This would be miles better if they were in the same room. Same goes for guests, but I doubt guests want to fly to Denver/New York for part of a quarter of football.
Anyways, Coach Prime talking cornerbacks was awesome. Dan Campbell actually seems like quite a dude.
Yeah I get bad for Coach Sanders because both teams going three and out a few times made it have no flow.
Which was a shame because listening to him breakdown secondary was really good.
I haven’t watched a single MNF game on the normal stream when the manningcast is on. Love the format and the guests and their sports knowledge coming out off the cuff
I asked the same question.. why are we kicking. They even were looking at the balls he was supplied with to kick with along with a ref 2x.
During halftime he came out and practiced and was going going to figure out what the fuck is going on.
Then he finally made an XP. So whatever was going on.. bad day, badly inflated foorballs, kicking on grass, whatever...he finally made one.
That m God because Maher has been doing very well lately it was crazy to think all these missed extra points coulda came.back to bite us as instead of a 4 TD lead it was more like 3.
Dak was pissed yelling GO for Fucking TWO on the sidelines.
But when we're playing this good, IT DOESNT MATTER if we missed xps. A.win is a win against a GOAT, On the road, On grass, First road win in 30 years, etc.
Lots of monkeys got thrown the fuck off the backs of the cowboys tonight.
Gonna be much more free going into SF playing a HUGE game against a real deal team.
Keep it going. Enjoy this on the trip home, the. Get ready for a 2.day shorter week than SF has for another road game.
LFG
Has the NFL offensive rookie of the year, and NFL defensive rookie of the year, ever been on the same team in any given year?
It would be crazy if the same team won both awards the same year.
Adam Vinatieri made the Super Bowl-winning kick, but I’d say that Antowain Smith or Troy Brown was the best offensive player on that team. I’d probably give the defense more credit than Brady for the 1st title, but I wouldn’t give NE’s defense the majority of the credit for that title.
I hope maybe he was just upset that he may feel that with all of Tom’s greatness he felt that the defense doesn’t get the respect it should get in his opinion?
Him and Tom are super good buddies off the field so I’d be surprised to hear him speak that negatively.
That wouldn’t surprise me. Truthfully, I’d probably give the defense more credit than Brady for the 1st title, but I wouldn’t give NE’s defense the majority of the credit for that title. Bruschi seems to think NE’s defense the majority of the credit.
Yeah and funny enough as a Peyton Manning fan it's what i always point to as WHY do you think Peyton was 0-3 against Bill and then won every other time he faced Peyton in the playoffs.
Not knocking Tom but those guys held the colts to like under 20 every game and pretty much embarrassed alot of teams and kept every game within reach.
I do understand some of his resentment the bigger Tom has gotten its almost like those first couple SBs have been washed with time and they don't get any credit where as you said they were major players.
Hell I could see Gronk having a similar issue in like 5 years everyone will forget about him.
Gronk’s personality will probably make people remember him. In addition to the defenders, players like Corey Dillon, Antowain Smith and Troy Brown probably have the issue of many people forgetting about them.
Well, he wasn't wrong. The fact remains that Brady has never won shit without an ace D. Now most qbs don't win shit with great D backing them up, so he's still the greatest winning QB ever, but giving him credit for the first ring is like giving Kobe equal credit to Shaq for their first ring or two.
The way Bruschi said it, he made it sound like the defense deserved the majority of the credit for the 1st title. While I’d probably give the defense more credit than Brady for that title, I wouldn’t give NE’s defense the majority of the credit for that title.
I wouldn’t give Kobe = credit for any of those titles. Stopping Shaq was pretty much impossible. But as a Kings fan, I’d give the refs the most credit for the 3rd title.
Honestly a fan of the manningcast. More in depth analysis than the regular broadcast. And when the game is a blowout, the guests and the stories keep it interesting
Yeah I think some people might prefer it over a normal broadcast but the people on Reddit exclaiming over how truly amazing it is have to be lying or something
I swear most of them just read scores, see an occasional highlight and then post here.
If you actively like watching the game they're awful. And if you don't, why are you even watching to begin with.
I prefer it over a normal broadcast. I don't go into the other threads and proclaim that everyone must watch it because it's amazing. You guys however feel compelled to come tell us how it's bad and we should hate it... I just don't understand your reasons...
I enjoy the laughs. I never get sick of Eli being over the top dry and sarcastic. Deion and Dan Campbell are two top tier guests as well. Im not really missing Joe Buck say "Pass is.... caught" For the 79 thousandth time in my life lol.
Me too. It's all so different from the normal NFL broadcast, and while I do appreciate the Joe Bucks, Aikmans, and even the Romos of the sport, this is so beautifully understated and fun.
