I was working in the lab and was bitten by a naked mole rat. Woke the day allergic to clothes. That's the day I knew I had to put my naked powers to save the world. I became Super Naked!!!

One of the lost comic book characters lmao

I grew up in a house where my parents allowed us to be naked if we wanted. We weren’t pressured into it. They always taught us to not be ashamed of our bodies. That we all have flaws but that’s what makes us unique and beautiful.

Soggy-Bus5141

You grew up in a very unique household my friend🤔 but I can only imagine how that start helped influence your perspective on life

Almost my story: I went to live with my grandparents the summer I turned six. They lived on the farm outside of town that my grandmother had been born on. It was about 25 miles away from where I had been living with my mom. To a six year old it may as well been half way around the world. When we got out of the car my granddad pointed to a house about half a mile away, if you cut through the pasture. He said the family that lived there had a son about my age.. He knew I was coming to live here and I would meet him the next day. The next morning there was a knock at the door and grandmother called for me. When I walked into the living room there was a naked kid standing there. My grandmother introduced me to M and told me that it was up to me if I wanted to wear clothes or not. From that day forward I only got dressed for school, town on Saturday, Church on Sunday, cold weather and special occasions. The entire community was pretty much the same way. At some point many of the kids got shy and wore something for a little while but generally got over it. When I hit puberty and started getting erections when the wind blew I put on a pair of shorts. M just ran around with it like it was no big deal. I asked him about it and he told me: “You don't see any of the animals worried about it when it happens to them do you?” Seeing his point I shed my shorts and quit worrying about it also. My Grandmother did have me start wearing them in the house like my granddad did. I would leave them on the back porch railing when I headed out then put them back on before I came back in the house. She also had a pair for M to wear when he came over. His parents did not care one way or the other about us being naked or who was there when we were. In the eight years I lived there we probably roamed a five square mile area; either on foot, bicycle or horseback along with swimming and fishing in an untold number of ponds. Being nude was just part of growing up and I never thought much about it. Once we went somewhere after school and his mom came to pick us up when she got off work. On the way home she was laughing as said she almost did not recognize us wearing clothes. Another time my grandmother found me and told me to get in the car she had to go somewhere. We were a couple of miles down the road before she realized I wasn't wearing anything. We had to turn around so I could get dressed. But as they say all good things must come to an end and mine did I when my grandmother started having health issues. When she went into the hospital I had to go live with my mother.

What a beautiful story, it made me envious to know what your childhood and adolescence was like, living naked in the countryside.

Soggy-Bus5141

Such a unique background, I never even knew that was a thing until a few years ago

We all seem to live in our own individual realities growing up😅

I (26) discovered it fairly late with my ex girlfriend at age 22. We were on vacation in Prague and went to a lake for swimming. At some point we saw a sign that there was a nude beach nearby. We started joking that we could go there (none of us really seeing it as an actual opportunity in the beginning). Long story short: We talked ourselves into actually going. It was our first nude experience so at first when it came to us undressing we were both hesitant. But then we just did it. We had the best beach day of out lives. Not only did it feel very liberating to be naked together while swimming. Also there were no annoyingly loud children. Also it helped us overcome insecurities. My ex has very prominent labia which hangs out and which she felt insecure about. Seeing that other women have the same helped her. I myself also overcame insecurities by seeing other men naked. This was when we both discovered that nudity is the best!

In college I dated a woman who was raised nudist from childhood and her ways rubbed off of me always hanging out with her and her friends and family all the time, going to Haulover, etc. Out of habit I just started going nude in my apartment there, as well as hers, and almost 10 years later even though that relationship ended a long time ago and Ive moved back home, I still live full time as a nudist and now I share the lifestyle with the others in my home as well as my current girlfriend and some relatives. It's great! I will never go back to textile life.

Ashamed-Tea6888

Raised a nudist!

Benegger85

By my late teens I had seen some movies and documentaries that showed nudists, just people doing ordinary stuff while naked, and I thought it would be quite nice to not have to wear clothes sometimes. At my gym at university there was a sauna where being naked was required, and I went there to sweat after every gym session after getting iver a very brief moment of embarrassment. Then with my girlfriend, now wife, we went to a nude camping beach in France and it was great! I told my parents where we went, and it turns out they were going to nudist beaches and campings before my siblings and I were born, and started to again once they were able to go on holiday without us. Apparently nudism is genetic.

