I do have a question about the plateware if you are able to help with that department [ unsure if they have depts or something similar to it ] but can you buy the bowls and what not for like a souvenir?
So my family LOVES it and always have a lot of fun. It’s way better than the pirate one next door. They have military discounts and email discounts. I just looked at the email and it’s 20% off with code 20MT
Do you like horses and pageantry? Totally worth it. Amused by big, super-staged goofy theatrical swordplay? Absolutely your ham, er, jam. Do you like game hens? Golden.
Tip your waitresses! Remember that you're going for the spectacle, not the meal.
I'm the type of person who would think Medieval Times is lame, but I absolutely had a great time, the venue is really well done, the entertainment is very polished and the food was surprisingly good.
All in all would recommend going once.
It’s worth the price if there are kids going. A lot of hooting and hollering and banging on tables. Fun if you allow yourself to suspend adulthood for a few hours.
I had a blast but I went with my girlfriend for my birthday and we snuck in some alcohol and got a little hammed haha.
Honest opinion: food is really bad, it’s awfully cheesy (but that’s why it’s fun / funny), the actors definitely have some skill, but overall you aren’t going to leave blown away by any means. If your family is down to buy into it and have some fun at the goofy spectacle, you could definitely spend your money in worse ways.
Foam parties are fun for about two seconds. Until you start thinking about all the nasty stuff possibly lurking in the foam, you could be walking through.
I’ve probably been here a dozen or more times and it’s also enjoyable for the experience. My family really loves going which is why I’ve been so many times, but I have also gone with friends which has been fun.
Here is a great Medieval Times promo reel that tells you everything you need to know and what you can expect on your first visit: https://youtu.be/rguM1oURD0Y
Medieval times is worth it but I would never pay full price for a ticket there's always a promo going on I remember they used to do mini shows for my elementary school at the end of the year every couple of years I haven't done the dinner show but my parents have with one of my older cousins I have only done the pirates dinner show and I have to say that was not worth it I would have rather watched medieval show since they do a actual jousting torment with one on one sword duels and all the other semi historical accurate games
I am a full grown adult man and I go here frequently with my partner. This show gets infinitely more entertaining the more you drink, and it's really fun to get into the teamplay, and as staged as it is not every aspect goes according to plan. The small dynamics make it enjoyable.
I went there on a first date and we both loved it. This was late 2021. The food is mid. The show itself is great, although I wouldn't go a 2nd time. I also found a coupon and paid a little over $100 for 2 tickets.
Thank you all for the great suggestions and the 20% coupon. We went to the show and it was overall a very good experience. Even the food was much better than the low expectations I had for it.
Thanks all!
Nah, unless there are a lot of kids to entertain. I’d just go to the Anaheim Packing house for the evening instead. Tons of food, drinks, some shopping, and just a casual vibe for a couple hours.
NOOOO. unless you’re the type of person who would go to the renaissance fair. Pre game before. Sneak in your own booze. Bring hot sauce. And do the Groupon.
Do you have any suggestions for Ren Fairs? I remember looking one up a month or two ago and it legit ended the day before after it had been going on for like two months lol
If they're all adults, maybe something better to do is out there. If kids are part of the family that's visiting, especially 10 and under, I think it's worth a visit, especially if they're from a place no such thing exists.
Make sure you get there at least 15 minutes earlier, just so you can check out the place and take some pictures (or buy some fun souvenirs... for the kids).
After the promo code - comes to about $50ish, it’s worth it to go at least once! I am not too sure if you’re going with kids, but I went with my daughter (8) and she had so much fun! Definitely something I will always remember because my daughter was having a blast eating food with her hands and cheering for our team. The food is not good, but the show/performance was great. I can’t remember if it was included or an add-on, but they give you the opportunity to have a group photo taken. It’s a great memorabilia.
It’s worth going once with a good group. Maybe pregame a bit if that’s what you’re into. The drinks are decent but pricey, it’s kinda fun to be “rambunctious” and cheer for your knight while eating turkey without utensils.
I won’t go back anytime soon but I really enjoyed when I went.
The discount code is a must.
One thing I realized no one has mentioned is that If you’re bringing kids who are picky eaters they might not eat the food. When I used to go as a kid I used to HATE the food and just wouldn’t eat while I was there. As an adult I’ll eat it now but it’s definitely not the greatest.
Has anyone been recently? I’d actually consider coming here as a date but me and my partner are still fairly Covid conscience. Is seating just typical concert bleacher seating (basically packed in side by side and front to back)? And is food part of the experience or can I opt to not eat
There are coupons, last time I went, they had the coupons right on the counter as you walk up, for something like 39 a person. That was about 3 years ago though.
Tickets are $53 per person after using code: 20MT. At that price, I’d say it’s worth it if you haven’t been before.
The real mvp!
lol was gonna say, i think its worth it, at a discount, for that one time, but not at 80ish doll hairs
It's only $44 if you sign up for the emails to get the bday promotion. Try BDAY22.

