I know that guy said the main line, but it's crazy that that many just ain't seen the rest of the clip. It's literally like less than 15 seconds, especially without the part where they show why Floyd said "Fuck Fiddy."
Edit: i was actually right on the dot with the timing. I'm so proud of myself.

Look I understand the Chiefs are doing the heavy lifting here but getting to the super bowl is fucking hard, doing it twice is even harder. The Rams are holding their own in this stat.
Yeah that's 2 out of 6. It's not like the Rams are bringing nothing to the table. Nobody would have believed me if I'd said it 10 years ago, but the Rams have been one of the NFC's marquee franchises
No one would have believed it 10 years ago if you said that the Chiefs would have been THE team to beat in the AFC/NFL. Coming off a 9-7 season with no touchdown passes to a WR, still in the playoff win drought, Andy Reid being a positive change but still looking like the coach who couldn't get it done in the postseason... how things have changed and so quickly as well.
It's definitely interesting. One could make the case that the Rams and Chiefs have the two best offensive coaches, the two best defensive players, and 2 of the 10 best QBs in the NFL. I know some people might argue with that last one, but Goff's success with the Lions combined with his Super Bowl run, and Stafford's Super Bowl win with the Rams puts them both firmly in that tier.
Dee Ford ruined the rematch. But it wouldn't have hit the same with no Kupp and a compromised Gurley for us and no Kareem Hunt for them. Football is a cruel mistress
The last 5 Super Bowls has had a QB drafted by Detroit.
Stafford: taken round 1, pick 1 by the Detroit Lions in 2009.
Mahomes: taken round 37, pick 25 by the Detroit Tigers in 2014.
There have been more than a few times where I've seen some Ravens flair make one of those weird, disingenuous "i'm proud of you guys/Ravens fan coming in peace" posts in the Steelers sub and get praised for it. It makes me gag.
The limiter in my mind teams in the same division. Like you better have a great reason like you grew up in one city but your grandpa played or your former classmate or something plays for the division rival (or you're old enough that you grew up as fans of two teams who weren't rivals before division realignment)
Outside of your division, go wild. Maybe a twinge of weirdness if it's two teams that have a ton of hate between them historically but whatever
To an extent. I think Matt Patricia broke him and this move is his best chance for repair. But the real reason I picked up the Jags is because I had a bunch of dreams in a row where I was a wide receiver for them and it essentially brainwashed me into adopting them
> I had a bunch of dreams in a row where I was a wide receiver for them and it essentially brainwashed me into adopting them
Slightly less common than "I grew in X, but my Dad is from Y"
Damn, you really like teams that are known for failing at developing modern quarterbacks, creating exceptional defenses, winning super bowls long ago due to good defensive play, having Matt Forte, and appearing in the 2010 NFC Championship game but losing by 1 score.
This comment was originally a lot longer but tbh a lot of the similarities are coincidental
How do you do a double flair? I grew up a Rams fan, changed to Dolphins when Rams moved, and went back to Rams when they came back, but I like both still
He's not a bad dude by any means. He just has an unlikable demeanor in game. Couple that with a ton of success and people will dislike him.
Outside the game he's a class act.
Manning rubbed me the wrong way for his on field manner as well. I’m from Indiana so I went from the locals praising him to him being a division rival.
This year the WRs just broke Mahomes. He had never had breakdowns on the sidelines until this year. Hopefully Brown, Rice, and Worthy can help keep his sanity. Rice has to stay out of prison though.
While true, what a game that was.
Was at work but had my phone out to watch and had it streaming audio to a big ass speaker and it was *wild*.
Such a fun game to watch, even if I didn't have a dog in the fight.
Best bet would be beating them in the playoffs. That way, you only have to beat them once as opposed to trying to keep their record low enough they don't qualify.
I went to Mexico for that game, greatest time I've ever had seeing the Chiefs lose. Donald was dominant but that's legit the only game I can recall Mahomes blowing multiple chances.
Yea but it was supposed to be in Mexico City so we had to watch it in this huge pavilion instead of going to the game. I'm not complaining, they gave everyone who bought tickets free beer.
Mahomes had 5 turnovers and 2 in the 4th quarter. It's pretty crazy he threw a pick with 1:20 left on the clock and we got the ball back with a minute left. Idk if you can blame the defense there.
He literally set two all-time volume records while throwing a perfect passer rating in a game against the Vikings earlier that year. Neither of which has been broken. That game is 100% the best QB performance i have ever seen
The defense was 100% why we lost. Specifically Orlando Scandrick dropping a would-be interception that hit him in the hands that would have allowed us to kneel the ball out for a win
Because of the rest of his stat line. 33/46 passes, 478 yards, 6 touchdowns.