When I was around 12/13 I used to stay over at my grandparents' house on a Saturday night sometimes, mostly because they had Sky TV, and they'd go out for a few hours, so I could watch films. I'd have a shower, and then sit naked on a towel to watch tv. I just found that I felt comfortable being naked. I started to sleep naked around this point too, and spend time naked in my room at home. It was a couple more years before we got a computer at home and I was able to get online, and I discovered that other people enjoyed being naked too, and that it was called nudism/naturism. But I still had no opportunity to go anywhere or do anything beyond be naked when I was alone at home, or a few rare instances in our secluded garden. Into my 20's I started to talk to friends about it, and venture to naturist places, like beaches and clubs/campsites. Some friends joined me, others were happy at clothing optional places, and I made friends through naturist sites too. I moved into my own place, and was then able to be naked at home all the time (well, when it was warm enough!) and when I learned to drive, I was able to get to naturist places more often. As I now approach 40, naturism has become a big part of my life and who I am - it isn't just a hobby for me. I try to find ways to do the things that I enjoy in life, but naked. I love hiking, so I sometimes choose remote locations and try to time it right so that I can hike naked. I love to have friends over and cook for us, and some of them are comfortable with me being naked even if they aren't. I'm very fortunate to have such good friends, and have had so many great naturist experiences.

BeardedMexican47

I wish I could find some friends to hang out with… I haven’t figured out a way to go about it though! Hahahahba

DasBatt

My parents couldn't hardly keep clothes on me as a child. They were happy to get me clothed if I left the house. Tween that and sky clad pagan events and I just kept up with it every chance I get. Unfortunately living with inlaws has mostly put a damper on that

Soggy-Bus5141

Your poor parents😂 but that’s interesting when it comes to the non traditional events you went to🤔 I can see that having an effect

MyerLansky22

I have a spinal cord injury and nudism has increased my self esteem and acceptance of my new body, my skinny legs and soft tiny dick don’t bother me, it is what it is :)

BeardedMexican47

Dang- sorry to hear that! I am quite self conscious!

Swim class, aged 14. Me and one other boy, every Friday after school. The first week we were a little awkward about changing and showering infront of each other. Then, one time after Swim class, I got out the pool before he did and was naked in the showers when we walked in. From that moment t on we decided not to bother hiding and would just be nude in front of each other and change. We played games in the showers, daring each other to stand under the cold shower for one whole minute, just talked about how our day went, ate snacks. All while nude. From that moment on I was able to find the difference between nudity and being naked, from anything sexual. And nudity became very normal for us both.

TopPhotograph8637

First got interested when I saw the movie ‘Summer Lovers’ when I was a teenager. First actually experienced public nudity in a locker room when I was 29

suemcgregor27

Years ago when I saw my ancestors nude by the poo..l. I first enjoyed it by then. I had my first nude swim and naked shower in the garden. It felt like I was liberated...

Kitchen_Yak_676

Mine was kinda straight forward, I dated a nudist in college and then married her. She grew up in a nudist home about ten miles from where I did. Her family was a typical family except they were always full nude at home. Her Mom was raised nudist as well. They also spent their summers at a nudist club not far from where I lived. Her parents and all her siblings are all still nudist to this day. We have three kids now, who are all nude at the moment. Her siblings have carried on the tradition with their families.

