What is the mind-set which allows people to think they can continue with unwanted sexual aggressiveness in this current world of recordings, law suites, and social media?
The stupidest and worst part, as if anything makes this better. He did this with a sexual harassment instructor brought to the school to educate the football team. Some people should automatically be marked as off limits logically. The guy is just broken from what I can tell.
Thank you. I re-read that part 4 times and still thought I read it wrong. He heard a sexual harassment instructor was going to address his team and thought that was the person to hit on?
There's more context than that, in that she visited the school multiple times, and they became friends outside of her appearances/the working relationship. There may or may not have been mutual attraction. BUT... none of that excuses what he did, just saying it wasn't like, hello, Imma jack off.
As a Michigan State fan, I'm glad he's gone, but sad/pissed that the school didn't learn a damn thing from their grossly incompetent mishandling of Larry Nasser.
Yeah. I agree here. There may be more depth to it.
However, I would hope, if I was in his place, I would have the wherewithal to just say to myself. “This is not a person I would ever consider any relationship with”. Not because she’s not a special person. But any person I just met, I would not throw away 95 million for. And her well documented past, and her vocation, it’s just a recipe for disaster. That being said. I have never been in his place, so who knows.
Because they've gotten away with it for so long. Same reason people speed, then flip out when they get pulled over. They're used to feeling like they can get away with things, and many people do their entire lives unfortunately. Remember, most crimes go unsolved/punished, so when you see someone like this getting caught and held (somewhat) responsible, they're in the extreme minority.
You probably want to at least gather evidence that the call occurred so that you can present it to the police, right? Like you don't just let him get away with it.
I’m sure msu is glad to have an excuse to get rid of his $100 mill 10 year contract that was handed because he beat UM ( let’s be honest KW3 beat UM) hope tuck was sending him a thank you card everyday. Seriously though how broken does your brain have to be to do that after coming in after Dantonio basically got retired for having a culture of covering up sexual assaults on the football team 🤦♂️
It’s gotten to the point where I automatically am skeptical of anyone who preaches at you about how they’re a man of faith. Good old family man, tuck came
"Tucker signed a 10-year, $95 million contract Nov. 24, 2021"
Meanwhile, graduate students get paid starvation wages to do much of the actual work of the university.

They'd been in contact for a year at that point. But also, he's married. So be threw away more than just his job.

On average people who are arrested for dui have driven drunk 70-80 times prior
Allow me to offer my insight as a fan of the Bears, whom this man once worked for. He's a giant fucking idiot.
Add to that he was a terrible coach and the University was actively looking for ways to get rid of him and *everyone* knew it. And he *still* did it.
Because he was already getting away with it.
The guy gave up a $95million *guaranteed* contract to have non-consensual phone sex with a sexual assault advocate. What a moron
If I don’t consent, don’t I just hang up the phone? Something smells a bit dutchy to me but I don’t know all the facts either.

Of course not but something seems off here
That would probably be your mental illness given the train of thought you’re presenting to us
Nope not mentally ill just my perspective based on the local media and how it’s been presented.
For context, the woman that was on the other end of the call is a gang rape survivor. Trauma survivors often freeze up when reliving their trauma
80 million? This guy was going to make 80 million if he finished his contract? That's just obscene.
It’s truly remarkable how this moron couldn’t keep his nose clean long enough to collect generational wealth.
Gross. Ick. Eww. Good fucking riddance.
So, he did this to an instructor, there to educate the team on sexual harassment. How is he this stupid?
