It doesn’t suck it’s good but it’s definitely more campy/silly in a ‘she’s now a 16 year old with a smart mouth’ kinda way but still lots of good action/traps/gore
I enjoyed myself, but I did prefer the first over the sequel. But, I am kind of hopeful that they do a third movie. If so, excited to see what direction they can go with it.
I agree the first was definitely better but the sequel was fun. As soon as Wrath was over I immediately wondered how they would do the next movie so I guess they did their job lol
Yea I don’t think it was as good as the first, even less plot even more gore lol but it was pretty good for what it was. I was actually pleasantly surprised by Sean William Scott’s performance. I don’t think I’ve seen Stifler do anything serious before.. I like him in that lane.
I have it other way around. Didn't like first one and it was kinda generic home invasion movie. But totally loved sequel because it fully embraced cheesy aspect.
I dig them both. They're not particularly well made or written but there's a charm to them and it's real fun watching James and Scott play their roles. Looking forward to a third one where Chris Tucker plays a child sex trafficker.
First one is a cult classic and love its brutality. Makes me laugh at the craziness. Lol. The sequel was just blah. Loved the gore, but it was just plain dumb and Becky was a little annoying actually. The ending was terrible. I will stick with the first one.
She was def living up to the ‘annoying 16 year old girl’ thing lol ..The ending was ridiculous but it did make me feel like if they make a sequel it will be so far fetched and insane that it’ll actually be a good watch, I’m intrigued. By the time it comes out maybe she’ll be 19/20ish and the annoying kid thing will be removed from the dialogue
I thought the first one was trashy fun and enjoyed it. I had to stop watching the second one though when they let her live after witnessing them murder someone. All the writers had to do was have her run away when they weren’t paying attention. Instead they had them do something that not even a complete idiot would do. I was too frustrated to keep watching after that. I know it’s not a serious movie but come on.
Exact same thoughts I had after that moment honestly because we knew she had to be alive since the movie wasn’t over.. but her waking up and it being that they just took the dog was kinda .. lackluster/lazy. Also I know it’s not a new trope but the whole ‘you took my dog and now I must get Justice’ trope that’s been in overdrive in movies since John Wick is starting to get tiring. I know she also wanted revenge for the lady she was staying with but they centered the dog and that’s something I’m getting a little tired of (despite my love for dogs)
You should definitely watch the first, it’s even better! I’d say the second was definitely a little more campy/jokey so that’s one significant difference imo
I watched the first one because I was curious to see Kevin James as the bad guy. I think he did a great job and I enjoyed the movie. I didn't know about the second movie until I stumbled on it by chance, I thought it was great too.
That’s the reason I watched the first. I watched the trailer and was like ‘eh.. doesn’t look great but I’ll watch it to see a completely out of character Nazi Kevin James’ and it (and he) didn’t disappoint
I’m very thankful they kept the sequel short. I think it was like 80 minutes long. It was short and to the point which made it a decent film though not nearly as fun as the first one.
This is true I was thinking the same thing when it ended I was like .. that’s it? But then I thought ‘probably for the best’ there wasn’t too much more they could do without it getting TOO ridiculous lol like the premise of ‘young girl kills nazis home alone style for the SECOND time’ is already a stretch they can only push it so far without becoming super cheesy
The first is better, but I had more fun with the second one because I managed to catch it in the theater on opening night and it's always more fun watching movies like this on a big screen with a crowd that is into it.
I liked the first one, but the thing that stood out most for me was the [soundtrack](https://youtu.be/UgMJYDR34FU?si=IsaXqhq_JerX36m6) by Nima Fakhrara. Absolute banger. still listen to it sometimes
Come on!!! How can people hate on a pre-pubecent -adolescent John Wick wanna-be film? It is not meant to be Oscar material here. I put it at the level of Tucker and Dale against evil and love them.
Right?! I always think of how Roger Ebert said he tried to judge movies for what they were (instead of comparing them to movies in a whole different league) and I feel like more viewers should should do that lol I’ll critique it yes but their goal was clearly for the movies to be bloody and fun.. and they were
I really liked becky. Kevin james and his eyeball was ny favorite part lol. I have wrath of becky but havent got around to it. Im worried itll suck
It doesn’t suck it’s good but it’s definitely more campy/silly in a ‘she’s now a 16 year old with a smart mouth’ kinda way but still lots of good action/traps/gore
There was a crew call out for the third one recently. Not sure if it's officially listed as in production, but it's heading that way.
Nice!!

Yeah I'm excited to see what they do next. I hope they have fun with it.
I loved both
Becky fucks. Who saw Kevin James breaking type the way he did. I’m up for a third one.
TIL Becky has a sequel. I'mma look that up. Cheers!
i love it and have watched maniac's r/fanedits a couple of times with friends
Loved them both!
1st one was great, second one was just kinda meh for me.

You should get your hands on a copy of "Just Before I Go".
I have it other way around. Didn't like first one and it was kinda generic home invasion movie. But totally loved sequel because it fully embraced cheesy aspect.
Same, I liked the second one more. I had a lot of fun!

All I know is if they don’t do at least one more to address the key that ‘restores order to the universe’ I’ll be really annoyed 😅

True! I would give a third one a try!

I thought the wrath of Becky was a blast, but I haven’t seen the first one

Thanks I’ll check it out if I can find it for free

Lol same. Only 16 but apparently big things are coming her way

Its always fun to see people in roles you don't normally see them in. Shows that he can actually act if he needs/wants to.
Never heard about those movies.
If you enjoy fun bloody nonsensical action with decent but not the best dialogue .. you may want to check them out

I hope we get a sequel to Wrath of Becky, it was such an improvement over the first one.