ChrisHumboldt

I always enjoyed being naked, even as a young kid I used to hang with my friends naked

I 39[M] was living down in Austin 3 years ago. Met some lovely weirdos and they liked nudity (and sex). They suggested the local nude beach as a stop to add on my local bucket list. Background: I’ve been chubby since 5th grade. Terrible body image as you’d imagine. Being naked alone had always been a hang up. Being nude around others was unthinkable. However, I longed to be free of those shackles. So to the beach I went! It became a regular thing for me to do. I’d go down, hang out walk around, meet people and just exist. I was blown away by the different types of people there. Seemingly all walks of life. Various levels of success (judging by the cars in the parking lot). Every kind of body you could imagine. Different ages (18+ only) backgrounds, skin tone, sexuality etc… The biggest thing was, accept for the nudity and the logistical differences it required, beach goers were doing very normal beach things; playing music, swimming, hanging out on boats, laying in hammocks, keeping to themselves, meeting everybody or throwing a rave (gotta love the gays boys down at the end 🫶🏻) Can’t say I like my body yet. But it feels amazing to be out in the sun, chillin with cool peeps, having a great time, all while nude! Advice (if you’d like it): Find a spot or spots where you can be naked. As you feel comfortable, make those spots around others. See how it feels, go from there. Beaches, campgrounds, clubs, resorts, certain AirBnBs, and there’s a TON of community support if you go lookin. Cheers to continuing your exploration 🥂 May it be ever fruitful

We were raised in a small one bathroom house with only a tub, no shower. It was me, boy, three sisters and both parents. Casual nudity was accepted. In the summer on Sunday mornings in our catholic town our dad took us skinny dipping at the granite quarries while everyone else was at church

27m here 👋😁 here’s what I texted my wife asking if she wanted to go to a nude event (cypress cove)! She ultimately said yes 🙌 but at first wanted to know “why”? So here’s what I sent 👇. (Note* we lived in Japan 🇯🇵 for a while and already had some experience with nude communal bathing). Text: “”Hey babe. So I know it does seem pretty intimidating 🙃 But that’s precisely why I wanna go 😂 but also here’s why: • i like growing as a person by getting out my comfort zone. • I enjoy the aspect that men and women enjoy the same level of respect at clothing optional places. It is very refreshing that one isn’t considered the “creepy” gender and the other is the one that’s always being objectified. Both genders are equal and equally respected for nudists which is awesome 👏. • I love studying human psychology and seeing how people react in different situations. Social nudity is like an ongoing social experiment for me since it’s somewhat mind boggling how everyone can just “switch” this social concept off in their brains and treat it normal, something I’ve questioned since childhood 🧐(“why do we have to even wear clothes any the first place”). • Compared to the mainstream media u could say that most bodies aren’t considered “attractive”, which is also part of my social experiment 🤔 WHY are nudists so comfortable in their skin? I think that’s actually SOOO awesome, wholesome, and what the world could use more of. • I love history and a lot of human history we didn’t wear clothes!! So it’s like going back in time 🕰️😱 • I like meeting new people with different mindsets, it’s fun for me all the socializing. • That feeling of going streaking? it’s exhilarating 😃 and that peaks my interest and since im still not quite used to the nakedness yet. • I always wanted to go to like Burning Man or something wild and fun, but then again, I don’t do drugs or have casual sex so I might get uncomfortable. This is just a similar feel but not a sexual venue, so I’d feel more at ease. (I 100% know it’s intimidating for u tho. 🙃 that’s why I’m giving u the choice for both of us to go or not.) • it does motivate me to stay in shape 💪🏽. I think all bodies are beautiful, but I am realizing that I only have one body and I want to take care of it. • From all my pre-medical courses, the human body alone just fascinates me. • I like the nudist mindset! We’re all human and not something to just objectify or be grossed out by if they don’t fit the “standard”. Seeing plus sized models, instead of thinking “ew gross why?”, nudists would think they are just human and deserve love and respect! • yes I know it’s different from being in Japan, since nude bathing is in their main culture and obviously not much here, but hey, isn’t it kind of Florida culture? 😉I’m just craving that Japan experience again and want to share it with you. • Overall, casual nudity is just a vibe, so freeing, and I like pushing social norms. “”

Just kind of happened

I didn't like the hustle and bustle of the city. So I researched different ways to live. That's when I decided I was going to live in the forest naked. Living how humans used to. And to this day, I still live off grid in the forest and never have to wear clothing. I either hunt for food or have a friend bring me some so I never have to be in public and I can forever live life how it's supposed to be, nude. And I believe all humans should abandon the cities and live nude in the wild. Like we were supposed to.
