The state uses bureaucratic powerhouses, a strongman leader (that might not be real), and a forever war (that *also* might not even be real) as tools to implement those three aims. (Also probably some influence from *Animal Farm* as well)
* Huxleyan (based off of *Brave New World*): idk how the fuck the description on that term relates to *BNW* so I'll just run with this. ~~Hope I don't look like a dumbass,~~ Wait, I'm already posting on this sub (lol...). *Brave New World* describes a world government where people are segregated by birth based on intelligence, like a eugenicist's dream. Using reproductive control technologies, and hot topic 20th century psychology techniques like sleep learning and classical conditioning, a class hell is constructed between smarts and stupids. Like Orwell, sexual control is a big part of controlling society (though to prevent unconditioned children versus reducing freedom). (The book itself is around half setting up this nightmare world and half going off the rails into a nightmare scenario. I recommend giving it a read if you haven't already.)
* Kafkaesque (based off of multiple works by Kafka, chiefly *The Trial*): A bureaucratic nightmare creates a dystopia by being so obtuse and muddy that it's impossible to understand why things are happening, leading to people being charged for crimes for reasons no one knows why. The agents don't know the crime, the accused doesn't know the crime, and it gets so confusing that crying in the fetal position from the absurd horror is all that's left to do. (One of my best friends is a huge Kafka fan. Worth a read, unless you want to avoid an existential crisis or mental damage of the sort.)
* I don't know Phildickian, but I think it refers to the works of Philip K. Dick. That's the only hit I got when I searched his name. Wikipedia says that he was a science fiction writer, so it makes sense that the description mentioning holodecks belonged to him

The book is really good and everyone should read it. Between Nineteen-Eighty-Four and Brave New World, the latter is far better.

It's a bit more complicated, they do take a similar cut from superchats but compared to nijisanji, for example, they take much less from merch sales while also providing a base salary that helps talents that aren't able to stream a lot or have smaller audiences. I don't think the actual numbers have much importance compared to how well they use that money to invest in and help talent, which they've obviously proven to be great at.
It's never been confirmed, but their cut of superchat money is at most slightly off from niji's (YouTube takes 30%, company takes half of remainder so 35%, talent keeps 50%), but kson implied that merch cut is 50% in hololive (vs. 2% in nijisanji), and they get paid a livable wage as a base salary regardless of how much they stream.

You have to remember that the brand recognition alone makes Holo the best deal on the industry. They could be taking 90% of super chat revenue and it would still be an improvement for an indie because of the sheer volume of supahs they’ll get for being in hololive.

Not livable, minimum. Both Suisei and Kanata have talked about Holo giving them minimum wage on top of superchat earnings, minimum and livable are not quite the same thing.
The merch percentage is not fixed, it depends on what the merch item is. Hololive tends to keep most of them split 50/50, idol usually goes for 60/40, niji has comically low split for general merch items, but keep digital goods like voice packs at 50/50. I don't know anything about the others tho.
About that minimum wage, do you happen to have source for that (I just wanna check for myself)? Be it a clip (translated or not) or even better, the YouTube stream or Twitter space where they mentioned such topic.

Hololive tends to keep most of them split 50/50, idol usually goes for 60/40, niji has comically low split for general merch items, but keep digital goods like voice packs at 50/50. I don't know anything about the others tho.
