Dolphins defense is not good and tua’s success depends on mcdaniel scheming huge windows for him to throw to. When they play a good defense that tightens those windows, tua folds and then they’re depending on their mediocre defense to win them the game. Not a true contender
I can’t believe how over the off-season, jets fans right here said the league figured Lamar Jackson out and they’d rather have Daniel Jones!
If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t!
Trust me- the exact line I am making fun of is exactly what others were saying when Lamar was available for trade and there was no clarity around the situation. It was not a cope. It was an argument happening on this website every day right up until Lamar finally said himself he was staying. There’s no need to speak for others here, the posts were plenty.
Saw a lot of concern for injury here which makes a lot of sense but anyone not foaming at the mouth at the thought of having Lamar are psychos. He’s so fucking good man. I would have done nasty things to have him on this team.
Obviously happier than ever with Rodgers despite him being hurt but fuck Lamar is an amazing QB
That's the funniest part because as Daniel Jones and Lamar Jackson were being pitted against each other, Daniel Jones missed a higher % of his potential starts than Lamar Jackson! You literally could not make up how insane the discourse was at the time.
You remember all the folks pleading for getting Carr? And all them pissed off when Carr got signed for the Saints and them shitting on the FO for “not having a backup plan?”
I’ll never EVER understand it bc that dialogue was going on for the entire off-season. People were getting wayyyy too excited for mediocre QBs
* Bills choke and lose to a bottom-three team
* Dolphins lose
* We're still the 1 in Philly's 6-1
* The AFCE is still somehow fairly open
Now that's what I call winning a bye week. Only way it could've been better is if said winning bottom-3 team wasn't the Pats.
They've probably clinched not picking first thanks to Carolina being winless and likely to win a hypothetical tiebreaker vs Pats due to strength of schedule. Pats are effectively three games out from top pick right now. Still would like them to get one or maybe two more to definitely freeze them out of top QB options :-)
It’s funny seeing dolphins fans complaining about those penalties, jets had just as many bad calls last week against them and the jets overcame it and won
the reffing wasn't even egregiously bad. there were no big calls that had an impact on the outcome. I would understand the complains a whole lot more if they didn't lose by 14 points
The one extremely egregious one is the facemask penalty, agreed rest genuinely seemed deserved penalties.
I don’t feel ANY sympathy for divisional rivals complaining about refs considering the ass fucking we’ve been getting by the refs for so long now…especially against said divisional rivals.
We had Craig James, Bryce Hall and Tae Hayes against their offense. We lost Tippman during the game. Eagles had a TD gifted. Still won baby
Meanwhile, we ride in 3-3 against the toughest first six weeks in NFL history. Arguably, 5-1 if we werent robbed in KC and if Zach just played at the level he has the last few weeks against the pats.
I'm not sure how I feel. It doesnt seem real.
The Tua to Tyreek connection is incredible but this Dolphins team is very flawed outside of it, below average offensive and defensive line is going to get them pushed around all year by more physical teams like this and against the Bills, gotta be tough and physical with them
maybe its because i've seen it used successfully against the dolphins twice now, but i'm 100% fine with the tush push.
don't like it defense? get some guys who can squat 600 lbs like my man Jalen Hurts to push back
edit: lol 3x time
I don’t mind the tush push one bit. Football is a hard fucking sport you will use an overwhelming advantage specific to your own team as much as you can.
Maybe play better defense and don’t let them get to 4th and 1 me thinks? Speaking of, I don’t think they tried the push once against the Jets. The TD given to them was 4th and 3, it was a designed Hurts run rather than the Tush Push. We didn’t even allow them to get into position for a Tush Push
Honestly - if our defense plays the way it's being playing and Wilson is efficient at moving the ball, we can be a menace to Miami at least in the home game, Tua has balked against all three of the better defenses in the league (Bills, Patriots and now Eagles)
I hope he does well man. I know at the least he’s loved there and will get playing time. Mecole was fucking class. As a fanbase that experience the Jamal Adams hissy fit as well as the Elijah Moore hissy fit, Mecole was professional and didn’t throw a hissy fit.
I wish the best for him. Genuinely a great dude.
