Pinky Swear in Rogers, hidden for sure. Small menu but designed by a top notch, locally known chef. Do it. And the space is amazing. Fills up quick. Get there early or have rezzies.
Asian Fusion in Rogers, really hole in the wall but GREAT food. Best crab rangoons ever, nothing compares.
El Cunado is great mexican food
Best Salvadoran food--Pupuseria #1 in Rogers, and La Sirinita in Springdale
Peru FT (food truck) in Rogers is a new little gem
Punjabi kitchen in Rogers is GREAT Indian food.
I would say another great Salvadoran place, and my personal favorite, is El Jazmin in Rogers! The staff is super nice. Just a quiet little mom and pop shop. Get the pupusa locas!
I just ate at Punjabi the other day!!! Best goat curry I've ever had. Their shahi korma and samosas are to die for, too.
If you enjoy Vietnamese food, Pho Thanh has awesome food! Love their cha xiu banh mi and their pho broth reminds me of home.
Likewise, Bucks of Asia was really good when I lived in Fayetteville. I still get a mad hankering for their lemongrass pork.
Not a hole in the wall, but the best, unique, consistent, and affordable restaurant in NWA, in my humble opinion, is Kosmos in Fayetteville. I really wish he’d open a second location to the north.
Has changed owners, raised prices, and lost a lot of business in the last few years. Used to be packed. Was good when it was good
ETA Copper and Cream catering for the family meals in big pans stuff (same original recipes), and Honeywheat for deli sandwiches quick lunch (former employee)
Two burger places in Fayetteville that I would argue are better than Hugo's are Art's Place and the Ozark Lanes Cafe. They don't win many points in ambiance, well Art's certainly has an aesthetic, but the food is great.
I agree Feltner's has a great burger but I wouldn't say it's **far** better than the others. If you're going on food alone, and not including restaurant vibes, then Feltner's, Ozark Lanes Cafe, and Art's are probably the top 3 burger spots in Fayetteville. Imo it's a pretty close race with none of them necessarily standing out above the rest. When it comes to food, in the end the only opinion that really matters is the person's who's doing the eating.
Very true, but the quality and the consistency of Feltner's is worth the drive. Consistency is damn hard, and they got it.
They also get points for the calibration of their soda fountain. Best Coke I've had outside of a McDonalds.
And their employees, which are always great. Damn, I want Feltner's for lunch now.
Zary’s Acropolis in Bentonville is the most underrated restaurant in the area, IMO. I have lived in Bentonville my whole life and just recently went there for the first time last month. I will be going back.
Is witching hour good?? I live not too far from there and it always smells nice every time I pass the area but never try because the place doesn’t look promising lol
For burgers, try the Witching Hour food truck off of A street.
Don’t think I’ve ever had a burger as good as their King of the Monsters (all their stuff is named spooky/horror movie things).
- Patrick's in Springdale is a tried and true staple for a good smash burger.
- Little Greek in the Fayetteville mall has hands down the best gyro and fries. Yes, I realize it is in a food court, but they are 100% still the best at what they do. Even after trying all the other options here.
- El Pueblito in Centerton is great. I moved away and came back and they are still my preferred place for Mexican food here. I'm sure I'm missing other great places, but since 2020 my other preferences got bought out or something, and they just aren't good anymore.
- I've still not been able to find a place with great wings (crazy being so close to Tyson HQ) or hibachi, but I look forward to reading this thread for reqs.
Pizza Navona in Farmington!! Their first location is Geraldi’s by the university, but Pizza Navona has just as good food with better parking!!! Locally owned as well.
My family and I loved Acambaro until we got food poisoning. The location we got it from was in Bentonville (which had two restaurants). Both have since closed. Needless to say, we avoid all remaining Acambaro locations.
We go to the one in Rogers. They're not open currently after the tornado.
We have never had any issues.
I've been a couple dollars short before getting crazy buying drinks and they've let me come back and pay off the tab.
The staff is always super nice and will let my kids pick a channel on the tv if it's not being used.
Sorry you had a bad experience though
I've never been to the one in Bentonville.
I sincerely disagree. There is so much good Mexican food in Rogers & Springdale that this is a bad recommendation.
