There IS a game like this. Blitz: the League with Lawrence Taylor for PS3. You could run your guys on cycles of steroids, there was swearing during game play. You had to fill up a clash meter then it went UNLEASH and you got a killing hit on someone and it cut to an xray of their bones breaking. Every franchise had a different kind of star... one of my best sports gaming moments I ended the career of the biggest young star QB.
Always wished they'd make more games. It wasn't licensed by the NFL obviously, it was LT saying this is what football is actually like
Also the on field brawls, no pass interference penalties, and the unlockable sexy cheerleader babe photos that my 12 year old self really, *really*, enjoyed.
It really is an impressive tackle. Well done Milano - I'm sure that'll be getting a ton of replays in the Bills' film room this week and will be included in highlight films for years to come.
As a lifelong rugby player I'm often critical of tackling standards in American football, with a lot of players seemingly going for massive hits at the expense of technique, but this tackle by Milano was bloody well fantastic and had both power & technique in spades.
I was in philly at a friends place watching this game and viewers far too excited to be contained in homes left them and ran up and down the street and yelled
I’d put it at 9.5/rotisserie chicken, 8/furnace party
This looks really bad. He just released the ball, fully outstretched, and a 220lb man rammed right into his liver and lower ribs. If all he got was the breath knocked out of him, he's one tough mfer.
Edit: oh SHET he's BACK IN?!?? W I L D
"This butt plug should keep enough blood in you to maintain consciousness through the final gun. If there are any book or movie series whose endings you need to know, I'll do what I can."
Did they do some quick imaging on his torso or something before he went back out? That’s a kind of hit that looks like it could cause some internal damage. That was crazy
I got hit similarly by a guy who was comfortably 300 lbs (but obviously not moving as fast) and I basically ragdolled across the field. I popped back up immediately, hyperventilating, but the adrenaline allowed me to keep going without thinking too much about it. I had bruised ribs but not too bad.
This hit is the reason he went to the hospital after the game yes. But he came back into the game after this. Because he is apparently incredibly tough as nails.
Hopefully the hospital trip is just a precaution.
Adrenaline can push you past serious injuries.
I seriously hope there's nothing serious or long lasting here. Obv I'm a Bills fan by my flair, but I'd never wish a serious injury on anyone.
He didn't go to the hospital until after the game, he was taken to the locker room and evaluated during regulation play, then after he came back in and finished the game he was taken to the hospital at the end of regulation.
Still really crazy.
And while he's walking to the locker room, Flacco gives up a fumble on the very next play. Just a brutal series of events. I really hope Mike White's ok because he looked in so much pain.
Either that or those ribs are broken. It's borderline based on where Milano hit him, but I could see the top of Milano's shoulder pads hitting his lower ribs.
The only upshot is that, if you don't see it coming, you don't brace and you go with the contact without absorbing as much of it. That's probably why he was able to come back in.
But yeah, if he fucked up anything it was his ribs.
I can attest to this. I used to do muay thai and got kicked in the liver during sparring. I couldn't even gather strength to stand up for good 5 minutes. Praying Mike is all right, not just as a fan.
Stepdad is a Bills fan so I watched the whole game with him, and had the eagles on another TV. Mike White is a gamer. He got absolutely lit up and finished that game. Hard not to be a fan of that guy.
As a Bills fan I hope he’s okay as well. Got to say the amount of Jets fans actively saying Jets players should start targeting Bills player right now is pitiful. I don’t like the Jets but respect them but those fans are trash human beings for that shit
Leads with his shoulder, doesn't land his body weight on the QB. Probably the hardest clean hit you can make on a QB. Also credit to the refs for not throwing a reactionary flag.
At first I thought the Milano hit didn’t pass the “ don’t land with your body weight” test, but after watching it again you really can see how he catches himself as he’s going to the ground to avoid doing that. He just hit him so fucking hard I thought there was no way he couldn’t have completely followed through with his body weight. Really great awareness by Milano.
Also, the first hit that knocked out White was similar. I can’t remember which Bills player did it, but he did a really great job of knocking the shot out of him but like rolling off of the qb after the hit.
Yeah, there was just no one who even remotely picked him up on a block. Defensive linemen run hard expecting to get deflected by an O lineman, and no one was there.
Was glad to see Matt roll off to the side after the hit so he didn't land on Mike White.
White is tough as nails, it is a brutal sport sometimes.
I did my usual "around the NFL subreddits" postgame perusal and man the Dolphins sub is absolutely embarassing themselves over this tackle
Legit, Jets fans are like "damn that was a violent hit but it was clean, insane. We hung tough though, I'm not too mad about the loss" and Dolpins fans are like "the Bills are the dirtiest team in the league and Milano should get a lifetime ban or possibly a summary execution"
Dolphin fans have become insufferable this season. It happens when teams get really good on a lot of fluke stuff happening.
