I take a kids pizza, and stretch it out thinner, then do Alfredo, spinach, bacon, and cheese with chicken Parm diced up.
Or deep fry the bread for spinach dip into a taco, then add lettuce, spicy ranch, bacon, chicken, and cheese.
im a line cook, so i have a lot of free range of what i wanna make. ill do stir fry with mixing pepper mash, pineapple juice, and scampi, kinda makes a sweet and sour sauce. then bbq sauce with dr pepper, certain spices, ketchup, and a1. buffalo sauce with butter, ranch, and hot sauce. a lot of this can be mixed with chicken or shrimp (i dont eat beef). make quesadillas and gyros with the uncut full pia crisps. even made ratatouille one time. there’s so much you can make with the ingredients around. if you have a genuine culinary inclined line cook, ask them to make something different.
the most experimental thing i did for a customer was make them octo dogs. their kid was sausage and i decided to cut them into lil octopi and the kid loves it
It’s been a long while but I’d take the flat bread, garlic aioli, grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese with diced bruschetta tomatoes and bake until crispy golden brown etc. then when it came out of the pizza oven I’d top it with small fresh mozzarella balls and fresh basil then drizzle it with balsamic glaze. Cut and serve. Yum!
I used to make chicken bruschetta flatbreads when those were around and they were stupidly popular among employees. Sometimes I’ll talk someone into a steak Marsala with mushrooms.
literally just tomato sauce, with this stuff called mari batutto, and some salt, pepper, rosemary, and it’s a bottle of scampi seasoning. we use badia seasoning brand. i haven’t worked in sauce/prep in a while so im foggy on it
Bring in some capers and butter up the good line cook and have them heat up scampi sauce with the capers and pour it onto a salmon for a salmon picatta. Chicken works too.
We have a line cook that makes us OG disco fries. (Bacon, alfredo, and a melty 5 cheese blend) and uses the kids pizza dough and makes all sorts of piadinas. I like the spinach, chopped tomato, grilled chicken, and a lil bit of alfredo one. We love Juan!!!
Howdy, I’m a server at Olive Garden. I’m going to be honest the only time I’ve ever had salad or the soup there was when I was training. I usually go for the chicken Parmesan or the ravioli. Those are my favorites, but I have had a few people that wanted chicken or shrimp on their salad, as long as they were willing to pay for it and they were OK with waiting. I never saw a problem.
Another thing I really like but everyone gives me funny looks when they see it is when I mix some of the pasta fagioli with some of the chicken gnocchi to have kind of like a creamy tomato soup
Okay but next level is doing a salad onions and croutons mixed with ranch and then doing a scoop of strained pasta fagoli to make an Olive garden taco salad. I KNOW it sounds crazy, but it's so fire!! Never had someone try it and not like it 🤣
Actually a secret menu item is 4 oz of spicy peppermash/4 oz of Alfredo/ i would say an oz of pesto/ butter/ fry the chx scampi instead of tenders and mix. You got the old but gold spicy calabrian chx
Take some meatballs and cut them up into bite-sized pieces, take a breadstick and and slice it open like a sub bun and add the bite-sized meatballs. Gets yeah every time
Side of Chicken Fingers, cut one up in the salad. Use Oil and Vinegar for dressing. Mix beef seasoning from backline with ketchup and steak sauce to make BBQ sauce to dip the rest of the chicken fingers. You can also just do the kids meal and get fries too. If so, cover them in the beef seasoning too. That shit is good. This is my go to meal.
i use my free CYO on ziti with 5 cheese mari. there’s almost always a cook on the line that will throw some of the ziti topping on there for me so i don’t have to pay🤷🏻♀️
My go to lately has been
-ziti pasta, Alfredo, scampi chicken and spin dip with diced tomatoes all mixed in
My Pregnancy favorites were:
-fries topped with meat sauce and mozz with meatballs on top (like a "chili" fry)
OR
-id take just the potatoes out of the Zuppa then take just the creamy part of the gnocchi and put some of that on top of the potatoes...then a shit ton of cheese from the grater mixed in, topped with crushed croutons 😅 it was like a cheesy scalloped potato and it was a must have pregnancy dish for me 🤤
I have a coworker that is typically on the line or backup and he cuts up bread sticks and coats the pieces in the butter and then deep fries it and dips them in ranch it’s literally just his own special croutons
Blackened steak/salmon
Cajun hand cut cheese fries
Sweet red pepper glazed chicken
Cinnamon sugar donuts/ honey butter scones
Or a local favorite, chicken and sausage jambalaya.
adderall
God damn I miss that server life
I take a kids pizza, and stretch it out thinner, then do Alfredo, spinach, bacon, and cheese with chicken Parm diced up. Or deep fry the bread for spinach dip into a taco, then add lettuce, spicy ranch, bacon, chicken, and cheese.
That sounds next level.
I’ll order a side of shrimp or crispy chicken and add it to my salad *chef’s kiss*

