I did some more digging. I got pymyq to show the locks as "other" devices. The API for the locks is not known. Maybe I need to do a man-in-the-middle capture on the communications and see what calls are being made to query and set the locks

I’m curious if you ever got this to work. I have pymyq installed on a RPi; opening/closing doors and getting door state work as expected. My camera’s info show as “other” but my lights do not appear at all. I’m starting to believe that they are dumb lights, connected to a motion sensor, and not accessible.

I have these decora light switches: [https://support.chamberlaingroup.com/s/article/Light-controls-that-can-be-used-in-the-myQ-app](https://support.chamberlaingroup.com/s/article/Light-controls-that-can-be-used-in-the-myQ-app)

I was hoping that the light in the garage door opener was accessible. Thanks for the info.

The lights in the garage door opener are weak compared to what you can mount on the ceiling. I was able to use an 880LM motion-sensing control panel (that switches on the opener lights with the motion sensor) to also switch on the ceiling garage lights, and the exterior garage lights. So I use the car's garage door opener, the door opens - and both the interior and exterior house lights turn on.