Meanwhile, Wilkins is one of the dirtiest players in the league now.
I saw this ridiculous tweet from a Dolphins fan, “The NFL needs to investigate Matt Milano. Dude has injured two AFC East QBs this year. The unnecessary hit on Tua which caused the concussion and this one.”
Yeah, that one's going on the "NFL Hardest Hits" highlight reels for a very long time. Absolutely brutal hit almost to the point of being difficult to watch.
Unfortunately we played them in their last Watson-less week.
In general I tend to think people are bad for wanting players to get injured. Am I still bad if I want Watson to get injured considering the circumstances?
I understand that.
That is why I want a hard legal hit. I am also not yet clear with myself how I would react to an rtp against Watson. But I think I would like it.
Fuck the NFL. I don't want to have those thoughts but even less do I want to see that rapist.
Mike White is a dog. I can’t believe he came back in after those two hits. I may need to call into work tomorrow just after watching that and he’s back out there slinging the ball around. No wonder his team loves him.
Oh my God I fell out of my chair watching this live, thanks for the upload I was trying to find it to show my buddy how they ABSOLUTELY BODIED THIS MAN
Is this new? Like, the second time he's left the game??
First time he was out for ~2 plays, kids tough as fuck but this hit was fucking brutal
Fkin Goldberg-like spear
His knees almost touched his forehead
[удалено]
Yeah
Big oof
Yeah he got hit pretty similarly like this in the first half
Legitimately one of the most violent clean hits I’ve ever seen
Looked like a video game finishing move cutscene.
Mortal Kombat about to add this one to the fatality list.
Jokes on you, it already is in MK11.
They wouldn't have to change the animation at all, just have the body separate into halves.
Just needs the zoom-in X-ray of all the ribs just exploding.

Dude, I still load up blitz the league 2 every year before football season starts, been a tradition of mine since it came out
Honestly he better hope it's just ribs.
Captian Insano shows no mercy
That's insaneo!
hmmm, well gentleman that brings me to my next point - [don't...smoke...crack!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfHOQAT0-Mk)
Mike White has gotten 2 absurd hits today, but both full by the books. Football can fuck you up man
I am a fan of Mike White. What I saw him fight through today was damn impressive
It really is an impressive tackle. Well done Milano - I'm sure that'll be getting a ton of replays in the Bills' film room this week and will be included in highlight films for years to come. The earl thomas on Gronk hit is the one that comes to mind first for me, but this was a brutal hit as well.
I'll always be partial to the time Kam Chancellor took the Niners to the clinic and obliterated VD.
Every hit Kam Chancellor delivered looked painful.
He was the heart and soul of the Legion of Boom
The phrase, "took the niners to the clinic and obliterated VD", just makes me think venereal disease. That's fucking impressive.
That's why we called him Kam "Penicillin" Chancellor.
It’s close but I think this is worse. Gronk drops hard for sure but White looks like he gets hit by a fucking bull
Gronk got hit higher in the chest, while White gets hit in the lower ribs/diaphragm area. This is definitely worse.
Sheldon Brown obliterating Reggie Bush will always be my favourite hit.
most violent thing a man named Sheldon has ever done.
I was in philly at a friends place watching this game and viewers far too excited to be contained in homes left them and ran up and down the street and yelled I’d put it at 9.5/rotisserie chicken, 8/furnace party
Do attend
[Clip here.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciZkMeNuipQ)
Stopping a shaved polar bear like Gronk dead in his tracks is terrifying.
The sandwich comment is retroactively 👨🍳🤌

Was about to say, I don't think Roman, Edge or even Goldberg in his prime have ever made a spear look that brutal. Yeesh.
Don't ask a Dolphins fan. They think Milano should be kicked out of the league.
Dolphins fans have really gotten obnoxious this season
For pushing tua.
Google Mike Stratton " hit heard round the world". Also by a Buffalo Bills linebacker !
You can literally see him screaming in pain there
Honestly I wouldn't blame him if he decided he doesn't like this game anymore after that. That was rough as fuck.
That was getting LIT UP
Folded in half. Brutal.
This looks really bad. He just released the ball, fully outstretched, and a 220lb man rammed right into his liver and lower ribs. If all he got was the breath knocked out of him, he's one tough mfer. Edit: oh SHET he's BACK IN?!?? W I L D
Doctor prolly told him he only has a few hours to live. May as well go back out and give it a shot
Doctor told him he's not Zach Wilson and to get his ass back out there.
Doctor told him Zach Wilson was gonna be put in.
Put him down, I am going back -Mike White
Last game of your life, can't hold anything back now.
