No I am saying they don't fill with water if there are no chew holes. Mine didn't and we had cyclone rain not long ago. There must be a hole for the water to get in. And the stalk isn't a hole.

Definitely was a surprise when I split the capsicum and a cup of water fell out
Just experienced this. It grossed me out and I put in the compost. Some of the seeds were also black
