We probably need more fake bodykits. Every car should have at least 5

HangmanAM

Still real to me dammit.

SkeletonGamer1

Someone with enough fiberglass and patience can make all of them real. My 10yo me really wanted that goofy gallardo bodykit that criss-crossed around the front bumper. I now just vomit looking at it

justaperson4212700

like in the mw2005?

TheKFakt0r

Autosculpt was cool and I wish it stayed. Also, we should still be able to install sound systems and scissor doors and other similar vanity mods. Unbound having the meetups was a really good idea, but it wasn't utilized nearly as much as I'd like. Being able to walk around the garage and look at everyone's cars, with their own music playing and about to open the hood/doors/trunk or rev the engine, would really capture the car meet vibe.

yo1peresete

Also nfs story's became way to soft, would really like if next nfs had something like the crew 1 had. Also heavy emphasis on police challenges is needed. Im just saying give me a child of hot pursuit and most wanted.

ImJustStealingMemes

And please, more realistic pursuit dialogue.

DCAUBeyond

Some classics like the CLK GTR, Gallardo and Carrera GT should return. The classic era has better music than the titles after 2002,I prefer classic era music over songs like "Decadence" and "Shapeshifter"

SupermanFanboy

There is no such thing as a BAD nfs game. Every game has something to like. Staying suck in the past won't do anything.

greninjagamer2678

Most wanted mf when I let them play rival. They feel the actual bullshit difficulty of the cop.

XOVSquare

Need for Speed's identity seems built on police encounters, and those have stopped being fun a while back.

Vaz_G

Payback cops were pretty fun, the problem was that it was payback

Instinct_Gohan

They should add a bunch of cars. Not like fast cars but the slow ones as well. Like golf mk1-5 non gti, or some japanese shitbox with a 1.2l engine making 68bhp.

TheGumbyGyarados

Yeah i think responsive arcady handling is something that newer games just aren’t upto scratch on. Leave the realism to sims

Near_Void

Music will always be hard to put in NFS games because everyones taste is different

Puzzleheaded_Big6997

I believe there was recently an interview with someone involved with the games stating some stuff about the music, could be wrong though

GL1TCH1_

I don't know man, all I need is a vibe. Just a bunch of good songs within a certain genre that fit the game. Blackbox era was fire, and even Payback was really fucking good. Heat and Unbound messed up because the soundtracks are all over the place and have a bunch of horrendous tracks. Just make sure it's mostly consistent in genre and quality, and that it matches the game, and we'll be content.

SobrozaR32

NFS should focus more in street racing culture. Less hyper/super cars, more customization brands from 2000s, more cars that are known for having lot of parts available. I don't like to se a modern BMW with led wheels and cyberpunk influence...

BenR34

Definitely agree with this. NFS strength is its customization and emphasis on illegal racing. Forza horizon and the crew already do the super/hyper car stuff better. I play NFS for the JDM's and muscle cars to customize and upgrade. And for street racing/pursuits which other games don't have.

tsurkaeemaldaja

Bruh, didnt nfs start with super/hyper cars?

KriegOpfer

Just go and play the old games then. Keep your backwards thinking mentality to yourself.

VD3NFS1216

“Keep your backwards thinking mentality to yourself” Bro this post is literally about sharing opinions.

SkodaSnyper2365

Blackpanthaa fanboy 😂

Siul19

I think all the hate is undeserved, with my partner we've been trying the "new" nfs games starting from 2015 as the series was a really fun part of our childhoods, we expected the worst, Ubisoft tier games and found out that while not perfect they aren't mediocre either (except Payback for obvious reasons) we were surprised in a good way and are enjoyable games, unbound has been lots of fun.

VK12rec

I just started unbound and I'm really enjoying it as well. I was a little put off by the cartoony effects in the trailers but they actually work pretty well in game. The burst nitrous is a really fun mechanic as well. I enjoyed payback but the tuning system held it back a lot imo.

SkodaSnyper2365

Unbound has some of the worst characters ever. The only one I’d approve of is Rydell.

RelianceBrand

Need For Speed, regardless of what game it is, is still fun to me at any point, even if the story or cops aren't as challenging. I personally think the community is the huge problem of these games and not just NFS we are talking about. Not every game has to be underground or MW05. Customization, while it is fun to create my own car with bodykits and wraps, etc, I'd rather have a game that's fun and engaging instead of a game trying to be fast & furious. In conclusion, the community is the biggest problem of these games.

[deleted]

The story in Unbound is seriously weak, you only get a handful of cutscenes in the entire game Plus we never meet characters like Mayor Stevenson and Alec, and considering how tied up in the storyline they are I think it's stupid we didn't see then in person

ThatDudeFromPoland

Lane switching in drag races is dumb.

VD3NFS1216

We all know how great Underground and Most Wanted were, but we can’t stay stuck in the past forever. Even if they made sequels to those games, it wouldn’t be the same.

therealtrellan

One thing I liked about Undercover was how nitro would actually make sharp turns easier and faster at the same time.

wortexTM

supercars and hypercars suck, I couldn't care less about them in games and I'll always take the normal street cars over them One exception would be the Veyron but it's just the greatest car ever built imo

GlitchyVanell0pe

Unbound shouldn't have gotten a Year 2. I'd rather they have cut their losses and moved on to NFS 2024/25 than try to salvage Unbound's fundamentally broken multiplayer, especially if EA is gonna continue to starve them of any budget to fund its development.

Poppybits1000

Then thats just another mid game shit on and the cycle will continue. The best way to approach the problem and make a REALLY good game is to have a bigger development time then the amount of years I can count on my finger. If they just cut their losses there, Unbound bleeds out and dies, leaving EA's newest money maker from the NFS franchise dead. EA will see this and decide to kill the franchise once and for all, as the newest game did super poorly and is now dead, so why should they support it? Year 2 was the best course of action. It both kept the consumers happy with new content, and executives happy with sales.

wonderpookie

Worst take ever. Fundamentally broken - lol? The fact that the devs didn't just jump ship and move on speaks volumes about their passion and dedication. And there must be a decent player base if they've decided upon this course of action. Unbound is AMAZING FUN and players appreciate how the devs decided to continue development and polishing up of the game. May good times continue!

rickyramjet

Unbound should get a Year 3.