Their beef is always incredibly dry and totally without flavor or spice of any kind. Like, Taco Bell meat is actually better seasoned.
We love Susan's for breakfast, but also Spring Street in Springdale. Also Taqueria Don Guero on Emma in Springdale has the best tortas. Agree with Hugo's, burgers and fries are great. We recently stumbled upon Mel's Diner in Prairie Grove...great diner food.
nothing fancy, but yummy house next to las fajitas is a good value Chinese place that also happens to serve sushi.
Pho Kitchen next to Freddy's is really good.
The Wooden Spoon will change your life. Small but packed restaurant owned by Mennonite’s. Good home style country food. My favorite is their potato soup!
The Mess hall off of Mission and Crossover. Maybe still undiscovered?
2nd Toot Beirut, have the blueberry lemon cake OMFG.
Heirloom is a great experience, worth the trials to get in. Be prepared to drop Ruth’s Chris money.
Pizzeria Ruby for sure best pizza. You can have a gelato waffle cone while you wait!
Tables on 6th never disappoints.
We’re big fans of Takashimura food truck in Rogers. The crab rangoons are amazing.
Just recently tried Marsoul’s in Rogers (caddy corner where Susie Q used to be) and will definitely be going back. The chicken and waffles were top notch. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked incredible.
Baking in Wonderland in Bentonville. Used to be Pats bakery but their food quality is still just as good as Pat's was since they use their recipes. Great place to have breakfast and their lunch specials are always top notch! Get their quiesh , a coffee, or grab a Concha (hispanic sweet bread) they make the best!
Wonderful bread and baked goods!!
The best Cubano is at the Havana Grill in downtown Rogers.
Actually, everything there is incredible & you can get really tasty maduros or tostones as a side for your entree!
Pleasant Counter in Springdale is the best burger in NWA. Family run. Won a regional burger contest. Fried Pies rule too. All cooked in beef tallow. Old School.
Lots of food trucks from me:
Mai Chinese food truck in Bella Vista.
Nagura Venezuelan food truck in Springdale
Food therapy soul food truck I don't think it has a permanent spot
Bottle rocket subs food truck in Fayetteville
Pinoylicious Filipino food truck in Bentonville
Burger: Art’s Place (Fayetteville). Just a little dive right on College Ave. The burgers are amazing. No idea why. But I need them in my life. I’m shocked no one has said Art’s yet.
I’ve only deviated from the burger once and got the Italian Sammy. It was good but too olive rich for me personally. I decided though it was the worst decision I’ve ever made (culinarily lol). Will not order anything but burger (but will obv try from everyone’s plate!!!) the burger is just that good tbh
Bobos ribbon ice and boba tea
Vargas fruiteria. Agua fresca, mangonada, shakes, rolled ice cream, bubble waffles, fruit concoctions, elote, etc etc etc $$
BoMi boba and banh mi
China Cafe in Rogers (chicken w cilantro n onion)
Roll n Fold just changed locations
Petra Cafe baklava and foule and hummus
Crepes Paulette now also in Fay
Tangs market groceries but also deli BBQ and steamed buns to take away
Asian amigo banh mi are pretty good too
Capriccio
Spoon has the best kimchi
Arkanseoul is good
Gold Town k BBQ is the only table grill k BBQ place around, it was better when it first opened. I would NOT eat at any other places in that strip
House of Taste Korean food is good but kind of chaos. They can be out of stuff, slow service, or straight up tell you no if she thinks you wont like it. Nice owner, used to run the Korean market on S School
New place in downtown Siloam AM eats and treats. Breakfast and boba tea. It's good but it's in siloam
HangryPedalerNWA on IG posts new places all the time
Toot Beirut in Rogers is also BA for Middle Eastern food
This. Toot Beirut has incredible food
Try the knafe, it's life changing
SaiWok in Rogers, smoked pork belly fries are crack.
The Brussels sprouts are amazing!
I have just recently discovered this magical place!
Wife and I go 30 minutes 9ut of our way for these fries. Pro tip, nicely ask for extra pork belly!
I haven't had the fries, but I definitely echo the recommendation for this place!