"This butt plug should keep enough blood in you to maintain consciousness through the final gun. If there are any book or movie series whose endings you need to know, I'll do what I can."

It's probably just a couple broken ribs. Just rub some dirt on it and you can go right back in.
They gave him an x ray and it turns out that he had that dog in him
I have watched a lot of football and that is one of the nastiest shots I have ever seen. The fact he walked off show what a tough SOB the kid is.
He's back on the field now.
Holy fuck
That's my quarterback!
Is second impact syndrome for your internal organs a thing? Jeez
His organs are now jelly
Wait, this *wasn’t* the hit that sent him to the hospital??
This hit is the reason he went to the hospital after the game yes. But he came back into the game after this. Because he is apparently incredibly tough as nails. Hopefully the hospital trip is just a precaution. Adrenaline can push you past serious injuries. I seriously hope there's nothing serious or long lasting here. Obv I'm a Bills fan by my flair, but I'd never wish a serious injury on anyone.
Damn idk why I thought you couldn’t return to the game if you left for the hospital. Maybe it just never happens so I made that up
He didn't go to the hospital until after the game, he was taken to the locker room and evaluated during regulation play, then after he came back in and finished the game he was taken to the hospital at the end of regulation. Still really crazy.
Ah that makes a lot more sense, thanks!
You are better off getting punched in the solar plexus while reaching up for the sky by Mike Tyson
I thought my stream randomly started replaying...I couldn't believe he got obliterated *again* Jeez
That's not even an exaggeration.
Dude got folded so hard he became Scorigami
*WITH GOD AS MY WITNESS HE IS BROKEN IN HALF!*
For real Milano hit him with the spear like Goldberg
By Gawd! This ain’t right!!
I hear it in JR's voice.
Ok, I asked for the Lions flair, now who decided to be cute and give me the Vikings.
Dude got folded up like a piece of origami, holy shit.
Like a folding table
The arch enemy of the Bills mafia.
I don't know what I did or who I hurt... I just started to black out and everything became tables...
Mike White has committed an act of origami!
And while he's walking to the locker room, Flacco gives up a fumble on the very next play. Just a brutal series of events. I really hope Mike White's ok because he looked in so much pain.
Hopefully just got the wind knocked out.
Looked like he got hit in the liver area, those kind of shots knock pro boxers out.
getting hit in the liver is natures reset button for humans
Either that or those ribs are broken. It's borderline based on where Milano hit him, but I could see the top of Milano's shoulder pads hitting his lower ribs.

He was screaming in pain before he hit the turf.
As a Bills fan I hope he’s okay as well. Got to say the amount of Jets fans actively saying Jets players should start targeting Bills player right now is pitiful. I don’t like the Jets but respect them but those fans are trash human beings for that shit
Taking that hit would make me simultaneously puke and shit
I think I would just evaporate
No joke - getting hit like that probably *kills* 75% of people in the world.
> No joke - getting hit like that probably kills 75% of people in the world. Imagine hitting someone so hard you kill 75% of the people in the world.
5% being athletes, the other 20 percent being obese Americans and Europeans that have that extra natural padding.
Hey, I'm one of those two groups! :)
That was a vicious hit. Dude got folded in half
Milano is a menace to society
Is this how Zach Wilson gets his job back?
Zach Wilson is inevitable
Fear it, run from it, the Zach "MILFs are better then football" Wilson arrives all the same.
Every Jets fan knew this would somehow happen
Karma 20 years later for bledsoe? Zack rallies behind your elite defense to win it all becomes good then gets 2 more in 2025-26?
Jets are trying to pull a reverse Mo Lewis on themselves.
And Flacco immediately fumbles because he’s washed
The most washed
Except against Cleveland
Flacco has no business still being in the NFL.
Bills want the Jets to play Wilson which might be against the Geneva convention
He’s inactive. It’ll be Flacco or Berrios.
Leads with his shoulder, doesn't land his body weight on the QB. Probably the hardest clean hit you can make on a QB. Also credit to the refs for not throwing a reactionary flag.
Both hits were clean, both hits incredibly difficult to watch
Really impressed with Mike White so far, but he really needs to learn it’s ok to take a sack if he’s protecting himself from a free blitzer
Notice how many times he just chucked it into the dirt after he came back from the second hit.
ya man I hope mike white it okay. just a brutal hit
Apparently everything after the game looked fine, he’s at the fucking hospital though just in case. My guess is they’re looking for internal damage.
