My issue really isn't with DeMar as much as how he fits within the larger landscape of the team. I'd be perfectly happy keeping him around on a 2-year deal at an all-star rate, since we aren't signing any other stars in FA and don't have the assets to trade for anybody. But I'd only want to do that if we were moving on from LaVine (and ideally Vuc as well) but it doesn't seem like the FO has any interest in doing that. So instead we'll probably pay all 3 of them and continue to have guys like Coby, Ayo, Williams and Phillips fight for scraps on a team battling for the play-in.

The bigger issue has been their refusal to admit that it was over as soon as Lonzo got hurt, and instead to double down on that investment.
Deebo is clutch af man. Really awkward game. Domas missing bunnies, Caruso missing everything and Drummond fumbling rebounds. Lyles at 5 gave Bulls trouble on the board for a bit early in the 4th but he ultimately took the game away from them.
