Put him and FVV side by side. Even if you think they are better, how can he be mediocre if he’s statistically comparable to players most people think are great?
I don't know if every other franchise would have the patience to develop Pascal and Fred in the G-League for 2 years and then build an entire bench unit around them for 2 years until they reached their potential.
There are at least 5 teams that they wouldn't develop to the players they are at the rate they did.

Nah Mavs just need a good mid-tier defence guy, Gary isn't in the conversation cause he is nowhere near a good defender. Plus Mavs are I think not focusing on getting a 1 or a 2 now unless it's resigning DJJ or getting Klay from FA.

If he becomes more consistent he could be great, a change of scenery could really help that. He could fit in Philly, but I don’t think he wants to play under nurse. Orlando has a logjam at guard so I dunno if he’d be a good fit there.

We don't need just any guard: we need either a guy who can help run the offense (which Trent cant do) or a 3 point specialist (which Trent isn't, though he shoots it well). I don't think he's on our FO's radar at all, personally. A Suggs/Trent backcourt would not be very good imo.