How do you make the marinara sauce? pllzzzzzz
literally just tomato sauce, with this stuff called mari batutto, and some salt, pepper, rosemary, and it’s a bottle of scampi seasoning. we use badia seasoning brand. i haven’t worked in sauce/prep in a while so im foggy on it
Lately I’ve been ordering a side of salmon and throwing it on a salad, I loveeee it
Bring in some capers and butter up the good line cook and have them heat up scampi sauce with the capers and pour it onto a salmon for a salmon picatta. Chicken works too.
I do a chicken fritta Alfredo w a med well steak cut up in it

I haven’t heard about disco fries in a long time.
A local diner makes them. With a side of gravy. So good but so bad...
Souper Salad where I put croutons on Zuppa. Fantastic.
Put some gnocchi in the zuppa.
First scoop Pasta Fagioli, second scoop chicken gnocchi chunks. Perfection.
That's my second favourite. I add cheese.
If you can a touch of pepper mash in some gnocci for a spicy chicken gnocci.
That pepper mash is so heckin good on almost everything. My two favorites were adding some to the artichoke dip or a veggie scampi.
Friend. You have some excellent taste.
omggg is that the fries with the steak seasoning on it? i love doing that!
Yep. Beef seasoning and Italian cheese blend. Former coworker did I’d and now it’s my favorite.

I like to get chicken fritta w broccoli and put some red pepper and a bit of Alfredo on it
Kids pizza- spin dip instead of tomato sauce then cheese, bacon, and seasoned tomato’s or salmon margarita. Definitely my go to’s recently
Worked at OG 3 years in college, still love the gnocchi lol about 80% of my days I was doing a salad soup and breadsticks going home
My snack on the go, while doing takeout was croutons with olive oil and ranch lol
Kids pepperoni pizza and put the French fry’s on top
Another thing I really like but everyone gives me funny looks when they see it is when I mix some of the pasta fagioli with some of the chicken gnocchi to have kind of like a creamy tomato soup
Some of the bussers mix all of the soups together. I occasionally do zuppa and fagoli.
Okay but next level is doing a salad onions and croutons mixed with ranch and then doing a scoop of strained pasta fagoli to make an Olive garden taco salad. I KNOW it sounds crazy, but it's so fire!! Never had someone try it and not like it 🤣
Fried pita chip dipped in zeppoli sugar

Wait, is soup and salad the only thing you get for free?
CYO pasta without toppings is free. Meatballs and sausage is like $1 I think.
Chicken and shrimp carbonara sub tortellini no red peppers sub Spinach Add mush Make spicy 🧑🍳
Yum!
Not gonna lie anything but Olive Garden food, I have to be in a mood to eat at work cause I feel horrible if I eat during my shift.
I usually do the salad and fries combo to keep it light. I can’t eat heavy and expect to keep working.
Steak fries 🍟
Take some meatballs and cut them up into bite-sized pieces, take a breadstick and and slice it open like a sub bun and add the bite-sized meatballs. Gets yeah every time

I’ll have to try that.
A lot of people at our store eat the eggplant parm and salmon margarita style
I'm not a server but eat at OG twice a month.; came to say the salad is great and entree is always VG ! Ohio.
i use my free CYO on ziti with 5 cheese mari. there’s almost always a cook on the line that will throw some of the ziti topping on there for me so i don’t have to pay🤷🏻♀️
CYO free employee meal is all I get 😭

Is that chicken nugget salad?
Used to order a side of fettuccini Alfredo with loads of extra sauce.... I added the minestrone soup to it and ate that with wasaaaay too much cheese.
I pay the $2.11 to get a chicken parm patty. I add it to my free pasta.
I’m sorry but that shrimp fritto misto is amazing. If you put it in with the salad too 😚🤌🏽
I did that once and wasn’t crazy about it. I’d rather make it into a po boy with the spicy ranch.
I hadn’t thought about this. I will be doing this today when I work. Thank you!!!
Nothing—gotta get that food waste down 😉
i get the steak and fettuccine alfredo and add broccoli
I have a coworker that is typically on the line or backup and he cuts up bread sticks and coats the pieces in the butter and then deep fries it and dips them in ranch it’s literally just his own special croutons
Tour Of Italy Is My Go To Favorite Meal I Luv Eating AT Olive Garden ❤️🔥🥰❤️💙🖤
Blackened steak/salmon Cajun hand cut cheese fries Sweet red pepper glazed chicken Cinnamon sugar donuts/ honey butter scones Or a local favorite, chicken and sausage jambalaya.
So many servers and guests wanted blackened seasoning I had to buy a big container just to keep up with it. Cajun fries sound amazing.
