The best way is to create their party, give them troops (or make them recruit themselves) and then invite them to your army for free. 0 influence cost and you get 2 parties together. This is the main reason why clan parties exist and the only time I really dismiss them from my army is when I have to fight against Battania with 1 castle and tons of 20-man parties that I need to catch up to. Otherwise, I run constantly with an army, my clan army of 1k+ troops.

Tf that is awesome, I didn’t even think of doing that ngl only because I didn’t realize that it doesn’t cost jack to actually get them in your army thank you my dude seems I have a way of getting many troops on one stack again 😂 (currently I’m running around with 150 in my army as a max but this helps a lot thank you!)

look, this is influence vs denars with influence, you can skip paying for other parties and invite parties from other clans into your army, with denars you can skip paying influence by inviting your own parties into the army, keep in mind, that your parties accumulate influence and renown for you, so in massive battles, 100% of renown gained from that battle sits with you (split between your parties but lands in a clan pool), same is with loot and prisoners, those are split between parties participating in the battle, but your own parties will sell in town and it will go into your pocket this is why clan parties are the way to go, even if you can utilise other clans' parties for 'free', this still means that you can support your clan army with a few other parties to bolster numbers

Thorn-of-your-side

Don't armies need to split up so they can go replenish their troops? I know they will do it in armies, but not even half as efficiently unless you hire and gift them troops yourself. It's because your armies are competing for the same pool of recruits everywhere you stop

What I do is when I have my own parties in my army I always top them up to the full with my elite troops, and any parties that aren't mine I top off with my bottom tier troops I manage to recruit. Yes, I cap my party and then any troops I can get extra in all the other parties. If I give other parties bottom tier troops it means they invest in upgrading them, and I invest really bare minimum. Totally worth it.

I would do that, but then my clan parties will donate 300 legionaries I just have them to some castle that will eventually get recaptured lol.

There is something to that... Haha

Correct. I have a standard threshold and when an army member reaches that amount of troops (20-30) I release them so they can replenish. The key is timing it so you call parties to you that reach you about the same time you release folks. That way you shouldn't be undermanned for too long. The only caveat is you should release people in safe areas if you can. You want them to replenish troops and be back in the fight. Not fighting a losing battle and then captured.