Were those 5 turnovers a big part of why we lost? Obviously yes. But our defense also gave up 455 yards while he scored 6 times and Kareem Hunt was producing 5 yards per carry on the ground.
Meanwhile the game winning interception literally hit Scandricks hands. Oh and then we gave up a 40 yard touchdown pass!
So while Mahomes deserves criticism, he also managed to keep producing despite the three interceptions. The two fumbles were not good but came from Aaron Donald in his prime abusing our o-line.
For real. It felt like a Friday night lights game, except it was pro and in front of 75,000 people. Way too cool of a setting to let that go unused. But I’m sure the Rams’ owner doesn’t want to lose one game at his new shiny stadium.
Weird thing is the Chiefs had a much better chance of winning 53 and 56 than they did 55. Even weirder that they theoretically could have won the last six Super Bowls. I don't understand this and I fully expect to wake up from this obvious coma eventually.
Fangio Bears were the ones that figured it out. They took Gurley out of the equation and the secondary cleaned up. Everyone credits Belichick, but Fangio was the first to stop them, gave Bill the formula
54-51 wasn't a one-off or a fluke. 2018 Chiefs were the third highest scoring team of all time, and the Rams, 13th highest. Two teams who were loaded with great rosters and coaches and primed to contend for years to come.
Yeah I was debating how far to stretch the analysis, one thing remains true; a team must have a top prospect, franchise QB to consistently contend, and that’s just one piece, I kind of miss the feature back, RB driven offenses, like Curtis Martin, Bettis, Dillon etc… guys that broke the 1000 yards benchmark for 10 years in a row…
Did you know that over the last 2 years, either the Chiefs or the Panthers have played in every superbowl?
What he say fuck me for
The Broncos fucked yo first baby momma, say fuck those guys!
I feel like people don't realize you're just continuing that fifty video...
I know that guy said the main line, but it's crazy that that many just ain't seen the rest of the clip. It's literally like less than 15 seconds, especially without the part where they show why Floyd said "Fuck Fiddy." Edit: i was actually right on the dot with the timing. Clearly not lmao. Thanks for the shoutout haha
Look I understand the Chiefs are doing the heavy lifting here but getting to the super bowl is fucking hard, doing it twice is even harder. The Rams are holding their own in this stat.
Yeah that's 2 out of 6. It's not like the Rams are bringing nothing to the table. Nobody would have believed me if I'd said it 10 years ago, but the Rams have been one of the NFC's marquee franchises
pain
I'd be more inclined to sympathy if we weren't, you know, in a division with the *other* team mentioned in this post . . .
Lmao I didn't even think about that... but still pain
pain
I'd have more sympathy for you and u/joshua0005 if I didn't just live through 20 years of Brady and the Pats :/
Fair
Lol
We can sulk in our sorrows together. Although yours are definitely much greater.
At least we have the Chargers and Cardinals to look down on (or, as they're known to their division rivals: "Who?")
You could always be like Raiders fans and gloat incessantly about splitting the series with us.
Lol, you did check out your team’s roster, right? You’re not looking down on anyone for a while, bud…
I would’ve thought the Mile High air was getting to you. No question.
Nah I'd buy it, the rams have been competently run at various points in their history it's not like it's the browns
McVay is kinda good at his job.
Tom Brady and Blake Bortles have a combined 7 Superbowl wins.
And yet never against each other
Dee Ford ruined the rematch. But it wouldn't have hit the same with no Kupp and a compromised Gurley for us and no Kareem Hunt for them. Football is a cruel mistress
So what you’re saying is if the script writers continue this pattern then the Rams will be in the next Super Bowl
I'll take a Rams Chiefs SB matchup just to make sure this tradition continues
I wish 2018 was that rams chiefs sb rematch
God damn you Dee Ford
It would’ve probably been a way better game
Hard to be worse
chiefs fan so biased, but that was absolutely one of the best damn games ever, maybe the best i ever sawr
13 seconds is the best game I've ever seen. Altho it is slightly bittered by what happened the next week..
That would be among the most hated Super Bowl matchups ever. I'm down.
I'll take some of that.
I like that idea
Sorry, veto.
Hey man, can I borrow your VHS player? I’d like to watch the 49ers last Super Bowl win
Oh my god someone used this joke and it wasn’t at us, hallelujah
I was thinking the same thing lol
Back then we called it a VCR. I never heard "VHS player" until relatively recently.
