This isn't why microplastic being everywhere. The major source of microplastic is the car tires containing 10-20% plastic grinding on asphalt pavement which also contain like 10% plastic. Another major source is from your clothing with synthetic fibres that got damaged during each washing cycle.
Yes your single use plastic straw and utensils will eventually deteriorate into smaller pieces but they will not shatter into millions of fine particles and spread all over the world. The plastic CD will actually stay pretty inert being buried for next few centuries(which is a different problem)
Don’t forget polystyrene packing material! That was the number one type of microplastic found in erm … samples, taken from men, in a recent study. Followed closely by single use container plastic
No surprise really. Think about how many times a day we all use plastic. Or think about how many times a day we all choose to put plastic products into our own mouths. It gets pretty scary once you start actively thinking about it and noticing it 😅
Haha, damn autocorrect! It always gets you at the worst times. I wasn't home schooled, I just have a room temperature IQ and yesterday was a particularly cold day.
Why do you got to be such a Debbie Downer? A little dirt on a plastic disc gives us hope that the world will be fine eventually. Your attitude reminds us that we are SO wrong thinking that way. Plastic won’t ruin the Earth, WE will. Telling us the truth makes you look like a know it all. Let us ruin the Earth we love and stop making things so real. /s
"Humans will fade away as the earth enters a new paradigm! Earth plus plastic! Maybe thats the answer to the age old question.. Why are we here? Earth: Plastic!" ~George Carlin
Not that you asked, but if you like to read, that movie was actually based on a book trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer called the Southern Reach Trilogy, and they're fucking awesome and relatively short.
That's not "healing", that cd takes hundreds of years to dissolve while millions of cds are being produced each year. The earth is dying and its faster than ever.
It takes longer than that and instead of decaying it just breaks into very small pieces. It turns into microplastics which later circulate via air or water and end up gathering inside animal and human bodies.
Ask again what is the problem or Google to learn more if you dare.
This isn't oddly satisfying. Maybe more r/mildlyinteresting.
More like r/mildlyinfuriating. This is why we have microplastics everywhere
No, that’s because of disintegration, which this is not an example of

Either way, this piece of garbage buried in the dirt is *not* the planet healing
Correct. Its fossils forming for whatever intelligent life lives on earth millions of years from now, digging us up!
Don’t forget polystyrene packing material! That was the number one type of microplastic found in erm … samples, taken from men, in a recent study. Followed closely by single use container plastic
You are allowed to say sperm... it made us all, and absolutely not offensive.
Another reason why remote work should be more acceptable.

On??
Mildly infuriating because you shouldn't throw such a gem of a game away
It's not. The entirety of that cd is still present underneath the dirt
And apparently, in every human males testicles
TIL I have an entire Wii Resort CD in my junk. What utter convenience.
See! I knew I wasn't wrong when I shoved my junk in the Wii's disc bay.
In this house we don't put our wee-wee in the Wii
Lasers fix eyes. Therefore lasers fix balls. It’s basic math.

I can feel the plastic in my balls
Are you sure they're not neuticles?
Not in mines, I know the taste of plastic
We're you home schooled, at least for biology class?
I didn't write the article, and as far as posting the "male" part. Some ppl need the clarification.
Oh, I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you were saying that there is a Nintendo Wii disc in testicles 🤣
OMG, LOL. Although with how some gamers get......
😂
For one brief moment, I thought I was not alone...
Oh, you to the Nintendo Wii disc balls syndrome?
Were* Were you home schooled, at least for English?
Come on you can do better. That was an obvious typo, not intentional
Haha, damn autocorrect! It always gets you at the worst times. I wasn't home schooled, I just have a room temperature IQ and yesterday was a particularly cold day.

That's disrespectful. I can understand Wii Play, but not Resort.
Not really satisfying. Someone was littering. Maybe r/mildly interesting
Cool! That reminds me of a movie called Annihilation.
Not that you asked, but if you like to read, that movie was actually based on a book trilogy by Jeff Vandermeer called the Southern Reach Trilogy, and they're fucking awesome and relatively short.
Thanks. I didn't know that. I love to read.
RIP copy of Wii Sports :(
If you look closely, you can see that this game is infact Wii sports resorts, not Wii Sports
Making the whole affair much more tragic
r/goblincore would love this
It's not, it's just growing over trash that will still be there a loooong time.
It's not. Its dying. Quicker than previously thought. Always quicker than previously thought.
If it were any other game other than wii sports resort or wii sports... truly sad...
If that was a Windows ME CD it would be fully in tacked because no one wants it.
This picture is like 5 years old
I wonder if it's already taken over the E, or if it's still struggling to get over the Sports section

Wall-e vibe ♥
It would take a white, but nature would eventually erase us, and start new.
Unlike my cds
So, like, should we be afraid that our plasic gets eaten by some fungus from the air?
But I wouldn't recommend using it
Looks beautiful!
I know this isn’t the point but that game being back so many childhood memories!
r/lostredditor
Resort was one of the best sequels of all time cant change my mind
So i’ve been thinking about it: so it decays for like decades or centuries. What’s the problem?
It takes longer than that and instead of decaying it just breaks into very small pieces. It turns into microplastics which later circulate via air or water and end up gathering inside animal and human bodies. Ask again what is the problem or Google to learn more if you dare.
So the problem is not in its decay time. Then why emphisize on it?
Nice nice.
