If a S&T happens it’s because the Mavs offered more than the MLE. They don’t have the cap space for it without sending salary (and sweeteners) to GS. And Klay will for sure agree if it means more money.

I don’t think Klay is a good fit for the Mavs, at least not starting. I’d much rather have DJJ starting at the 3 for his POA defense, losing that would be worse for the Mavs than gaining the 3pt threat Klay would bring.
