Oh man, that's rough for the suns. Lose to a bottom 3 team without Wemby and now have to deal with that brutal 10 game stretch.

jkeefy

It was a night of trap games, and the suns and clippers weren’t ready.

coldestwinterr3

Apparently it’s the hardest 10 game stretch, not only remaining but this season in general. Absolutely brutal for PHX lol

runevault

Pels about to play the Thunder with OKC on the front end of a back to back where the next night is against the climbing Rockets. So the 4-10 race could have real impact on the top of the West standings as well.

hotdogflavoredblunt

Fuck. Beating the thunder means a higher chance of facing the nuggets in the second round. Either way the game goes kinda feels like a loss lol

Lol69HaHaHa

Well youd have to play us at some point if you kept winning and just getting to the 2nd round would be a step in the right direction for you guys.

dys0n_giddey

ooh spicy

Poisidenx

I would gladly take a loss against the Rockets if it means the Warriors get knocked out

flash3444

How is mavs 9/11 against >.500 teams? Still play Detroit, Charlotte, and Atlanta.

Butterfly_Scape

8/11 then

BayonettaBasher

Miscount

kykerkrush

End of season schedules never play out as expected so I wouldn't look at games remaining against teams >.500 as indicative of anything.

runevault

Outside the Celtics basically everyone still has something to play for until close to the end or all the way to the end.

jkeefy

Well, unless you’re the Nets.

FERFreak731

What the Nets can decide to play for is deciding on helping the Jazz tank to the 8th best lottery odds, and give the Rockets the 9th pick instead of the 8th pick

runevault

haha I should have been more specific. I meant among > .500 teams. Seeing so many teams still jockeying for seeding with ~10 games left is so nice.

mega350

Yea strength of schedule never plays out as expected. Otherwise everyone would be millionaires.

skrtskerskrt

We all remember the Mavs penciling in their two wins against the Charlotte Bumfucks last year and how that played out.

diablejambeats

I’m going full homer on the Mavs and saying we win out, screw it (realistically I think it’s 2-3 more losses) That aside, Pels seem like they only have two to three more losses in them to me as well ngl. Kings and Clippers seem about right, though i’d say 3-4 losses for the Kings. And the Suns.. well. To me it looks like it’s def the Pels’ spot to lose. And the Thunder play all these teams except the Clippers at least once plus the Knicks, Cs, and Bucks, so depending on how well they navigate that #1 is looking like Denver’s to lose. 6 seed might be best case at a WCF appearance for all these teams.

BigFatModeraterFupa

we could 4-0 or 0-4 in these next 4 games ngl. All of them will be against desperate teams fighting for their lives. we gotta be ready

ChocolateTemporary72

Pels next three games are thunder, bucks, Celtics. When they had this stretch a month ago they went 0-3

diablejambeats

Yea 2 of the potential three losses i’m counting come from this stretch. I don’t necessarily think they’ll go 0-3 again though, but they’re also down Ingram right? It’ll def be tough for them

lsmith77

is Ingram going to be back for any of these?

ChocolateTemporary72

No

WateryDomesticGroove

Pels have actually been very good without Ingram the last couple of seasons. They were in first place in the West despite him missing 22 games during that stretch last season. It took Zion going down for them to crash back to earth.

w6750

Kings vs Suns play in game would be SPICY

Mitrakov

Not as spicy as Mavs vs. Suns Can't say no to a family reunion

Afraid-Department-35

As much as I enjoy watching Mavs-Suns games since it’s toxic af, I’d rather secure an actual playoff spot lol. With the clippers free-falling we have a better chance at nabbing one of those 3 playoff spots. I just hope we come out of these Kings games up top, it’s gunna be a bloodbath. Whoever loses might be stuck in the playin.

Mitrakov

Yeah, this double-header is gonna be lit, must-watch

MazKhan

With that suns schedule, Lakers can go 7-4 and still get the 8th seed ngl. The loss to the spurs just gave us some life

k1ngkoala

Same, with that loss to the Spurs, 8th seed might really be possible for us

AcrobaticFeedback

Yeah also with that loss the Spurs it really open up the 8th seed for the Lakers.

manabanana21

I could even see the door being opened for the Lakers to get to the 8th seed.

frankievejle

Lmaooo

Much_Conversation_11

Suns are a mess. New owner syndrome

CuzFuckEm_ThatsWhy

If Zion wants to be considered a super star, he has to prove it on this final stretch. I think he’s gonna go supernova.

Lol69HaHaHa

Hes good. Now that he has managed to play a full season, the mans shown what hes got. If he could improve on that for next year, hes gonna be a superstar.

aeiou-y

Superstars. Can’t have 5 point games as scorers. He still has work to do.

flykiddy

You are right. At least he bounced back the following game on 90+, but can’t have stinkers like that in playoffs or it’s a GG (even tho we somehow still won when he scored 4)

zbergwoopwoop

Man the Suns losing 3 times to the Spurs could seriously be the difference between a good playoff run and not even making the playoffs

Due-Farm-302

Honestly a question, why is noone (Reddit and Media) talking about the impact on the Pels not having BI for at least half this playoff push? Has he just not been a big part of their recent (last month) leap?

Afraid-Department-35

He’s been a pretty big part but the Pels are also really deep. They have guys that can cover for him. As long as the other starters remain healthy they should be fine for the most part.

WateryDomesticGroove

They were in first place basically through December last season and most of that was without Ingram as he missed 22 games just a few games into the season. It took Zion going down for the season before they started really losing. Pels might legitimately be the deepest team in the league and BI being out puts Zion in the point Zion role where he really seems to thrive. It’s a brutal stretch, though, with or without Ingram. I think they’d be happy to win 6 to get them to 50 wins. Seeding isn’t as important as matchups. If the Pels draw the Clippers, I think they win that series easily.

gratitudeisbs

Lakers taking the 8th seed from the suns calling it now, otherwise seeding is spot on OP

imacpastudent

Lakers are gonna overtake the suns. They have a soft schedule ahead and looks like Lebron is only gonna play against the weak teams to pad stats and be relatively healthy.

RapsareChamps_Suckit

the pelicans don't scare me

[deleted]

Lmfao yall ain't playing the pelicans yall dropping to 7th or 8th for wolves nuggets

doctor_of_drugs

The pels scare me the most

jkeefy

Love this energy, just because your teams identity is soft doesn’t mean the fans have to be 😤

mega350

I remember that account when Kawhi first joined the Clippers. He talked so much shit on here about all the rings they were gonna win.

alpacamegafan

Delusion isn’t any better honestly.

Cheeseish

What’s our historic record?

Impressive-Theory-27

yet the clippers have been owned by the pels for three straight year, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the pels would welcome a first-round matchup against the clippers