Holy crap they just mentioned Parry Nickerson... He used to play for the Jets a while ago and he was ass. Completely forgot about him and now apparently he's on the Dolphins
Washington Commanders have to really be the most irrelevant and useless team in the league. Sometimes I forget they are even a team. Like at least people know teams like the Bears, Panthers, and Cardinals are ass and they make fun of it, and then they of course praise the elites like KC and Philly, but for Washington it seems like people forget they even exist LOL.
Team is the DEFINITION of average, and Ron Rivera has to be the most overrated coach ever. Cam’s MVP season and that super bowl experience bought him A LOT of time. Respect to all he’s been through in life, and I’m sure he’s a good guy, but for Washington’s sake I hope their new ownership group makes some tough decisions this offseason. As a Jets fan where I have constantly been wary of Woody and ownership, I saw how happy all the Washington fans were when Snyder sold the team, and hoping that they make some drastic changes because I know dark times as a Jets fan haha.
Happy bye week fellow Jets fans!
After seeing some of the games today - Colts game with that PI call against Indy for that clear uncatchable ball at the end, and the Rams game with that awful 4th down spot. Refs def fuck us hard but they’ve been fucking a lot of calls up across the league. Today they legitimately sealed the outcome of 2 games. It’s getting ridiculous and is affecting the integrity of these games. Not a fan of either the Colts or Rams but I did kinda feel for them after getting hosed on those calls.
97 on the Giants is a monster. He could have easily had 5-6 sacks today. Im not looking forward to watching him go vs the Jets interior linemen. On the other hand, the Giants OLine is ass. If this DLine is truly elite, they should feast
I think Zach Wilson can be Alex Smith. Mountain West QBs who weren't ready for the NFL coming out, struggled for years, and then finally figured out how to be a game manager... then actually managed to show flashes of the talent they had coming out.
Zach's gotta figure out how to walk before he can run, and it'll take time, and he might never be a "franchise" guy, but I have hope he can continue to improve.
The Chargers just piss me off. All that talent on the roster: a franchise QB, one of the best weapons groups in football, a young stud at LT, and a defense that should be top tier given who’s on it, being wasted. And for what? So Staley can continue proving why he should’ve been fired immediately after they blew the playoff game last year?
A team with Herbert, Ekeler, Slater, Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, Khalil Mack, Derwin James, etc. should be a perennial contender. But then they wouldn’t be the Chargers I guess. What a joke.
Brandon Staley has been absolute ass there is no reason they should have even kept him past last year. The fanbase really turned on Derwin James HARD (for good reason he’s been awful), and Joey Bosa to an extent as well. Some have been calling to clean house…yikes
Herbert is so over rated. Would I want him on my team? Of course. I think he leads the nfl since he’s been drafted in 4th quarter ints. Dude just can’t win in pressure moments. His coach stinks too but he gets zero criticism and is compared to guys like mahomes and allen
He also has the most 4th quarter comebacks in the league in the same timespan to be fair, he's generally fine in the 4th, Chargers are just *always* down late and he has to try and make things happen for them for better or worse so it inflates his 4th quarter numbers both ways
How any jets fan can sit there and criticize Herbert of all people is hilarious. if he was on the jets the past two years this team would be a 13+ win team easily
And sometimes punt returns are scheme and not always the returner's talent. Not saying it doesnt take talent, but good returners get stuffed up all the time, and bad returners can hit a long one once in a while. Let's see what he does rest of season.
They're like the anti-Jets in the sense that every little bullshit swing factor that could decide a game somehow consistently swings their way, week after week, year after year.
As a refs fan. I’m happy to see us 8-1 so far. After losing to the jets in week 1, beating the broncos and patriots in week 2, a win vs the ravens in week 3, we beat the jets in week 4, Vikings took the L week 5 vs us, we beat the niners and giants in week 6, now we have a win vs colts in week 7. Feel so happy the be the best team rn
Dolphins have some Jets legends in their depth! There was a Perry Nickerson sighting today! Also the obvious with Mike White and Berrios.
And let's not forget Chosen Robbie Anderson Chosen.
I forgot the most important one!
