Went to a Broncos game a few years ago in which they got together all the mascots from Denver pro sports teams along with a few randoms (e.g. people in oversized Mount Rushmore heads) and played as a team against the kids. All of them were basically like this, but Rocky the Mountain Lion (Nuggets) had *absolutely no chill*: not only destroying kids, but taunting them relentlessly and lording over their crumpled bodies. It was amazing.

The thing that worked with Gritty is they established his personality almost immediately when he threatened to kill the Penguins in their sleep. So that just skipped right over the growing pains and he became a fan favorite right off the bat.
In middle school we had a field trip to a big park and played two hand touch football with the teachers. I’m on defense and my science teacher is running up the middle at me. I figure he’s got nowhere to go I’ll just slow up and get the tag. Dude stiff armed me at full speed and sent me flying a solid 10 feet or so lmao.