Pinky Swear in Rogers, hidden for sure. Small menu but designed by a top notch, locally known chef. Do it. And the space is amazing. Fills up quick. Get there early or have rezzies.
Even better is their restaurant, Heirloom at the 1907. It is extremely limited seating though, and is booked out a month in advance.
Asian Fusion in Rogers, really hole in the wall but GREAT food. Best crab rangoons ever, nothing compares. El Cunado is great mexican food Best Salvadoran food--Pupuseria #1 in Rogers, and La Sirinita in Springdale Peru FT (food truck) in Rogers is a new little gem Punjabi kitchen in Rogers is GREAT Indian food.

Ok I'm at La Sirinitas right now because of your comment and WOW! So good!!! Me and my family came, and loved everything we got.
Oh that's great! Glad you love it!
I live a half mile from La Sirinita. Fantastic food!!! Not just the pupusas!
If you enjoy Vietnamese food, Pho Thanh has awesome food! Love their cha xiu banh mi and their pho broth reminds me of home. Likewise, Bucks of Asia was really good when I lived in Fayetteville. I still get a mad hankering for their lemongrass pork.
The old man at Bucks of Asia is the SWEETEST too. I always tip him extra 😭
Not a hole in the wall, but the best, unique, consistent, and affordable restaurant in NWA, in my humble opinion, is Kosmos in Fayetteville. I really wish he’d open a second location to the north.
Agree
Monte Ne Chicken (which is none of the things you asked for, but it’s delicious)
Live right next to the restaurant the only time it isn't extremely busy is when it's closed
Meh. It either used to be, or nostalgia has clouded my memory. Every time I've gone in the last 10 years, it's been thoroughly mediocre.
Casa Alejo in downtown Springdale is my current favorite.
The Wooden Spoon in Gentry Arkansas. Worth the little drive.
Has changed owners, raised prices, and lost a lot of business in the last few years. Used to be packed. Was good when it was good ETA Copper and Cream catering for the family meals in big pans stuff (same original recipes), and Honeywheat for deli sandwiches quick lunch (former employee)
Oh Honeywheat for sure is a good lunch spot! Wooden spoon definitely isn’t what it used to be.
Burgers: Hugo’s (Fayetteville), Westside (Springdale), Ron’s (Bentonville) Wings: the Rail (Rogers) Hibachi: Meiji (Fayetteville) I think is underrated Breakfast: Susan’s (Springdale)
Two burger places in Fayetteville that I would argue are better than Hugo's are Art's Place and the Ozark Lanes Cafe. They don't win many points in ambiance, well Art's certainly has an aesthetic, but the food is great.
Is Art’s still smoking? If so, OP needs to be forewarned that they’ll need to go home afterward to change.
Arts is till smoking
It is, but they do have a patio area in the back that I've never had issues with related to smoke smells.
Agreed. Arts is better than Hugo's. So is Feltners IMO. I do like Hugo's I just hate the ambience down there. It's deafening.
We haven't been to the bowling alley since it was Pete's place, is it really that good?
Really depends on your burger preference. I'm a sucker for your basic no frills greasy spoon type burger and I think Ozark Lanes nails that.
Feltner's in Fayetteville is far better than any of the burger places you mentioned.
I agree Feltner's has a great burger but I wouldn't say it's **far** better than the others. If you're going on food alone, and not including restaurant vibes, then Feltner's, Ozark Lanes Cafe, and Art's are probably the top 3 burger spots in Fayetteville. Best Coke I've had outside of a McDonalds. And their employees, which are always great. Damn, I want Feltner's for lunch now.
Patrick’s burgers in Springdale is miles better than Westside.
Idk about miles, but they make a solid burger too - always forget about that place
Zary’s Acropolis in Bentonville is the most underrated restaurant in the area, IMO. I have lived in Bentonville my whole life and just recently went there for the first time last month. I will be going back.
Massive diarrhea after eating here. Nope.
