The fact that MW 2012 Beta uses the HP 2010 character model doesn't automically mean it's the same protagonist given both NFS HP 2010 and NFS MW 2012 shares the same assets.
Moreover, they're all different persons from their own continuities.

There's a theory floating around about the NFS silent protagonists being the same person. His journey starts from Olympic City in Underground and ends in Ventura Bay in 2015, as of now. I saw a video on YouTube consolidating all the details into a single theory and it considers one of the Rivals pro/an-tagonists to be the "Player" (don't remember if it was F8 or Zephyr), who's also the same guy as Ryan Cooper.
Even the M3 seemed to have a similarly interesting story, which got all fucked up because of what they showed in Heat and Unbound. Sadly, recent devs don't seem to respect or care about the overarching story anymore.
Unrelated, but Grid also seems to have a similar same-guy story, but it has to be at least 2 separate guys, as you canonically start as a rookie at least 2 times. Some even say that the series was rebooted multiple times, but story isn't quite the focus, except for Legends, which was actually good.

One in M3 GTR event and other in the 25th anniversary event

The reason why MW and Carbon have a slight difference is because two different guys were the model. MW was supposedly a man named Paul Walker (not the F&F actor) while Carbon was Craig Sorensen.
I like to think our guy from MW2005 and Carbon is actually Ryan Cooper. In Pro Street, Big Jay (Battle Machine) mentions how Cooper "may be a rookie, but he has been racing for years out there, just no all nice and legal-like," and also that he isn't leaving in handcuffs this time. To me, I feel like they were alluding that connection with some voicelines, but who knows. I could see that guy being MW2012 and HP protagonist as well, whether they be "us" or some silvoiceless,
There is also another "theory" of mine where it could also be Jack Rourke from The Run, loosely based on experience, money + the mob, and his outfit. Really have less grounds for that one though.
