Just sent them a message, thank you!!

Countdown2Deletion_

I’m seeing this five hours later. Did you get him/her?

kristin57

No we were unable to stay longer. We unfortunately can’t go back today as we’re out of town :(

smart_bear6

I will be there tomorrow to see if the cat distribution system chooses me to be a dad once more. 😭

kristin57

Good luck!! I’m so worried about him in this heat 😢

uknowsidrum

Is it still out there if you know? I may ride up to check

VeterinarianThick167

Good luck 🫡

uknowsidrum

We rode up there. The food had been eaten. Covered in ants. We looked in different bushes and didn’t see anything.

uknowsidrum

Alright we stood up there for around 20-30. Played cat calls. Checked all the bushes. Left some dry food. No signs of little dude. Hopefully he got rescued.

kristin57

I really appreciate you checking on him!!

eltedioso

Great photo either way!

elizabethjeanwhite

Does anyone know if it was caught? We’re up here now and aren’t seeing anything.

kristin57

I haven’t heard back from the cat rescue, hopefully someone else grabbed him. I really appreciate you checking on him!! ❤️

arm_hula

Cutie little thing.

sduck409

There are tons of feral cats in that area. They’re not a nuisance, but not worth the bother of “rescuing”, unless you have a ton of time and energy.

goodlowdee

Or, hear me out, leave them be. Cats are predators and they do not need us. If you’ve ever owned a cat you should know this, especially if it was an outdoor cat. That cat is living large eating out of the b dubs trash can and probably happier doing so than having some bleeding heart pick them up to make them dependent on that person for food.

ittyittytittybiddy

Yea it's a predator. You don't leave non native predators in the wild. Look into the impact outdoor house cats have had on our native bird population. Cats belong in your house. Nature is for native animals.