I don’t even prefer most standard broadcasters, probably only one i enjoy is Harlin. But the Manning cast is even more disjointed than the standard Romo falling in love with his couple qbs and nonstop fangirling over them.
Seriously though, who in the world is up-voting your initial comment. This is a thread specifically for a particular broadcast of a game. People had to come to this thread, disliking it's premise, just upvote your trolling comment. You watched for 5 minutes and didn't like it, fine, it's not for everyone. But the anonymous up voters are blowing my mind right now.
~~Last year~~ two years ago Washington was the only nfc east team in the playoffs, now theyre the only nfc east team not in the divisional round.
EDIT: the last view years have kind of blended together in my mind, thanks corona
Everyone is saying the injury sapped them of their energy. This is true, BUT, the Manningcast is less polished than the normal broadcast. They are both relatively deadpan in their delivery, and lack the "flair" you have in the normal broadcast. To me, this is the beauty of it. These are two incredibly football-smart dudes, hanging out, talking about the game they are watching. The energy they have is proportional to the game they are watching. This isn't Collinsworth trying to inject weight into a Saints/Bears matchup in week 8. It's just two brothers.
Eli got chains? wtf I want a chain. I have no business wearing a chain but I want one so bad. I realize how much of a dork I sound right now but are cuban links pretty legit for a first chain?
Honestly this part of the manning cast sounds like me and my friends playing madden after midnight when everyone is kind of sleepy but everyone wants to keep playing but no one really wants to talk much.
Is it weird that I'm kind of mad that the Bucs are still trying? Like we just saw a serious injury. Do we really need all this posturing for a decided game?
Comes back from commercial at the 2 minute warning and the first thing Peyton talks about is “you don’t want anyone to get hurt”
Yeah that injury is def on his mind

Should cut it down to 1 guest per half too. Give the show room to breathe
Yeah I get bad for Coach Sanders because both teams going three and out a few times made it have no flow. Which was a shame because listening to him breakdown secondary was really good.

If they are bringing in guys like Brady or MCDC during the season, there is no way they would have the time to travel across the country
I haven’t watched a single MNF game on the normal stream when the manningcast is on. Love the format and the guests and their sports knowledge coming out off the cuff
It’s perfect for bad games. They can just shit around.
Exactly. It actually keeps me watching games I’d normally just shut off bc they’re boring
I found an ESPN producer alt
Yea my 10 year old account I made when I was 16 is an ESPN producer alt bc I enjoy listening to two funny football legends watch a game with me.
Same. I have learned so much about football from them. It's my favorite thing to watch and I'm sad it's over for now.
I asked the same question.. why are we kicking. They even were looking at the balls he was supplied with to kick with along with a ref 2x. Pretty sure Alvin Kamara and Marshon Lattimore won OROY and DROY with the Saints in 17-18. Could be wrong though.
you are correct sir!
Anyone else get dbag vibes from Bruschi?
I turned it off when I saw he was coming on. He's very arrogant.
I legit busted out laughing when his son blew him up with that hit. I mean damn he went all out on his old man.
If I speak I am in trouble.
Great football player but seems pretty arrogant. Also spoke kinda down about Tom Brady considering they were teammates for years
Wasn’t watching the Manningcast, I’m genuinely curious on what he said. Could you elaborate?
The main thing I remember is that he basically said that the defense carried NE to their 1st title because Brady didn’t have enough experience.
Which was true. I watched that 2001 Patriots team and their best offensive player at the time was their kicker.
Pretty sure Tom only had like 150 passing yards in that first Super Bowl against the Rams too.
QBs against NE back then fought the Law and the Law won.
I hope maybe he was just upset that he may feel that with all of Tom’s greatness he felt that the defense doesn’t get the respect it should get in his opinion? Him and Tom are super good buddies off the field so I’d be surprised to hear him speak that negatively.

Luckily they had good guests this time.
how do people watch this had to shut if off after 5 minutes.
Some people don’t like nfl, some do. The same with this broadcast.
Yeah I think some people might prefer it over a normal broadcast but the people on Reddit exclaiming over how truly amazing it is have to be lying or something
I watch it cause I enjoy the interactions with their guest. Really enjoyed their talking with the coaches tonight.
I swear most of them just read scores, see an occasional highlight and then post here. If you actively like watching the game they're awful. And if you don't, why are you even watching to begin with.
Idk, it’s not my conference or teams I care about, but I like football, so having it on in the background is nice?
I find it unwatchable most of the time, but on occasion, they go in depth on a play, and then it’s fascinating.