Their breakfast is really good
If we tell you our hidden spots, they’re no longer hidden…
Burgers - Witching Hour Food truck off A Street in Bentonville Pizza - Odd Soul in Springdale Steak - Does Steakhouse
Is witching hour good?? I live not too far from there and it always smells nice every time I pass the area but never try because the place doesn’t look promising lol
The burgers are good, look at their menu as they have some interesting combos
2nd ALL of these!
House 1830 in Downtown Rogers.
The Bentonville hot from first seat pub & grille is fantastic, and big lieutenants burger is awesome
Second First Seat. Their pickle fries are amazing
Charleys taqueria in springdale.
My favorite Mexican place in the area. Might have to go tomorrow to get a torta.
Same! The street tacos are my go-to, but the tortas are delish!
For burgers, try the Witching Hour food truck off of A street. Don’t think I’ve ever had a burger as good as their King of the Monsters (all their stuff is named spooky/horror movie things).
Guidos in Tontitown for pizza. Geraldis in Fayetteville for Italian.
There's a Guidos in Springdale as well.
Lucky Luke’s for wings.
Takashi food truck in rogers by City Pump for good hibachi
Pizza Navona in Farmington!! Their first location is Geraldi’s by the university, but Pizza Navona has just as good food with better parking!!! Locally owned as well.
Acambaro Not sure if that's a hole in the wall restaurant but it's my families favorite.
My family and I loved Acambaro until we got food poisoning. The location we got it from was in Bentonville (which had two restaurants). Both have since closed. Needless to say, we avoid all remaining Acambaro locations.

It's what me and my family like🤷
Petit Bistro. French gem!!
Hugo's burgers are just frozen Angus patties from Sam's club. They are ok but not something I would recommend.
Buttered owners are Trump lovers. Not getting my business.
The guy went on a racist hate speech bit at Arkanseoul too https://www.reddit.com/r/bentonville/comments/rd8fgd/story_between_arkanseoul_and_bb_owner/
Okay. Where do you recommend?
He doesn’t. He’s suffering severe TDS still. Buttered biscuit is a good spot.
That’s a dumb reason. Are they flying trump flags out front? Nope.
The owner parks his car in the lot that has QAnon ramblings and numbers all over the back of it.
I aint talking...
CJ Butcher Boy Burgers in Fayetteville
nothing fancy, but yummy house next to las fajitas is a good value Chinese place that also happens to serve sushi. Pho Kitchen next to Freddy's is really good.
I need to check that place out. Get my haircut next door but never seem to have time before or after.
The Wooden Spoon will change your life. Small but packed restaurant owned by Mennonite’s. Good home style country food. My favorite is their potato soup!
They changed owners 2+ years ago, no longer Mennonite. Not as good as it used to be
Ah damn
Boba Cafe and More in Springdale. It doesn’t look like much, but nothing is prepared beforehand. It takes a while to get your food but it is WORTH IT!
Indian Punjabi in Springdale is also amazing!!!
Priatos pizzería over by lawerence plaza one of the best thin crust in the area
The Mess hall off of Mission and Crossover. Maybe still undiscovered? 2nd Toot Beirut, have the blueberry lemon cake OMFG. Heirloom is a great experience, worth the trials to get in. Mess Hall 45 is 👍
Angler’s outside of Eureka Springs is our go-to. Veteran owned and the best catfish tacos I’ve ever had.
Did someone buy it from F. Green?
She said she was a family member of his. Uncle maybe.
Pleasant Counter for burgers. Very small and simple menu but they hammer it out of the park.
Takashi Hibachi food truck in Rogers. It’s by City pump on Walnut.

Lucy’s diner. 24 hours diner in Roger’s.
Got destroyed in the tornado. Hopefully they’re gonna rebuild.
Esan in Springdale (NOT FAYETTEVILLE, that place is trash)
If you want real quality sushi, Kobe Sushi is the best in town. Best service too.
Big lieutenant has the best burger in NWA imo
The meatball sub has three (3) small meatballs for $17. I felt like such a sucker.
Brisket sandwich is amazing
Ok fine I’ll try that next time! :)
My comfort food ever since I moved here is Pho Kitchen. Both the Pho and the Fried Rice are amazing!
The rail in Rogers has the best wings, and salads. The pizza is good too but not as good as Pizzeria Ruby or MJ Pizza.
