We had the beige kind with the lid that had the stopper on top. It was MY Kool-Aid pitcher so of course, I would just take the lid off and drink straight from it.
Get home from school, go to the fridge, start to drink my kool-aid and do a spit take. My mother filled it with dad's tomato juice. To this day, I don't even want tomato sauce on my pizza.
omg core memory. I remember mixing a can of [Minute Maid orange juice](https://www.reddit.com/r/nostalgia/comments/llcp66/minute_maid_frozen_orange_juice/) into this during summertime
We had an actual Kool Aid man pitcher that we got from turning in the points from the packets, before that it was the bog standard cylindrical pitcher.
Lemonade with lemons and chunks of ice floating around. Or it was ice cold apple juice that was diluted. Pops would have mercy and throw in a whole chilled bottle of apple J sometimes.
Oh no, that’s wrong. That’s the one the tube of frozen orange juice goes in. The kool-aid is in the round one with that plunger button on top that seals the lid in place.
No that's the lemonade pitcher. The cool aid is in the taller pitcher with the ribbed lid that has the button in the middle.
that one (ours was orange) was the tea pitcher.
Ours was the tea pitcher too, but it was brown.
PEA TITCHER
We had official drinkware for Kool-aid
This was 100% our lemonade pitcher
We grew up together, didn't we?
Or… it was just a popular pitcher at the time and the company made more than one.
And the accompanying spillage when pouring.
Correct! It pours like crap!
Red sticky liquid all of the counter.
I literally taste and smell lemonade when I look at this
Sameeee my dad always added lemons to the kool-aid 🫶🏾

that defines cruel and unusual punishment!
That’s like the time I accidentally grabbed the orange juice and thought it was the milk. I almost hurled.
Grape was the best 🍇
I believe you mean "purple stuff" 🤣
I want some of dat purple stuff lol
TBF, I would have them, and still probably would take purple stuff over Sunny D. [That's Drink!](https://youtu.be/uu7bv7Ce8-Q?si=ksZeNHrNn3HUcPf0)
What the fuck is juice????
way better than Sunny D
Sugar. Water. Purple.
I keep a pitcher of both grape and pink lemonade stocked in the fridge for my kiddo.
Ours had orange juice made from frozen concentrate.

Or OJ made from frozen concentrate.
Oh, the nostalgia that fills me with that image! That was the best aftertaste after a long day at school.
We had an actual Kool Aid man pitcher that we got from turning in the points from the packets, before that it was the bog standard cylindrical pitcher.
We didn't make it all the way to the pitcher but we had the cups
All I see is Crystal LIght
My mom would leave one in the fridge with the top off full of carrot and celery sticks. A nice crisp snack
The handle broke off of ours every time we got a new one.
I can feel the AC on my face and taste the red kool-aid after running around outside all day.
We had our Puffed Wheat in one of these.
Wow so we all just went through the same stages of life? Lol makes me emotional 🫶🏾
We had a smaller one that I think I spotted in A New Hope.
Sweet iced tea in grandma’s
Anyone have the pitcher that was the Koolade man?

Gotta remember to mix that kool-aid with a wooden spoon.
My grandma's was just full of change lol
Chrystal light all day
My exact pitcher today, is filled up with pure cold water, my Kool aid days are so far behind me.
Oh no, that’s wrong. That’s the one the tube of frozen orange juice goes in. The kool-aid is in the round one with that plunger button on top that seals the lid in place.
My dad had this container! I didn't know it came with a handle though, his doesn't have one
Wow. This takes me back
We didn't have koolaid in our house ever, we used that one for lemonade!
Man, Kool aid just had a different taste from this thing! (it was probably phthalates, but still...)
When you can taste the picture. No matter what liquid was within, it was tempered with that 70s plastic taste we all know and loved.
Too funny. Bought some juice concentrate and my new container has a crack in it cuz the hard plastic
Kool aid, lemonade, or iced tea.
Lemonade for us! We still have ours, but don't use it as much!
Ours was used solely for sweet tea. Also, these things stained really easily.
Remember the pitcher with the smile on it?
Purple stuff FTW!!!
Had this exact model. The handle partially melted in the dishwasher.
Orange juice.
Why did our parents let us drink this all the time?
it was far less expensive and much healthier than sodas.
25^ a pack. ... ^^^ ¢ darn kids and them not needing that symbol...
Well yeah, I was just thinking about how it was loaded with sugar but I guess it could have been worse.
No, these were for pasta salad.
Did you drink your pasta salads growing up?! 🤪
Nah, they’re easy to store in a fridge and in a cooler. Easier than a bowl or Tupperware container.
Ah the vertical storage, I see! Thats funny to me i guess but is practical enough that hey, maybe im the funny one here haha
It’s also easy to serve, just pour it out 🤙🏻
Permanently stained from the kool aid too.