Dolphins defense is not good and tua’s success depends on mcdaniel scheming huge windows for him to throw to. When they play a good defense that tightens those windows, tua folds and then they’re depending on their mediocre defense to win them the game. Not a true contender
Sweeping the fish is possible this year. Bills too.
Folds like a cheap Tua piece suit! Can call Tua ***The Suit***
Not to mention that if we can hold Tyreek in check, that offense suddenly loses 50% of its production
The matchup very much favors the Jets defense too
Our defense will eat them alive
I can’t believe how over the off-season, jets fans right here said the league figured Lamar Jackson out and they’d rather have Daniel Jones! If I didn’t see it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t!
I think most fans had just accepted the Ravens were matching whatever contract Jackson got anyway so they were willing to come up with next level cope

People were getting wayyyy too excited for mediocre QBs
We’ve experienced like a decade of bottom 5 QB play it makes a lot of sense why mediocre QB play would be exciting
I can’t believe the Bills steal our taxpayer money just to put that shit product out on the field smh
Dolphins when they play a good team: 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
* Bills choke and lose to a bottom-three team * Dolphins lose * We're still the 1 in Philly's 6-1 * The AFCE is still somehow fairly open Now that's what I call winning a bye week. Only way it could've been better is if said winning bottom-3 team wasn't the Pats.
I’m happy the patriots won, so they get a worst first round pick, we can’t have them picking first
They've probably clinched not picking first thanks to Carolina being winless and likely to win a hypothetical tiebreaker vs Pats due to strength of schedule. Pats are effectively three games out from top pick right now. Still would like them to get one or maybe two more to definitely freeze them out of top QB options :-)
Fish lose
It looks like the playoffs are back on the menu boys!
Good day of football for us Also unrelated to football but I have to say fuck the Astros.
And fuck Chase Utley... just for good measure
When Jose Altuve loses, America wins
Heck of a bye-week
Great bye week for the Jets! When was the last time we could say that?
Best possible BYE week for us. Actually feels like a win. When was the last time that happened?
Dolphins loss, Bills loss, Pats aren't getting 1OA A pleasant bye week :)

Dolphins are a glass jaw team. They love beating up on shitty teams. Punch them in the mouth and they fold like cheap lawn chairs.
Dolphins are pretenders. There loses are against the only good teams they have played against and both teams we’ve beaten.
Meanwhile, we ride in 3-3 against the toughest first six weeks in NFL history. Arguably, 5-1 if we werent robbed in KC and if Zach just played at the level he has the last few weeks against the pats. I'm not sure how I feel. It doesnt seem real.
We held this eagles team to 14 points with our practice squad corners.
Jets won the bye week #anotherone
Imagine not beating the Eagles. Couldn’t be my favorite team.
Dolphins are frauds. Only wins against bad teams 😂
Prior to this week they had the 2nd easiest schedule played so far by opponent record. Their schedule moving forward will be the 6th hardest.
Imagine if they never beat any winning team 😂
i absolutely can't wait for this take.
AFC East is looking wide open👀
Huh, guess nobody else can beat this Eagles team.
Jets definitely did not lose to the bye what a great week
We’ll see after the giants game
I’ve been so happy being a Jets fan the past three weeks
The Tua to Tyreek connection is incredible but this Dolphins team is very flawed outside of it, below average offensive and defensive line is going to get them pushed around all year by more physical teams like this and against the Bills, gotta be tough and physical with them
We could honestly win the ACF east
AFC East too
Even with Rodgers, many expected 3-3 at this point in the season. The team needs to keep playing at that level, but everything is still on the table.
how tf se beat this Eagles team is a thing of wonder
football comedy at its greatest, such an embarrassment for the fins d
Sirianni is such a smug douche, so glad we beat them last week
maybe its because i've seen it used successfully against the dolphins twice now, but i'm 100% fine with the tush push. don't like it defense? get some guys who can squat 600 lbs like my man Jalen Hurts to push back edit: lol 3x time

The TD given to them was 4th and 3, it was a designed Hurts run rather than the Tush Push. We didn’t even allow them to get into position for a Tush Push
My problem with the tush push is that a player is allowed to lead with his head on a play that isn’t a sneak. It’s a power run play not an A-gap dive.
