For me IT 2 suffered too much of a comedic tone compared to Chapter 1(and maybe too much Pennywise) IT 1 had a lot of Pennywise, but it felt extremely dark and filled with tension the whole way...while Chapter 2 to me didn't feel as cohesive.

The CGI made it far less scary. In the mini series pennywise looked terrifying in a mundane way the movies is a big too unreal.

All of Halle Berry's movie for the last 10-20 years should've been scrapped Edit: I just remembered she was in john wick 3 and possibly in the fourth, so those are the exceptions
Though I liked the movies as a whole, I honestly thought she was pretty bad in them, too.
She wasn't in chapter 4, but she was in Cloud Atlas and X-Men Days of the future past. Those three are maybe the only good films of hers in the last 20 years. And I can't remember if she was in X-Men for more than a cameo.

Bizarre. Lotta amateurish mistakes happening across a number of industries. I feel like on multiple levels, there's a breakdown in the process because of how many people just don't care anymore or decisions are made based on penny-pinchimg cynical studio notes and it just slows the whole thing down and makes everything worse.

This movie must truly be a stinker for Netflix to shelve it. Anyone remember the god awful Cloverfield 3: Paradox superbowl "surprise film". Netflix is the home of terribly written cheap originals that have just enough budget and post color correction to pass as theatrical worthy films.

I'm sure they didn't set out to make something so bad it couldn't be released. Plenty of movies probably look great on paper when all you have is a script and some great names on the star/director/etc list.

Halle Berry is notorious for not knowing how to pick a script. The only good performances she gave were in Losing Isaiah and Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. After Dorothy she basically tortured the public with bad films.

Oh wow, I actually watched an early screening of this movie like 2 years ago. Not surprised this got scrapped. The movie was all over the place and the plot went downhill.

it must have been just *terrible!* I don't buy the kid cast stuff. 1st time Director/Writer/*Netflix*. Unless the Director has mega veteran support or is a genius, it's super risky. I mean, they released "Extraction"...so awful.