It’s ok grandpa, go on to bed now.
Wtf is a VHS player? It's called a VCR yo
I’ve heard both tbf
hoping you can adjust tracking properly, reading steve young jerseys may get fuzzy with 30 year old technology
History says the 49ers will *not* be good at tracking properly. Exhibit A; See: Williams, Kyle Exhibit B; See McCloud, Ray-Ray.
Agreed
Almost had that (from a QB perspective) if the Lions had held on to beat the 49ers.
Rams V Chiefs, anyone? Can you let us 3peat tho plz😁
Rams/Texans or something of the sort would actually be so entertaining to watch
Cycle isn’t complete yet, chiefs have to win a couple more
Last year would have been the best for your flair if a few plays went the other way
The lions might have something to say about that
Looks like they're slotted to lose too. 😭😭
Rams won after the Chiefs lost, so you’ll have to wait until Mahomes retires or Brady comes back.
Glad to see someone with media literacy
The last 5 Super Bowls has had a QB drafted by Detroit. Stafford: taken round 1, pick 1 by the Detroit Lions in 2009. Mahomes: taken round 37, pick 25 by the Detroit Tigers in 2014.
More weird QB trivia: the Royals drafted both Elway and Marino in 1979.
Mahomes is the 2nd QB drafted by the Chiefs to win a Super Bowl. The first was Roger Staubach.
JFC how many rounds does the MLB draft have?
20 rounds. But it used to be 40 until they "rightsized" the minor leagues.
Thanks, I hate it. Any way we can ban them from appearing in this year's?
No but can we ban people from having a combined Colts/Bills flair?
What’s wrong with a Colts/Bills flair lol
Their Cheifs flare is afraid of any possible threat.
Hell no Atypical flair combos lets goooooo
Are you some kind of masochist?
Not a masochist but my therapist is very rich lately
Is this trickle down economics?
A Thomas Jones connoisseur, I see
There are limits. Saw someone with Browns / Ravens. Not acceptable.
Mixed AFC North flairs is honestly the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.
A disgusting act!
So many people double up on flairs from one division for attention on here I feel.
There have been more than a few times where I've seen some Ravens flair make one of those weird, disingenuous "i'm proud of you guys/Ravens fan coming in peace" posts in the Steelers sub and get praised for it. It makes me gag.
Those kinds of posts should result in an instaban from both subs.
You don't have to hate the begals, but we can't *like* them. The other two, nothing but utter loathing
I saw an FSU and UF flair combo on r/CFB
That person is either really confused, or just REALLY REALLY hates the Hurricanes lol
Choosing to believe that’s a guy who followed the Ravens to Baltimore and then didn’t know how to deal with the expansion Browns
I'm choosing to believe it's like, a jets fan that just likes making people uncomfortable
The limiter in my mind teams in the same division. Maybe a twinge of weirdness if it's two teams that have a ton of hate between them historically but whatever
I'm just happy my wife picked an NFC team. Makes them a lot easier to root for.
Wtf? We should be allowed to delete flairs
You must REALLY hate franchise QBs in order to have those 2 flairs
Love your style
I want to hate you, but I can’t, because it’s clear that you already hate yourself more than I could ever hate you. Hate hate hate.
We're here! We're weird! Get over it!
What's the story here? Are you a Mac Jones truther?
To an extent. I think Matt Patricia broke him and this move is his best chance for repair. But the real reason I picked up the Jags is because I had a bunch of dreams in a row where I was a wide receiver for them and it essentially brainwashed me into adopting them

I mean, who wouldn't enjoy Matt Forte, he was awesome
Having Thomas Jones AND Matt Forte, in that same order no less
Woop woop!
See, now I have what's got to be a top 3 most common dual flair. I'm a common slut.
one of us!
You think you hate that? That flair combo is basically designed to annoy Pats fans.
How do you do a double flair? I grew up a Rams fan, changed to Dolphins when Rams moved, and went back to Rams when they came back, but I like both still
Go to the sub’s dashboard, you’ll see a button that says dual flair, just follow the instructions in there, and voila dual flair
Any combined flair from the same conference is unsettling, to say the very least
I would like to see the first three peat but I’m sure most folks are over us.
I have a very strong hatred of Patrick Mahomes. I also hate his father, so I always get very angry when he wins football games.
I get the hate for his pops but why jr? For a guy under a microscope he does well.
Best bet would be beating them in the playoffs. That way, you only have to beat them once as opposed to trying to keep their record low enough they don't qualify.