Honestly - if our defense plays the way it's being playing and Wilson is efficient at moving the ball, we can be a menace to Miami at least in the home game, Tua has balked against all three of the better defenses in the league (Bills, Patriots and now Eagles)
That ball was in the air for what felt like an eternity
First year Jets fan. Just judging by this season, ZW isn’t that bad. That pick was atrocious.
great play by Slay, finish that fish out
I come in Peace. Thank you for returning our Jet.
Genuinely a great dude.
lmao u can have him
Eagles are frauds
Well San Francisco is easily the best team in football
What losing to the Jets does to a motherfucker
Fucking eagles are selling HARD
Eagles are a 1st half team
I'm starting to think Jalen Hurts is overrated.
Fuck, well Karma.
Really have to wonder if there's actually an underground effort to make the Chiefs and Eagles win. I mean, how are you that blind.
These refs are garbage, what is going on today
oh my goodness what an egregious no call on the face mask
Ref must have Dolphins D in fantasy
Clear face mask. Sucks for them but I'm happy. 😁😁😁😁😁
Fun fact - Mostert was signed to the Jets practice squad for 6 days in 2016
He had no shot behind Forte and Bilal
dang, sure fins defense doesnt look great but ramsey changes everything
Ramsay is washed
mann punting to berrios hahaha
I swear when players leave the Jets they get better. When did Mann learn how to punt?
Mann always teetered between brilliant and fucking awful. He would boom punts and then shank three in a row
He spent most of his time punting in our own end zone too which didn't help lol
Just saying our defense matches up well against Miami’s offense
\-7 1st half rushing yards nice job Dolphins
How did the Bears get a SNF game next week? And how has it not been flexed out?
Yeah they should really consider moving the Bengals-Niners game to SNF
Afc east is ours
How does one cover Tyreek when he has an actual QB? 8 first half catches.
[удалено]
Didn't age well.
In what world are the Eagles mediocre?
They’re 5-1..if that’s what you consider mediocre what are the jets?
The greatest football team of all time
Man what the fuck the AFCE was our’s with Rodgers
We can win this fucking division.
Settle down. We still have to get out of 3rd place
I LOVE JALEN HURTS
Dude is such a baller lmao
All these elite QBs just shit their pants against the Jets I’m sure it’s a coincidence
We’re gonna go 2-0 against the Dolphins
Dolphins don’t look so good so far now that they have to play a real team.
We’re coming bby 😈
Holy crap they just mentioned Parry Nickerson... He used to play for the Jets a while ago and he was ass. Completely forgot about him and now apparently he's on the Dolphins
Parry Nickerson is still in the league?? Damn lol

For their own sake they need a Jets 2020 level tank next year. Like really bottom out and start from scratch.
Minus our Rams game LMAOOO
Happy bye week fellow Jets fans! After seeing some of the games today - Colts game with that PI call against Indy for that clear uncatchable ball at the end, and the Rams game with that awful 4th down spot. Isn't it every year though. Saints nfc championships game... Like this league chooses not to fix this stuff
Can’t wait to see our defense vs the dolphins offense
It's going to be a real interesting game and a true test to see if this team can actually go to the playoffs.
If dolphins lose we’ll be in good position with the bills losing today!!!!
I’m glad we didn’t face Carter last week and have him destroy someone on our OL.
Chargers too
Are Eagles trying to pull the Jets w/ their uniforms, or something?
97 on the Giants is a monster. He could have easily had 5-6 sacks today. Im not looking forward to watching him go vs the Jets interior linemen. On the other hand, the Giants OLine is ass. If this DLine is truly elite, they should feast

Let’s beat them straight up
Herbert is so over rated. Would I want him on my team? Of course. I think he leads the nfl since he’s been drafted in 4th quarter ints. Dude just can’t win in pressure moments. His coach stinks too but he gets zero criticism and is compared to guys like mahomes and allen

Huh that’s a good point
he also leads the league in 4th quarter comebacks, touchdowns, and game winning drives since he entered the league He is easily a top 5 QB
They fumbled the bag on Brian Daboll for fucking Brandon Staley
Plus a guy named Bosa
Shit I knew I was forgetting someone, even more wasted talent
Holy shit I just saw the replay of that Pickett sneak on the 4th down play. These fucking refs man..
