, kawasaki makes one in a really nice red. I always thought the green looked better online but the red on the showroom floor looked amazing
As far as function goes, stock mirrors are the best. I get it that people don't like them because they look kinda goofy on some bikes, but their placement gives the rider the best view of the rear, and the least about of distance to avert your gaze from the road. There is a reason they put the stock mirrors on the bike.
The bike I have now came with bar end mirrors, and I ended up taking them off. I don't like how far I had to look to see in the mirrors, and I didn't like how much wider they make the bike for lane splitting. It's like 8 - 12 inches of width added to the bike.
Sharp looking bike! Love the green. Look out for idiot drivers, wear the right gear, and have the time of your life.
Nice looking bike
She looks great, enjoy riding her.
