It's the Jaguar that Brian Jones gave to him at the Monterey festival, that's why it's right handed still. Photoshoot or something? After his roadie fixed it left handed he used it to record a couple of tracks then left it with his roadie as a backstage guitar for people to jam on. It was also the inspiration or the Super-sonic
It wasn’t unusual for jimi to play an upside down guitar, but I’m fairly certain he never went on stage with the strings strung upside down as well. I’ve also never seen him play a Jaguar. This whole thing seems fake
This photo is from a [studio thing he did](https://www.groundguitar.com/jimi-hendrix-gear/jimi-hendrixs-1960s-fender-jaguar-blue/). Supposedly, the Jaguar was one that somebody had handy for him to hold. There's a few more [here](https://www.offsetguitars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=92817), too.
OK there’s a few things wrong with this picture did somebody Photoshop? I don’t know the strings look upside down Jimmy doesn’t have arms, I don’t know if I like the way the strap looks, seems like a little halo around the guitar, neck and body but the mic stand is all fuzz out at edges. I don’t know I’ll stop now.
its just the angle, his arms are kind of behind him, the jaguar is just upside down, idk what halo youre talking about and the mic stand is just unfocused from the camera.
Bro got that raugaj
Its not well documented, but known in some circled jimi liked his jags/jazzmasters. He hated teles though
I think the Purple Haze guitar solo was played on a Tele in studio.
Could have. I think the quote was something along the lines of "they only have three sounds and two of them are bad"
Color photos show it was Lake Placid Blue 🤤 https://64.media.tumblr.com/b25f241507528855ea87354ac9c8c5af/tumblr\_ng10t1hQL41rqn0oeo1\_1280.jpg

Got some well meaning dummies here. Haha - that’s entertainment!

Excuse me don't swear. No need for that foul language.
Supersonic
Where's the humbuckers?
Pre-production model lol
Charcoal frost metallic?
Notice it is not plugged in and he looks faded
He’s the man and you’re the man looking at the man.
He is the man, and i am looking at the man. I am also looking at an unplugged guitar and is faded guitarist. It’s an interesting photo…
And has no strap attached to the body (right).
AI boo
You think this is AI? It's not.
I wonder how many of us had that thought though. Scary world we're entering where you don't know what you can trust any more.
Yeah I see other images from that same gig. There are some things with the arms that made this one look a little uncanny.
