I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Considering the scrutiny that comes with creating a new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I think their entire team should be proud of their approach and execution. I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece myself but to each their own. I believe the original still taps into my most preferred vibe. This was more whimsy. And that’s okay. Scrub, scrub!

I saw Wonka in theaters since my wife wanted to go with some friends, while I am sure Timothy Chalamet is a great actor in this I just do not see it, when he tries to be silly it just looks so forced, the only thing great about this movie is Hugh Grant.

I liked when they landed near the secret military base and then turned about 500 leds strapped to themselves, only got better from there lol
While I don't agree personally, it definitely was a big surprise as to how much I enjoyed the film.