I wouldn't watch it for my team but for random games I am just kinda chilling and watching it is good.
I prefer it over a normal broadcast. I don't go into the other threads and proclaim that everyone must watch it because it's amazing. You guys however feel compelled to come tell us how it's bad and we should hate it... I just don't understand your reasons...

I would shut you off after 5 minutes.
I would too. I don’t aspire to be on a broadcast.
Well then that makes all of us.

They're pats fans
3 NFC East teams in the next round
The never ending switch from NFC Least to NFC Beast
~~Last year~~ two years ago Washington was the only nfc east team in the playoffs, now theyre the only nfc east team not in the divisional round. EDIT: the last view years have kind of blended together in my mind, thanks corona
You mean 2 years ago
You are right
That's crazy. The AFC east was somewhat competitive this year as well.
We were super competitive til like half or 3/4 of the season haha
Still one of my favorite things ESPN has done. I can't wait until next season.
WE NEED A SUPERBOWL MANNING WITH NO COMMERCIALS JUST ELI STARING PLS GOD PLS
Best I can do is a bunch of Burger King, DraftKings, and DirectTV commercials in rotation
WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER! (sorry Vietnam flashback) AT BK! YOU RULE!
See y'all next season!
Love ya bro ………….
Hello darkness my old friend....
🫡 all my Manningcast bros
SAY IT BACK, PEYTON!
Couples therapy incoming
It’s been a pleasure being here with y’all! Enjoy the rest of the season. Manning’s out
Damn Peyton didn't even hit him back with the "luv u 2 man"
Eli: Love you bro. Payton: ...
Peyton knew what he was doing
Eli: "Love you bro. (Say it! Say it!... Ugh)
I’m guessing the injury and them also being friends with Brady, maybe seeing him lose his magic dampened their moods too
"alright... soooo, I'm gonna go nowwwwww... good byeeeee"
8 months until we get another one guys
Gonna miss the bros, might end up watching the pro bowl
The ONLY reason I plan to watch the pro bowl is because of the Mannings.
I’m going to miss the Manning brother banter on Monday Night.
There's always next year, that's the gift of time
And the curse.
Come on Peyton give up those info nuggets
Also, the damn NFC East. Only division not represented in the divisional round last year, has three teams in it
The universe has over compensated and I’m all for it
lmfao the Mannings are petty
What they say?
all game they've been making little remarks
That's what they do. They are comedians, interviewers, and football analysts.
About what?
That's kind of the gig. Making remarks. Commentary. Thoughts expressed verbally.
This is the only game that didn’t go the same way as the same conference/seed game last season.
I've never watched the Manning Cast before. Is it always so low energy?
Everyone is saying the injury sapped them of their energy. This is true, BUT, the Manningcast is less polished than the normal broadcast. They are both relatively deadpan in their delivery, and lack the "flair" you have in the normal broadcast. To me, this is the beauty of it. This isn't Collinsworth trying to inject weight into a Saints/Bears matchup in week 8. It's just two brothers.
It's because of the injury. It just completely drained all their energy, especially Peyton.
I think theyre just sleepy at this point. It was good like 3 hrs ago.
Nah, mix of bad game and a pretty bad seeming injury killed it
Kind of went off the rails after the Russel Gage injury. It was pretty fun before that.
Like usual it was great, but the injury really sapped the energy out of the broadcast.
No, they lost the energy after the injury
I'm sooooo happy I didn't have to listen to Aikman's ass for this already dull game. As a Pats fan... it pains me... but thank you Manning bros.
The Hangover part 4 featuring the Manning brothers
oh, i didn't even realize that was 4th down
Eli got chains? wtf I want a chain. I have no business wearing a chain but I want one so bad. I realize how much of a dork I sound right now but are cuban links pretty legit for a first chain?
Do it bro
I'm not someone who should be able to rock a chain but I got one, my wife loves it. So can confirm ladies love a chain.

Injury, scroll down
Injury killed the vibe they had going, coupled with it being a pretty shit game
Eli “I think spending Monday nights with you is enough of a gift” ohh Eli hahaha, classic Eli comment.
Chad Powers should play for the NFC
GEQBUS' legal NFL immigrant inspiration
Peyton gave Eli an Omaha Productions-branded blanket for Christmas lol
Peyton almost said Hawaii for the probowl, knowing that should be the only place for it to happen
Didn't they close Aloha Stadium?
Well it does mean hello and goodbye
Unless I missed something, yes, from what I recall the stadium was not maintained well.
"You sent me a blanket" damn Eli sounded sad
Honestly this part of the manning cast sounds like me and my friends playing madden after midnight when everyone is kind of sleepy but everyone wants to keep playing but no one really wants to talk much.