Down down down! Red Knight’s goin’ down!
Are the horses treated well? I love to hear that? That is the only thing I was a little afraid of when we went there.
I do have a question about the plateware if you are able to help with that department [ unsure if they have depts or something similar to it ] but can you buy the bowls and what not for like a souvenir?
What do you do when they put you in the bootleg green or yellow knight section. They never win.
It's worth it once in your life. After that, the cost-benefit ratio drops significantly.
If you're really into eating KFC quality food while smelling horse farts though...
Well damn, sign me up!
You had me at horse farts

What's the pirate one called. I been to medieval times a lot, never heard of the pirate one.
[pirate dinner adventure](https://piratesdinneradventure.com/ca/special-offers?gad_source=1)
Just like the pirate show, it's cool to do once at least. Often times they have specials or third party discounts like groupons.
Sorry… pirate show?
[Pirates Dinner Adventure](https://piratesdinneradventureca.com/)
That looks wonderfully stupid!
The Pirate Show is for kids and pales in comparison to Medieval Times!
Cheaper and you can say you're in character when you drink too much
As one of the performers I think it’s great! Please do go at least once
Do you like horses and pageantry? Totally worth it. Amused by big, super-staged goofy theatrical swordplay? Absolutely your ham, er, jam. Do you like game hens? Golden. Tip your waitresses! Remember that you're going for the spectacle, not the meal.

Cynical European here, where there is real castles and real nights. This show is definitely worth it.
Pretty sure there are real nights everywhere.
I did it twice as a kid, have done it twice as an adult, it was fun every time.
It’s worth the price if there are kids going. A lot of hooting and hollering and banging on tables. Fun if you allow yourself to suspend adulthood for a few hours.
If you take an edible before, yes, absolutely
If you have kids or are an adult who plans on drinking, it’s worth it :)
I had a blast but I went with my girlfriend for my birthday and we snuck in some alcohol and got a little hammed haha. I did it a few years ago and it had a great time. Go for it, especially if you have people visiting.
I go with strictly adults and we have a blast. If there aren't kids in your party go to a late showing - and be sure to cheer loudly!
I put this place exactly where I put foam parties…it’s great exactly one time!
Foam parties are fun for about two seconds. Until you start thinking about all the nasty stuff possibly lurking in the foam, you could be walking through.
Funny since I bet those are the same people with multiple jabs lol

Went to the pirate show and was pleasantry surprised.
What about the pirates ones next door?
$86 per person! Definitely not worth it the food is ehhh at best.
NOOOO. unless you’re the type of person who would go to the renaissance fair. Pre game before. Sneak in your own booze. Bring hot sauce. And do the Groupon.
Do you have any suggestions for Ren Fairs? I remember looking one up a month or two ago and it legit ended the day before after it had been going on for like two months lol
Irwindale one is great, think it's worth the $40 or w/e it costs
I am NOT a ren fair person but my friend just went to the one in idyllwild and I think she liked it??? I didn’t ask bc I didn’t care.
Lol I respect that. Me neither it would be a first for me, I think it would be funny as hell to people watch.
Yes! Bring hot sauce and ketchup!
The pirates show down the road is way better!
Do the Groupon app.
PrrrrrrrRAH! PrrrrrrrrRah!
If we do not fight each other, they will kill us both…
Food was ass, show is pretty funny
Nope.
Just don’t ask if you can get a knife or fork…

It’s a good one time place. Use the coupon and go. I mean if it’s $53 with a coupon, it’s just a little more than going to Longhorns for dinner.
If you havent gone at least once just go but I definitely wouldn’t pay again even tho I might have to
It's a great show.
It's worth going at least once. I haven't been in 10 years, maybe I'll check it out again soon.