Raiders are gonna work on keeping the Chiefs out of first in the division so y’all can thank us now /s
I went to Mexico for that game, greatest time I've ever had seeing the Chiefs lose. Donald was dominant but that's legit the only game I can recall Mahomes blowing multiple chances.
They moved the game to Los Angeles though, didn't they?
Yea but it was supposed to be in Mexico City so we had to watch it in this huge pavilion instead of going to the game. I'm not complaining, they gave everyone who bought tickets free beer.
That sounds like you'd still lose money. Unless the tickets were really cheap or you drank a ridiculous amount of beer.
They refunded the tickets too I’m sure
That honestly sounds like a really fun experience, despite not being able to be at the game. Lemonade out of lemons I suppose.
I’m glad we both enjoyed watching the chiefs lose that one But on the real, that was maybe the greatest football game ever
At a certain point I truly believe the offense can deflect all blame to the defense in a loss. That line exists somewhere before 50 points.
Mahomes had 5 turnovers and 2 in the 4th quarter. It's pretty crazy he threw a pick with 1:20 left on the clock and we got the ball back with a minute left. Idk if you can blame the defense there.
No you blame the defense for giving up 400 yards and 5 TD’s to Jared Goff.
That was a point in the season where Jared Offense was playing out of his mind, so I cant blame them.
Mahomes choked in the 4th quarter. Kind of strange to hold Scandrick to that level of responsibility but not the guy who had 5 turnovers.
The two fumbles were not good but came from Aaron Donald in his prime abusing our o-line.
lol yea, if you ignore the 5 turnovers he had a great game
People often overlook that 3 TDs in this game were scored by the defense. They made plays too. Scoring plays.
I knew Peters was going to get a late pick. I also knew he would get a pick when the Ravens curbstompped us the next year on MNF
"greatest time i ever had seeing the chiefs lose" Ditto. One of my most fav games ever by miles.
Didnt they end up needing to play in LA? Were you able to make it there in time also?
Niner fans, look away before it's too late
That game was so cool. Memorial Coliseum was the perfect setting for the most entertaining game I’ve ever seen.
High key i really do believe that the rams should play one Primetime game there every year. Such a cool environment at night. I know they won’t.
For real. It felt like a Friday night lights game, except it was pro and in front of 75,000 people. Way too cool of a setting to let that go unused. But I’m sure the Rams’ owner doesn’t want to lose one game at his new shiny stadium.
Only game where we lost that I enjoy watching the highlights of.
Still mad about the fact this was the one prime time game that season that I didn't get to watch because of work. So, so very mad.
This is because of the black magic from that November game in 2018
Given the pattern, I like this. A lot.
Weird thing is the Chiefs had a much better chance of winning 53 and 56 than they did 55. Even weirder that they theoretically could have won the last six Super Bowls. I don't understand this and I fully expect to wake up from this obvious coma eventually.
Both teams lost to the same QB.
The Rams going from scoring 54 points in the regular season to only 3 points in the SB is pretty insane.
What going up against Belichick on the world stage does to a young coach.
What losing Gurley and Kupp does to a Goff
Fangio Bears were the ones that figured it out. They took Gurley out of the equation and the secondary cleaned up. Everyone credits Belichick, but Fangio was the first to stop them, gave Bill the formula
Thanks I hate it.
Turns out that when everyone said that game was the dawn of a new NFL they were actually right
54-51 wasn't a one-off or a fluke. 2018 Chiefs were the third highest scoring team of all time, and the Rams, 13th highest. Two teams who were loaded with great rosters and coaches and primed to contend for years to come.
Coaching is everything.
At one point a few years ago… for like a decade, either a Manning, Brady or Roethlisberger was a starting qb in the sb
2012 being the only one not started by any of those guys, that year was Flacco v Kaepernick
If you make it Ravens, Manning, Ben, Brady, Mahomes, there are 2 exceptions in the last 25 years:2002 Raiders, 2021 Bengals.
And the only QB to play in a Super Bowl on either the Rams or the Chiefs teams in this time frame who did not win a ring is Goff I believe.
Thanks, I hate it.
You’re the third person in this thread to just mindlessly regurgitate that tired old meme comment
True, but I still hate it.
been saying we’ve got a Rams Chiefs Super Bowl looming
Hmm so our turn again I'll take it
As a St. Louisian, I want to jump off a cliff.
As a dude from Canada who loved the Rams in STL, I get it.
Majority being the Chiefs...
The Bengals have played the Chiefs a total of five times, and the Rams three times since that 2018 game.
Since making the playoffs following the 2020 season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made the playoffs every year.