Apparently everything after the game looked missing, he’s at the fucking build a bear just in case. My guess is they’re looking for stuffing
prayers up. I'm shocked he finished the game
Yeah, just bad luck since getting hit while throwing is like peak vulnerability
At first I thought the Milano hit didn’t pass the “ don’t land with your body weight” test, but after watching it again you really can see how he catches himself as he’s going to the ground to avoid doing that. He just hit him so fucking hard I thought there was no way he couldn’t have completely followed through with his body weight. Really great awareness by Milano. Dolphins fans will still say hes a dirty player for shoving Tua.
Meanwhile they're out there defending the dick-twister like he did nothing wrong.
I did my usual "around the NFL subreddits" postgame perusal and man the Dolphins sub is absolutely embarassing themselves over this tackle Legit, Jets fans are like "damn that was a violent hit but it was clean, insane. Dolphin fans have become insufferable this season. It happens when teams get really good on a lot of fluke stuff happening. Meanwhile, Wilkins is one of the dirtiest players in the league now.
Holy shit you weren't kidding, embarassing from them
It's worse than usual, there's one guy like "guys it was a pretty clean hit" and he got dumpstered lmao
On par with the most upvoted comment calling for Milano to be kicked out of the league.
They have a player who is literally well known for grabbing and twisting dicks/balls at the bottom of the pile. The utter hypocrisy.
What a wild week. "Dirty shove on Tua...who's totally fine by the way..."
I saw this ridiculous tweet from a Dolphins fan, “The NFL needs to investigate Matt Milano. Dude has injured two AFC East QBs this year. The unnecessary hit on Tua which caused the concussion and this one.”
> The unnecessary hit on Tua which caused the concussion and this one. but the very trustworthy Miami doctors and fans said it was a back injury.
It’s a rough sport
He just came back, Mike white is unbreakable
Mike "The Anvil" White
Jesus Christ dude came in like a missile
Fuck this man why can’t the jets have anything. 3 of our best players today
Game completely changed when Quinnen went out
Football gods saying “it ends here”
I could feel his ribs breaking from here
HI! I'm Mike White and this is the Milano pass rush" *Jackass music plays*
That’s Tribal Chief stuff there.
Mike white just acknowledged the head of the table
Could practically see the Mortal Kombat x-ray vision of the damage here
And he’s back in mother fuckers
Yeah, that one's going on the "NFL Hardest Hits" highlight reels for a very long time. Absolutely brutal hit almost to the point of being difficult to watch.
Perfect form tackle too to avoid any roughing the passer shenanigans
How in the world is this man back in the game? What an absolute demon.
Fuck man, hope he's okay that was a huge hit
Hardest clean hit I’ve ever seen
That dude's got his ribs in different zip codes now
Looked like a table in the parking lot pre-game
milano is playing like an all-pro this year
I can’t believe he came back in after this
That looks bad. Are the Bills still playing the Browns? If so, I'd like to see that move again.
He’s going back in the game again this man has a death wish
Sucks he was injured but that's a damn good tackle
Folded like origami and sent to the shadow realm I cannot believe he went back into the game from this
Please be okay Mike White 😰
Being a Jets fan is fucking miserable
Holyshit. That was full speed, was that guy unblocked?
Yep, and that was the second unblocked hit to his midsection he's taken this game. I'm assuming his ribs are dust by now.
He took at least 2 more after that too.
🎶you think you know me🎶
Holy shit I expected the Jackhammer and pin after that spear. Hope he didn't get too hurt from that tho.
If that was Tom Brady the refs would have made Milano dig his own grave and then executed him into it right there at the 50
Tom Brady doesn’t put himself in a position to get hit like that, which is why he’s still playing at 74
Mike White is a dog. I can’t believe he came back in after those two hits. I may need to call into work tomorrow just after watching that and he’s back out there slinging the ball around. No wonder his team loves him.
The slow-mo made it look like a cartoon
GETTING ABSOLUTELY OBLITERATED AT HIGHMARK STADIUM
How many flags if this is Mahomes?
Unlikely KC lets a linebacker bullrush Mahomes basically untouched when hes looking the other way.
Lmao that twitter comment “the nfl needs to investigate Matt Milano”
Milano. The clean qb killer.
Clean hit, but 100% would’ve been a flag on a more high-profile QB.
[удалено]
On Brady, it would probably be an ejection
On Cam Newton, the ref would’ve let the defender do that every play
On cam the ref would pretend to help him up, only to push him down and walk away laughing.
Oh my God I fell out of my chair watching this live, thanks for the upload I was trying to find it to show my buddy how they ABSOLUTELY BODIED THIS MAN
If that hit were on Brady Milano would have been banned from the NFL
Brady would never put himself in that position.
HOW IS IT BACK
Milano channeled his inner Goldberg
Milano treating Mike white like a white folding table.
Mike Blackandblue.
He got destroyed holy shit
White was literally bent in the half with that hit
All-Pro Milano!
And yet some how the hit on Herbert is RTP. Smh