Egregious! Unreal!
Pittsburgh is gonna be a problem for a playoff seed their schedule is not very difficult
Refs gifted wins to both Pittsburgh and Cleveland today
Jason Garett on Football Night needs to stop yelling. I cannot listen to his off camera commentary.
Packers fans talked all that shit in the off-season and we’re still better then them without Rodgers
They really needed to be humbled.
Their season is just clear evidence of how hard they were carried by Rodgers. Really really hope he comes back next year.
God I remember when both their sub and ours was full of leverage posts.
How much more time does Staley get?
If the Chargers don't fix shit and fast he's going to join McDaniels, Rivera, and Bowles on the unemployment list
Eberflus too. If he’s employed next year I’m convinced Bears ownership is smoking some grade A crack
He's gone this year if no playoffs
Chargers are mid. Next 3 opponents are 7-13. Such a winnable portion of the schedule.
Why do I have the feeling that if we meet the Chiefs in the playoffs, hardman is going to kill us?
Golden Joe has earned the benefit of the doubt but...I don't get trading Hardman. I would've liked to have kept him around for depth if nothing else.
Because you’re a pessimistic Jets fan. And you guys give Hardman way more credit than he deserves.
This, Hardman wouldn’t even be in the league if he ran a 4.4
k
Steelers winning sucks, but chargers, bills, and raiders losing helps us. Not a bad bye week so far. Now let’s hope for a dolphins loss.
The Steelers deserve the win for holding Kupp to 2 receptions
Why did we do nothing with Mecole Hardman? He’s looking solid in KC. Definitely better than Randall Cobb lol
He had 1 catch for 6 yards. He looked good on the one punt return, but we have a stud at that position already.
And sometimes punt returns are scheme and not always the returner's talent. Not saying it doesnt take talent, but good returners get stuffed up all the time, and bad returners can hit a long one once in a while. Let's see what he does rest of season.
1 catch relax
I find it insane that we couldn’t use Hardman over Cobb
Man, why can't we get a WR like Hardman
For real. 1 catch for 6 yards. Why can’t the Jets get production like that?
Hardman having a solid 2nd half
Yep doubled his season yard total on 1 catch
Steelers are 4-2 with an easy schedule. Don’t like that
Christ the Steelers are the luckiest team this year.
Wondering if the Chargers are going to get the same magic camera angle that only the NFL has that the eagles got
You already know the Steelers are gonna be mad annoying at the end of the year during the playoff race
They're like the anti-Jets in the sense that every little bullshit swing factor that could decide a game somehow consistently swings their way, week after week, year after year.
That was a total bullshit call
Hardman almost got a kickoff TD
This Steelers team is an insufferable watch I would rather watch any other team in the playoffs.
Bills choke. Now if the eagles can squish da fish we had a productive weekend
Refs screwed yet another team out of a victory today. Business as usual.
This is really rough for me as a Niners/Jets fan. I both win and lose either way.
Gotta love the commercial break with 16 seconds left in the quarter
Did Ulbrich teach the Chargers 3rd and long defense on Mahomes?
Every team decided to imitate our red zone ineptitude today
The giants can definitely best us
Their 14 points today scared ya?
Leonard Williams revenge game
I mean any team can beat any other team
Bro is mahomes hitting 500 yards?
if the Chargers keep it close he will for sure
Buffalo being on the losing ends of two of the biggest upsets this season. Now THAT is very cash money.
Mahomes 1st half. 20 completions, 0 to Hardman 3 incompletions, 2 targeting Hardman
And the interception was off Hardman.
That's says a lot about Hardman.
Kelce has 9 catches 143 yards in the 1st half. Will he break 300?
The way the announcers deep throat mahomes and Kelce
It’s like they’re trying to get their stomachs pregnant
Can't help themselves showing Swift every two minutes..
Can they freaking break up already? Football is better when she's not around it.
I know right