Why the Bucs didn’t run the hurry up all game when it’s been apparent Brady is a better play caller than Shitwich is insanity
I love Eli, dude is hilarious
Down by 17, and a guy just got carted off. Just kneel it out. You aren't scoring three times in a minute and a half.
do the Bucs not know they should be going out of bounds???
A half-zip blanket
game was unfortunately over as soon as Brady threw that redzone interception
Brady the only one who wants to keep playing. You hate to see it.
Is it weird that I'm kind of mad that the Bucs are still trying? Like we just saw a serious injury. Do we really need all this posturing for a decided game?
Yeah it's pretty gross. Brady is just refusing to let this game die.
Oh fuck off Todd you lost don't call the time out you piece of shit
that throw was a lot closer than I thought it would be. when I saw Tom wind way the fuck up for it I thought it was gonna be overthrown by like 5 yds
Comes back from commercial at the 2 minute warning and the first thing Peyton talks about is “you don’t want anyone to get hurt” Yeah that injury is def on his mind
That was the best throw Bradys thrown all night
Brady gonna retire to keep from playing with these bums.
boy, that TE moves in slow motion
Oh he should have caught that
pretty fun Manningcast tonight, good sendoff if that's the last for the season. Too bad the game wasn't as entertaining.
dropped it like he was on the 49ers
Bruh you gotta catch that shit
WHOPPER 🍔 WHOPPER 🍔 WHOPPER 🍔 WHOPPER 🍔 JUNIOR 🤏MY WIFE CHEATED ON ME WITH THE GUY NEXT DOOR, MY KIDS CALL HIM DAD NOW. I LIVE IN A SHELTER ......HAVE IT YOUR WAY 🫵 YOU RULE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If they were down by 16 instead of 17 I’d give Brady a chance
Maher actually making a PAT was HUGE
Apple seems to have the worst commercials now. I have a playlist on my phone if apple commercial songs, go back to that
"whats a commerical"
[relevant ](https://youtu.be/jCb-WcxO5SU)
"what's a computer?"
“What gender was that kid?”
I'd take the burger king commercial times 10 over that annoying as fuck apple commercial.
Was that Tobey Maguire in that TurboTax ad
I don’t recommend watching the Gage replay. Tried to get up and his limbs just don’t get up
A very fish-out-of-water type situation. Quite disturbing.
Wow I've never hated anything more than this apple commercial
Noah Brown you've got to feild that special teams have certainly been special today
Another score and another onside , can you imagine, I’d shit
IT'S HAPPENING!!!
Mannings are checked out after that gage injury
One last comeback for THE GOAT.
Wow a rare successful onside recovery by the kicking team.
"a little casual" is right
Brady about to run the 16 point play. I’m only half kidding.
Gotta find that NBA Jam hot spot
Hands guy has no hands
Dallas D tonight looked legit.
Straight up dropped the ball
holy shit a successful onside!!!
Peyton: he did a good job getting himself free for the QB there, don't you think Eli Eli: please stop talking
I don't think I've ever seen a more sad acknowledgement of a touchdown - great play, but the receive just slightly raised his arms and I swear I could hear "why are we still doing this" uttered. Even the 2pt conversion was flawless, but the energy is just weird right now.
Damn I think that's the 1st successful onside kick I've seen all season
Maher was also practicing for them on extra points
Sad Cannons
No lie by Peyton, but go Niners!
The awkward silence from the Mannings as we hear the fireworks from the two point conversion that brings the Bucs up to -17 with 2 min left is...a vibe
Haven't scored in so long the gunpowder went stale.
You reckon Peyton's hair just pops off like a Lego man at the end of the night?
stop saying san fran
We'll get to call it whatever we want fine next week when we own it. Just nice to try it out ahead of time.
San Fran San Fran San Fran
Successful twos: 1 Successful ones: …also 1
Why fire the cannons at this point
Those are some sad sounding fireworks
I couldn't tell if he was in pain or seizing. As someone with epilepsy that shit is scary in the moment
Uh oh
Awkward fireworks
Man the whole spirit of the broadcast just died.
almost sarcastic applause
Keep that ball that's it
Scotty?
This Manning cast is fading in general. Does anyone agree?
No.
You want them to be jovial after a player gets taken off the field with 0 body movement?
No, I'm saying overall. It was a fun gimmick for a couple of weeks. Doesn't seem as interesting.
Eli looks shook
Because nobody is supposed to own Tom like he did
Or he’s upset to have to watch another football player carted off the field after an extended game delay in what seems like a serious injury?
i've never heard a stadium that quiet after a TD
